MOVING IN THE PROPHETIC REALM 1

Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Loved one in Christ Jesus I hope you are doing great in the Lord. God has been good unto us. His love for us is increasing daily in our lives. As we all know in the promises of God, our hope is established, and in the Word of God, we establish our faith. We learned in our previous lessons “Connecting with God.” on how we can connect with God. In this episode, I will take you through the stream of the prophet, and show you some ways you can access the prophetic realm to enable you to connect with God.

Many Christians do not understand how God connects with us in the spiritual realm. The issue is that God is always speaking to us. It is only our willful sin that limits us from hearing the voice of God (See Isaiah 59:1-3). Sin produces fear, and fear limits our ear of faith. When fear blocks our faith, it disconnects our spirit from hearing the voice of God. God speaks to us in different ways. You don’t have to always climb to a mountain top before you hear God.

We cannot limit God to one place. God lives in every corner of the world. He lives in our hearts. God lives in our spirit because He wants us to communicate with Him anytime and anywhere.

Adam and Eve could fellowship with God all the time because sin was not active in them. The moment they sinned, their spiritual connection with God fell apart. There are invisible sins (jealousy, hatred, lust, unholy anger, bitterness, pride, and many more) that suppress the voice of the Holy Spirit in our lives. To hear the voice of God or to connect to the frequency of the Holy Spirit, we must detect the barriers that prevent us from hearing the voice of God. I took my time to break the teachings into the various department to enable you to understand how God speaks to us, the channels through which God speaks, how we can train our spiritual senses, the barriers to God’s voice and how you can verify whether it is God or the devil speaking. There is a more profound revelation in the teachings.

As I said earlier, I will take you through the prophetic realm because it is one of the most confusing subject Christians do not understand. Most often, the things of the spirit cannot be taught perfectly if God has not delivered the secret to you. We must humble ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to teach us the Word because He is the best Person to reveal the hidden mysteries in the Word.

Theology is good, but it is not the only method to understand the Word. We need more of the Holy Spirit for the Word because He is the author. An author of a book is the best person to explain what he has written. For example, I have sat down and written over a hundred books. I have self-published twenty-five of them online and some paperback. I know what I have written, and I can explain everything written in the document because I wrote them with the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Nobody can best explain what I have written because the person is not the author. The same principle applies to the Word and to every author of a book. The Holy Spirit inspired human beings to write the scriptures. Some writers did not just write the scriptures because they wanted to write them. The Holy Spirit was the one who programmed them to write the scriptures.

So, to understand the scriptures, you must approach the owner and the instructor. The Holy Spirit is the Perfect Person to explain what is written in the Word. He knows how to explain a particular chapter of the scriptures. He can explain the scriptures differently to a Christian based on the knowledge and level, the person has attained with God. This does not mean that the Holy Spirit is the author of confusion. No! the Holy Spirit explains the Word to us based on our maturity, grace, and the level of love we have for Christ Jesus.

Someone can spend thirty minutes meditating on the Word. Another person can spend one hour, two hours, five minutes, one minute, or thirty seconds meditating on the scriptures. God can reveal the same or different amount of revelation to each person if the person has a desire to know more about the Word. God checks the motives behind our actions. God will never reveal a secret to a corrupt person because the person can abuse the secret. This is one reason God reveals His secrets to those who love Him, walks in His steps and full of the Holy Spirit anointing (Meditate on 1 Corinthians 2:9-11).

Why should the Holy Spirit reveal secrets to someone who has no love for Him, and for the sheep? I believe you will also do the same thing. You will not reveal a secret to someone who has not proved his or her love and commitment to you. Most often, I sacrifice my bed just to connect with the Holy Spirit and write books. I woke up around 2:00 am to write the article you are reading. I was tired, but I disciplined myself to write the article you are reading. Do you think I am a fool to ignore my bed and write a book? No, I am not a fool. I do that because it is my responsibility as a Christian to help grow the sheep.

If I can rise in the middle of the night to pray, feed on the Word and write books, why will the Holy Spirit not download revelation to my spirit to enable me to write many books and articles. Definitely, the Holy Spirit will reveal revelations to me because God gave me the grace to enable me to humble myself to pay the price. Remember this key, God always rewards people who sacrifice (it can be your prayer life, love for evangelism, supporting ministers of God in various ways, and the church and many ways). To connect with the mind of God, you must dedicate yourself wholeheartedly to the things of God.

• Some people must sacrifice their resources to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must sacrifice their energy to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must sacrifice their job to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must sacrifice their comfort zone to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must sacrifice their pride and humble themselves to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must join the workforce in the church to enable them to connect with God.

• Some people must pray for a new heart to enable the Holy Spirit to work in their heart.
• Some people must seek deliverance from called and anointed ministers of God to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must learn how to express love towards the creation of God to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must re-dedicate their life to Christ Jesus to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must love God above everything else in this world to enable them to connect with God.
• Some people must-read books connected to the Word of God to enable them to connect with God.
