How to Pursue a Purposeful Life 4 (Becoming hopeful in this dark world)
We give all the glory and honour to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for His unconditional love, mercy, and grace. Loved one in Christ Jesus I hope you are moving in the strength of the Lord. This is episode four of my lessons on how to pursue a purposeful life. These wisdom keys will help you become hopeful in life and empower you to break barriers despite the limitations. If you have not read the previous lessons, kindly read them. Below are some wisdom keys to help you pursue a purposeful life and become hopeful in life.
11.
Be Content and work effectively.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5 KJV
One
of the greatest weapons the enemy, the unbelievers and carnal Christians uses
against sincere Christians who are not strong financially is money. Money is
not evil because it helps us do greater things in life. Money becomes evil when
we lust after it. As the Bible says, the love of money is the root of all evil (See 1 Timothy 6:10). Get my book “One Step in the Light One Step in the Darkness” for more profound revelation.
Billy
Graham said, one of the greatest keys to happiness is contentment. If you want
to be happy in life, be content with what you have and work effectively to improve
your status. Joyce Meyer said, “Contentment
doesn’t mean that you don't ever want anything or you don’t want to see any change in your
life but it means you can be satisfied at where you at on the way to where you are
going through trusting God and believing that He is working in your life.”
The Bible says that we
should refrain from covetousness. Do you know that people have died because of money? Jesus said we cannot serve money and serve God at the same
time (See
Luke 16:13). Get me right. I am not condemning money because money can
help us in many ways . Money becomes evil when our love for it exceeds the love
of God.
I know Christians who are
rich yet they serve God wholeheartedly. God promises us that if we are content with
what we have, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Love ones in Christ
Jesus, don’t misinterpret contentment and live in poverty. Contentment doesn’t
mean you should accept poverty.
- Contentment means you are happy with yourself.
- Contentment means you love God with all your heart.
- Contentment means your love for Jesus Christ exceeds anyone else’s love.
- Contentment means you are not jealous of others.
- Contentment means you are ready to serve God with what you have.
- Contentment means depending on God.
- Contentment means you don’t solely depend on humankind for help.
- Contentment means you
will not sell your virtue for fame,
and earthly glory.power,
12.
Love Knowledge
Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the
interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the
boldness of his face shall be changed .
Ecclesiastes 8:1 KJV

because the Word contains perfect wisdom.
Read books (especially Christian books) that can help you in your field. The more you read, the
more you become resourceful and relevant. Most people dislike

Amos 3:3 KJV
Do
you want to go far in life? Then you must know these truths.
- Choose
a marriage partner compatible with your vision, mission,
and purpose.assignment, - Choose
and associate with groups compatible with your vision, assignment,

If
you want to be who God made you to become, never equally associate with people who
hate and disagree with your purpose. If you associate with such people, they
will limit you and make you lose faith in what God has called you to do.
Connect with people who share your fears, joy, and purpose because they can
encourage you when you are down. They can be a source of hope to you when they
are around you.
