HOW TO TRUST GOD (BUILDING FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST)
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Most often, we limit God in our thoughts and ways. Most people use their life experiences to judge the ways and acts of God. We can see from the Word that Balaam the prophet is speaking by the inspiration of the Spirit that God is not a man that He should lie so man can lie.
Parents can lie to us because they are humans. Your loved ones can lie to you because they are humans. Your closest and trusted neighbours can lie to you because they are humans.
I hope you have got the revelation here. Any human being with blood flowing through his vessels can lie to you because of the Adamic nature but God cannot lie because it is impossible for Him to lie (See 1 Samuel 15:29, Titus 1:2). This should be your first key to build your faith in God as you put your faith in His Word because His Word is always true (Meditate on Luke 21:33).
The second key to build your faith in God is that God cannot change His divine plan and purpose He has designed for you. The plans of God for your life is to bring you to an expected end. It is in the thoughts of God that you succeed in your business and in anything you do that glorifies Him (Meditate Jeremiah 29:11). The prophet is making a remarkable statement in the Word that God cannot change His mind towards you.
Sometimes we may make mistakes in life but His plans for us never changes because His love and mercies are great. Men may promise you but in the end, they may change their mind. They base their promises on strict conditions. Failure to comply with their strict terms and conditions attract a penalty of breaching the promise they made with you. Your close relatives and friends can promise you a good job, best education and other treasures. They can change their mind because they are humans with limited resources.
They also have personal challenges they have not told you about. They may fulfil their promise or postpone it. God does not deal with us on the concept of men. His Word is always true. Whatever He has promised you, He will do it and make it good if you remind Him and declare His Word back to Him (See Isaiah 43:26).
Divine Key: Declare, decree and confess the Word with absolute faith and take action as the Holy Spirit prompts and you will see the power of God.
