Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and
not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Connecting with God
requires patience and perseverance. Sometimes, we demand a quick answer from
God, but He prolongs the days. God knows the end from the beginning. His plans
for our life is to bring us peace, joy and expected end. God will never give us
something we cannot handle. He knows when we are matured to handle certain things
in our life. He waits for the best season to release our answer because He is a
righteous and a loving Father.
We cannot deceive God
because He knows the deep things of our heart. He understands us much more than
we understand ourselves. Connecting with God is not a day journey. We must
learn how to fast and pray because there are certain days we have to solely
depend on God for direction. The pressure of the world, unbelievers, and loved
one's may distance us from God if we don't fast and pray.
Waiting on the Lord may be a painful process
because our body will fight us. The desire of food, fun and other carnal things
may disconnect us from connecting with God in the season of fasting and prayers. Get my book titled “How to Walk and Live in the Spirit” for a more profound revelation.
