How to Pursue a Purposeful Life 2 (Becoming hopeful in this dark world)
Loved one in Christ Jesus I
hope the grace and the mercies of God are flowing in your life. This is episode
two of my teachings on how to get a purposeful life in
this dark and wicked world. Don’t expect someone to make you happy, create your
own happiness. The world has many shreds of evidence to make you sad, hopeless
and depressed. Find ways that will make you hopeful.
Failure to create a hopeful
atmosphere can make your enemies, the devil, and the unbelievers dominate you. You
can die before your time if you do not activate a purposeful life in this
corrupt world. In episode one, I shared with you three wisdom keys on how you
can activate a purposeful life. I will share with you four wisdom keys on how to activate a purposeful life. Below are some wisdom keys to help you activate a hopeful and purposeful life.
4.
Embrace the love of God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16 KJV).
One
of the best keys to help you activate a purposeful and happy life is to embrace
the love of God. The Bible says that God so loved the world that He gave His
unique Son as a sin offering to enable us to receive salvation. God greatly loved
us. He allowed sinful men to inflict pain, disdain, oppress, make a mockery, and
crucify Jesus because of our sins. God could have destroyed the entire world and created a new set
of people. God did not offer Jesus Christ as a sin offering when Satan and some
angels rebelled against Him.
God
expressed His love for us by creating us in His image and likeness. This should tell
you how God treasures us. He loved us to the extent of allowing His creation to
kill His Son (Jesus Christ). If
God allowed Jesus to suffer for our sins, then you must understand how valuable
are in the sight of God. In my book “Keep Quiet and Let me Follow Jesus Christ” I have enumerated some wisdom
keys why I will never give up on Jesus Christ. Let this mind be in you. God so
loved us to the extent that He calls us His sons.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed
upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth
us not, because it knew him not.
(1 John
3:1
KJV).
Anytime
you feel like giving up in life, remember Jesus Christ died for your sins, He
rose on the third day for your justification and He is coming back to take us to His
kingdom. Jesus Christ loves me. He loves you; He loves us, Glory to God!
5.
Concentrate!
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image
of God, should shine unto them.
(2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV).
One
of the greatest weapons the enemy uses against people is slander, gossip, and
jealousy. Don’t join with gossips. Doing that will hinder your progress, creativity,
self-value, visions and dreams. When you join people to speak evil about others,
you concentrate your energy on the wrong things. I don’t have time to gossip
about people because I have a lot of things to do.
The
Bible says that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers.
This means Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelievers. Most of the
unbelievers are controlled by forces of darkness. If you join them, you give
Satan and demons the license to control your mind. If demons capture your mind,
you will become oppressed and confused. When you become confused, you become
jealous of successful people.
Why
don’t you concentrate on God's assignment? Keep your mouth
shut. Don’t yoke with people who gossip about others. Such people have no vision
for their lives. They are tools in the enemy’s hands. The devil only uses them
to destroy others. Will you allow the devil to use you to destroy others? Probably
you wouldn’t allow the devil to use you.
- Concentrate on the kingdom business and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on your education and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on your marriage and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on your salvation and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on your relationship with the Holy Spirit and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on building a successful career and stop gossiping about others.
- Concentrate on your divine purpose and stop gossiping about others.
When
you dedicate your time to gossip about others, it wastes your precious time, drains
your resourceful energy, brings curses, discontentment, and confusion. Focus on
what God has called you to do. There are potentials within you. Discover them
and start working on it. You have some gift, talents, ideas, inventions, sacred
wisdom and knowledge that can help those around you, your family and the world.
Concentrate on these things!
6.
Connect with mentors who have walked your path and are still in it.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV).
God
created us for the fellowship because He is the source of love. He desires to fellowship with us (See Revelation 4:11, Proverbs 6:22-31).
We need each other in life, ministry, business, and career. You cannot go far in life if you walk alone on this earth. Before we build a house, we need architects, contractors, engineers and builders (carpenters, electricians, bricklayers,
and other important people). If the architect draws the building plan
and there are no contractors, the house will remain in the mind and the document of
the architect. If the contractor does not employ electricians, carpenters and
other builders, he cannot build the house.
Such
is life. We need people in our lives. If you always want to be alone, you will be
sad and hopeless. Find mentors who have walked your path. For example, if you
want to be a Christian missionary, search for successful and unsuccessful
Christian missionaries. Find out from the successful missionary how he became
successful and how you can improve on his methods. Find out from the
unsuccessful missionary why he couldn’t make it. This will help you prevent the
mistake he made and also help you make appropriate decisions. If you are too
proud to learn from others, it will take a long time for you to be successful.
Today, technology has
made it easy to learn from others. You can read and listen to the books of successful
people who have made it in your field. You can watch recommended videos on
you tube that will help you become a better person. There are uncountable
websites and blogs you can visit to help you expand your knowledge. Get in touch
with people who have made it in the field God has called you to walk and learn from them!
7.
Disconnect from people who are deeply hopeless.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth
he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever
he doeth shall prosper.
(Psalm
1:1-3
KJV).
Disassociate
with people who are going nowhere because you will end up like them. In my books
“Fourteen Divine Principles of Connecting with the Seed of God” and “Spiritual Keys for Life” I have written more wisdom keys on
how to access the blessings of God. Avoid wicked and unrepentant people in your
life if you want to be in God's will.
Disassociate
from people who make a mockery of our faith in Christ Jesus. There is a video
trending on you tube called “Ghana
Jesus.” Those videos may look funny, but it is a direct mockery of Jesus
Christ and the Christian faith. The Devil has upgraded his devices, and it is
our responsibility to detect it and break it. Get my book “The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail” for
a more profound revelation. Meditate on this scripture.
Thou shalt not take the
name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in
vain.
(Deuteronomy 5:11 KJV).
When
you use the name of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ to make fun, you mock God. If
you join people who speak evil and make mockery about the Christian faith, it
will limit your faith. When your faith becomes weak, it destroys your hope in
the Lord. Search out for purposeful people and associate with them, and you will
become hopeful in life.
I will continue in episode three.
Shalom.
