Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy
youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt
say, I have no pleasure in them;
While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or
the stars, be not darkened , nor the clouds return after the rain:
In the day when the keepers of the house
shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease
because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened ,
And th e doors shall be shut in the streets,
when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the
bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the
golden bowl be broken , or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel
broken at the cistern.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it
was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is
vanity.
And moreover, because the preacher was wise,
he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out , and
set in order many proverbs.
The preacher sought to find out acceptable
words: and that which was written was upright, even words
of truth.
The words of the wise are as goads,
and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are
given from one shepherd.
And further, by these, my son, be admonished :
of making many books there is no end; and much study is a
weariness of the flesh.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty
of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment,
with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be
evil.
(Ecclesiastes 12:1-14
KJV)
Death is inevitable to
every man born of a woman (see Job 14:1-2). The only men who
escaped death are Enoch and Elijah. Enoch walked with God and God took him (See
Genesis 5:23-24). God took Elijah because it was in His plans (See
2 Kings 2:1-11). Jesus Christ defeated death when He died and rose from
the dead on the third day.
Death is an evil spirit
that dominates and rules the wicked (See Revelation 20:12-15).
Sin created the spirit of death. Anyone who becomes a slave to sin becomes a
servant of death (Meditate on Genesis 2:17, Romans 6:23, James 1:14-15). The spirit of death trapped the soul of man until God breathed His
Spirit into the soul of man (Meditate on Genesis 2:7).
When humankind received
the breath of life, death could not trap the soul of man. The scripture records
that when the soul of man received the breath of God, man became a living soul.
This means something was hindering the soul of man to live. Get my book “How to Walk and Live in the Spirit” a more profound
revelation.
The spirit of death held
the soul of man captive in the beginning. The soul of man could not dominate
the earth until the Spirit of God gave life to man. This is one reason
people die young. Consistent willful sin empowers the spirit of death to
dominate the soul of man.
When the spirit of death
dominates the soul of man, the spirit of man becomes unresponsive to the decisions
and voice of the Holy Spirit. In this state, the man falls into spiritual
death. I have explained the three levels of death in my book “The Book of Secret Wisdom.”
We need to understand
death from a biblical perspective. King Solomon states in the book of
Ecclesiastes chapter twelve that there is a silver cord that holds the spirit
and the soul of man. This silver cord binds the soul and the spirit of man to
the body.
Before physical death
takes place, the spirit of death permanently breaks this silver cord. It is at this
stage that the spirit of a man permanently departs from the soul and body of a man, leaving the man to its formal state.
Most family members become sad and spend valuable money on the corpse that we can use to
help the living. What a waste of money on the corpse! Oh, my God! We
must apply wisdom!
At this stage, the body
becomes unresponsive and sent to the hospital for autopsy. The body returns to
the dust and the spirit of man returns to God. The question is,
- Where does the soul of man go when physical death takes place?
- What is the fate of those who never heard the gospel?
- What is the fate of those who heard the gospel but never responded to the gospel?
- What is the fate of those who gave their life to Jesus Christ and walked on the path of light?
- What is the fate of those who never in their lifetime heard the gospel and died in that state?
- What is the fate of the other religious groups (unbelievers)?
- Is there another world aside from this world?
- Does life end here when we die?
