Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get
wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
We learnt in episode one that we must be remindful of death, age, heaven, and hell to enable us to live in wisdom. We also learned in episode two that we must hold our tongue, refrain from putting all our trust in humankind and invest in the invisible man to enable us to live in wisdom. We learned in episode three on how wisdom and understanding works. In this episode, I will enumerate three divine keys which will enable you to live in wisdom.

One of the wisest men
that ever lived (Solomon) declares that wisdom is the principal
thing. Wisdom is the first thing we must seek, demand and craves for because it
is the most important thing in life. In economics, we have what we call the
scale of preference.
For example, you have a
list of products to buy. Maybe you decide to buy some basic needs and wants.
Needs are things you cannot live without and wants are things you can live
without. Water and food are the basic needs of humankind. Laptops and Cars are
wants of humankind. Needs and wants differs in the mind of people. One cannot
live without food and water for several days because they are the basic needs
of humankind.
One can live without cars,
laptops and a series of things because they are wants. We must understand that
our needs must come first before our wants. So, in your scale of preference,
you decide to satisfy your basic needs before you proceed to your wants because
your basic needs are the principal.
Your basic needs are the
first in line. You cannot bypass your basic needs. You have to satisfy your basic needs before
any other thing. Even within your basic needs, there is an opportunity cost. I
am trying to lay down the foundation first so you can understand what I am
about to teach.
When you ignore your
basic needs and proceed to your basic wants. You will face the consequences.
That is how Solomon describes wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom is the first thing
we must seek before we seek any other thing. Without wisdom, you cannot manage the
resource. You cannot place a person in a position because the person is your
neighbour. Placing the unqualified person in the leadership position will lead
to the mismanagement of resource.
The person must qualify
before you place him or her into the position. That is how wisdom works. Wisdom
is the first thing we must search for before we seek any other thing in life.
Without wisdom, corruption will fire up in the organization. We need wisdom in
every field of our lives because wisdom is the principal (first in rank)
thing.
As we learnt earlier in
episode three, I briefly explained wisdom and understanding. Get episode three

I will
enumerate only three divine keys, the Lord revealed unto me. These keys will
help you live in wisdom. Below are the keys.
1.
CHOOSE WISE ASSOCIATION.
Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful.
Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD ; and
in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also
shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The friends you associate
with has a great impact on your life. The marriage partner you choose also has
a great impact in your life because they will influence you emotionally,
intellectually, spiritually, and psychologically. The group you join in the
workplace, lecture hall, church, and neighbourhood have a great impact on your life.
There are friends that can
brighten your future. Associate with such people. Some people can add value to
your life. Connect with such people. disconnect with people who gossip and
speak evil of others because they can invite curses to you. Understand that it
is not everybody that you must allow to come into your inner chambers. I mean
there are some people you must allow them to come too close to you because they
can be a thorn in your flesh.
Anyone, you open your
heart to control you. Any word you receive impacts on your life. Words
can build a fortress of faith in your soul (emotions, will, mind, and
intellect). Apostle Paul states that “FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE
WORD OF GOD” (See Romans 10:17). So, the words you hear
continuously builds a mindset and a belief within your subconsciousness. These
thoughts will control your decisions without you knowing that you are
controlled by their words. Some women believe that all men are wicked because
of the words they have received from childhood and neighbours. Some men also
believe that all women are liars because of the words received from childhood
and neighbours.
In our modern world
today, people make friends through the internet. We have many social media
platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, periscope, Instagram,
skype, and many more) all over the world. Someone can be in his or her
room and make many friends on social media.
If you choose wise
association, you will flourish and make a great impact in this world. I always
read books that will transform my life positively. There are many Christian
teachings on my phone and laptop I listen to daily. These series of teachings help
me a lot because I have partnered with them in my soul.
The association (neighbours,
marriage partner, media, social media platforms, books, videos, and music)
you connect with can make you flourish or fail in life. The seed can never
germinate until it gets the necessary ingredient. The seed demands enough
water, sunlight, protection, and favourable soil to germinate. You are the seed;
the water is the words you received. The sunlight is the amount of exposure you
get. The soil is your jurisdiction. The mindset of your jurisdiction can
greatly affect you if you don’t guard your mind with the Word. The protection
symbolizes those who mentor and guide you. Choose wisely, love
humankind, and don’t despise anyone in life. Follow this path and you will live
in wisdom.
2.
USE ANGER WISELY.
Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and
cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables
of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written , My house
shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Matthew 21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the
temple; and he healed them.
Anger is a strong energy
that lives in the soul of humankind. Anger is an invisible force that makes a
man dominate an environment. No man in this world can deny this truth. We all
become angry sometimes. Becoming angry does not mean that you are sinful. It is
how you channel the anger that makes it sinful. If God can become angry, then
there is no sin for humankind to become angry.
God became angry in the
time of Noah because the people became exceedingly rebellious (See Genesis
chapter six in the Holy Bible). God took a decision and wiped the
sinful people from the earth through the flood. There are many instances in the
Bible God became angry. The anger of God does not lead to sin. God always
channels his anger towards sinful acts because His holiness cannot live in a sinful
jurisdiction.
If God created us in His
image and likeness and God expresses anger then we can also express anger.
Becoming angry at the sinful act and trying to resolve the anger in a godly way
is not sin. Your anger becomes a sin if you channel it evilly. People
fight and destroy the innocent when they become angry. Any anger that produces
regret is sinful.
We can see from the scriptures
(See Matthew 21:12-14) how Christ Jesus used His anger to fight
sinful activities. This means we can use our anger to correct sinful
activities. After Jesus drove away the evil people from the temple, he
performed some miracles. This means Jesus did not keep His anger. Jesus only
expressed His anger on the sinful people. After the act, He had compassion for the
weak.
The scripture makes us
understand that God is angry with the wicked every day (See Psalm
7:11). If God is angry with the
wicked, then we must also channel our anger towards wicked activities. Failure
to confront the wicked gives them the liberty and power to continue their
wicked acts. We must channel our anger towards things that brings life. Whiles
people are using their anger to destroy good things, we must use our anger to
build good things. We must use our anger towards great things and make things
happen.
Sometimes we must feel
challenged when we are not progressing. We must use our anger to progress
because anger makes us unstoppable. Whiles others are using their anger on
unnecessary things, we must use our anger on the things people think we cannot
do.
Nobody could stop Jesus
Christ in the temple because he dissipated His anger and anointing on the
wicked. There are times we have channel our anger against demonic activities
and the works of wicked and unreasonable people. I really love Archbishop
Duncan Williams for that because He channels most of his anointing and anger on
the devil and wicked people. When I read his books, I feel charged to pray for
hours.
The Holy Spirit must lead us when we channel our anger towards them
because the enemy can provoke us to sin when we are in the anger mood (See
Ephesians 4:26).
If you know how to
channel your anger, you will make a great impact in this world. Use your holy
anger to make things happen. Let your anger drive you towards positive things.
Don’t give the devil the chance to drain your anger on the negative (killing,
suicide, fighting, insults, bitterness, and invisible sins), but allow
the Holy Spirit to use your anger to do great things in the kingdom of God and
community.
3. DISASSOCIATE FROM
VISIONLESS ENVIRONMENT
2 Corinthians 5:7 ( For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
One reason many people cannot climb higher in life is because of the environment they live
in. Most often, people tie themselves in a particular belief that
limits them from progressing. The culture and the mindset of some people keep them
in an invisible prison.
In some towns and
villages, they tie themselves to some superstitious beliefs. Some people believe
that there are some gods in an assigned land so they preserve the place for the
“gods.”
I remember one early
morning I was walking to church. In the middle of the road, I saw a white
handkerchief with calabash and kola nuts laid on the ground. The traditional Priest sealed (secretly placed them in the middle of the night, I discerned in the spirit) the calabash with red linen and there was a knife plunged into the calabash and
placed at the junction of the road. When I saw the materials in the middle of
the road, I ignored and passed on. Immediately the Holy Spirit prompted me to
return and destroy the accursed materials in the middle of the road.
At first, I was afraid
because everyone passing by observed it quietly. I took courage from the Holy Spirit and
from the Word of God (See Isaiah 54:17) and came near the accursed
materials on the road. When I got near the materials, I was fully assured that it was an
evil traditional priest who planted these materials there to limit the progress
of the community. With the power of the Holy Spirit, I kicked the materials
with faith. I received many attacks spiritually and from strange dogs
physically, but they could not hurt me. Later in some weeks, I saw the obituary
an old man in the community. From that time, the community started growing.
Contractors started building the roads in that community.
I believe God used me to
destroy the accursed and charming materials the evil traditional priest planted
in the middle of the road. The Holy Spirit told me that anyone who ventured to
touch the charmed and demon-possessed materials without the power and the
anointing of the Holy Spirit will die or go mad because there was a curse (spirit of marine and wicked dwarfs) attached to it.
Such experience demands
the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This is not the only encounter
I have had. I have seen several occurrences, but my faith was not built to that
level. I can confront these demonic altars and materials because of the grace and the
anointing of the Holy Spirit in my life. Glory to God!
You must understand that it
doesn’t matter how intelligent you are, if you find yourself in an environment
possessed with demonic activities and superstitious beliefs, it will be very
difficult to progress. The mindset of the people will limit you from coming up
with your ideas. For example, a boy born into a village where the entire
occupation of the people is animal hunting. Such a boy has a little chance of
becoming great because all the people living in that community believe animal
hunting is their life. Please understand, I am not saying animal hunting is
evil.
The little boy may have
good ideas and gifts, but the community will never allow the boy to come out with
his ideas. There are some people with great gifts and talents but the
environment limits them from advancing. If you find yourself in such an environment,
you must break out from that place or else you will never make it.
This is not a curse. It
is a mindset of the community and for you to make it and advance, you must
vacate the community. Why did God command Abraham to depart from his father’s
house? (See Genesis 12:1-2). God knew that Abraham could not make
it until he departs from the visionless and demon-possessed community. Know
these truths.
- Your community has a great impact (psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially) on your life.
- Your community can make you poor if all the people living in the community have a poverty mindset.
- Your community can make you superstitious if all the people living in the community have a superstitious mindset.
- Your community can make you hopeless if all people living in the community are hopeless.
- Your community can make
demon-oppressed if all the people living in the community are demon oppressed.you - Your community can make you successful if all the people living in the community have a successful mindset.
- Your community can make you a failure if all the people living in the community have a failure mindset.
- Your community can make you a vagabond if all the people living in the community are vagabonds.
- Your community can make you live under a curse if the whole community is living under the curse of evil spirits.
BEFORE YOU CAN BREAKOUT
FROM THE VISIONLESS ENVIRONMENT, YOU MUST KNOW THESE TRUTHS.
- You need the wisdom of God to enable you to break out from the visionless environment.
- You need the grace of God to enable you to break out from the visionless environment.
- You need the power of God to enable you to break out from the visionless community.
- You must have a strong faith in the Word of God to enable you to break out from the visionless environment.
- You need to build a consistent prayer life to enable you to break out from the visionless environment.
- You need boldness to enable you to break out from the visionless environment.
