THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST 12 (The Law of Reciprocity 2)
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:43-48 KJV

One of the greatest
virtues found in the entire world is love. As a friend of mine said, “Love is
the greatest religion of the world.” I believe love is the greatest religion
because almost every religion emphasizes love. The question is, what is
love? How can we express love towards our loved ones, and those who hates and
dislikes us?
Let us define love from
the biblical point of view.
Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag,
it is not puffed up.
It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or
resentful.
It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things.
Love never ends…
1 Corinthians 13:4-9 (NET BIBLE)
It is easy to love those
who love you. Everybody can express love if they receive love. The most difficult love we
can ever express in this world is to love our enemies. Jesus said we should
love those that hate us and speak well of them that make mockery of us. From the natural perspective,
it may sound unreasonable because how can we love people who discredit, insult,
slander, oppose and misunderstand us.
We must understand that
Jesus Christ is not a fool to command us to love our enemies. There must be a
reason for this command. We need divine wisdom in love because
most people act ignorantly. The most painful part is when someone fights a
person he or she doesn’t know.
Such is the world. We
live in a world where people relate with you based on the value; they place on
you. The love of Christians differs from the love of the world. The world
(unbelievers) has a way of expressing love. They only love you when they can
get something from you. The unbelievers love because of some benefits they can
get from you. Such love is fake because they will forsake you when the storms
(difficulty and challenging season) feature itself in your life.
This is one reason many couples divorce. Some people are married to their enemies
ignorantly. Such people do not understand the love of God. Read my article “Types of love” for a more profound revelation.
The love of Jesus Christ
is unconditional. We are to love our neighbours and some enemies unconditionally.
When we express love towards our neighbours and some enemies, it breaks the
chains of the devil. Remember, we have different enemies. Get my book “How to Live and Deal with Enemies” for a more profound
revelation.
Some enemies can help us become strong in the Lord. There are some enemies, it takes love to break the curse on their life. One of the best keys to overcome some enemies is to
apply the virtue of love because love is a strong force that breaks the
fortress of demons and activates the host of heaven to dominate our
environment. When we express love towards some enemies, God releases his
judgement. Remember, God turned the curses of Baalam into blessings because the Israelites had a covenant with Him.
When we bless some
enemies, God diverts the plans of our enemy. Our enemies fall into their own trap
when we speak blessings into their lives. In the time of Moses, the Israelites
had the right to pay back their enemies for their evil deeds, but in our time, we have
greater weapons. We can use the weapon of love to pay them.
It may look like we are
losing but, in the end, we shall overcome.
When we pray for some enemies, God becomes the fighter. Meditate on this
scripture.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place
unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is
mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him;
if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on
his head.
Romans 12:19-20 KJV
Whatever we sow we shall
reap. If you sow the seed of hatred, slander, wickedness, confusion, and evil,
you will reap. That is a spiritual law. Get my series of books for a more

When the Romans and Pharisees
came to Gethsemane (a garden near Jerusalem) to arrest Jesus Christ, Peter used a knife to slice the ear of a roman soldier (See Matthew 26:47-52). Jesus Christ said
to Peter, “Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they
that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”
Whatever you sow in life,
you will reap the same or a triple harvest. If you sow the seed of love,
financial help, prayer, support, praises and good virtues, you will reap it. That is
how spiritual virtues works. When we express love towards our neighbours and
some enemies, we shall receive good rewards.
When people are speaking
evil about you because they want to disgrace you or because they are jealous of
you, keep blessing them with your words, prayer, money, or any help you can
provide, The Lord and His angels will repay. As Archbishop Duncan N. Williams always says, “Vindication is in
the womb of time.” The time will feature itself. The people that sowed
bad and good seeds into your life will reap the harvest. Remember what happened Saul
(later became Apostle Paul).
He suffered a lot as an Apostle because he
destroyed most of the Christians. Remember what happened to David’s family when
he took Uriah’s wife Bathsheba and commanded Joab one of his best
soldiers to send Uriah to the toughest battleground.
Because of that
command, Uriah died. David knew Uriah would die in that arena so he
intentionally commanded Joab to send Uriah to that arena. Because of David’s
wicked act, his son Amnon raped Tamar and caused Absalom to murder Amnon
through his guards. David’s family suffered a lot because of his evil deeds. Don’t
forget Jacob’s sons and the prophecy they received. There is a lot of
evidence in the Bible to back up this teaching.
The people that sowed
good seeds into your life shall also receive their harvest. God may forgive you
of the sin but for the seed (good or bad) you have sown, you will receive a fair share.
It is not a curse; It is a spiritual law.
If you work wickedness against animals and the creation of God, you hurt
God.
If you show love (by feeding and caring) to animals, they will love and protect you in return. Whatever you do to your fellow man or woman, whether it is a tree, dog, cat or anything created by God, there is a reward. Meditate on this scripture.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that
shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:7 KJV
Know these truths.
- If you want others to love you or love your bloodline, love others.
- If you want others to hate you or hate your bloodline, hate others.
- If you want others to slander you or slander your bloodline, slander others.
- If you want others to support you or support your bloodline, support others.
- If you want others to reject you or reject your bloodline, reject others.
- If you want others to kill you or kill your bloodline, kill others.
- If you want others to care for you or care for your bloodline, care for others.
- If you want others to accept you or accept your bloodline, accept others.
- If you want to attract godly people, live a godly life.
- If you want criminals to attract you, dress and act like a criminal.
- If you want to get a faithful husband, be a virtuous woman.
- If you want to get a virtuous wife, have reverence for God.
- If you want people to follow you, follow others.
- If you want people to serve you, serve others.
- If you want people to obey you, obey others.
- If you want people to disrespect you or disrespect your bloodline, disrespect others.
The list goes on.
Whatever you want others to do to you or do to your bloodline, do unto others. I believe you remember what happened to Daniel's enemies and their bloodline (Read Daniel 6:1-24). We must overcome evil
with good. Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Rome.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21 KJV
This means one of the
best keys we can use to overcome evil and some enemies is to apply the key of
divine love. With the Holy Spirit, we can love some enemies. We can express the
love of God. Do not hate your fellow neighbour because the real enemy is behind
the scene. Get my series of books for a more profound revelation.
God created all men, not
some men. God did not say, “Let us create some men in our image and likeness.”
God said.
… LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE, AFTER OUR LIKENESS: and let them have dominion over the fish of the
sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,
and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26 KJV
Whatever we do in this world (to every living being and tangible thing on earth), we do unto God. Think twice before you take action.
The
key rests in your hands, choose wisely!
