How to Stand the Storms of Life 6 (Overcoming the Challenges of life)
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21 KJV
We thank God for His
unconditional love in our life. This is episode six on my teachings breaking
the storms of life and becoming purposeful. Kindly read the foundational lessons for a better understanding of this topic.
In this lesson, I will share with you one of
the most important keys to enable you to break the storms of life.
I call this key the invisible sword. The Scriptures records that our tongue is
full of power. Either we use our tongue to shape our lives, bring hope, joy, peace, and unity in
our life or you use your tongue to destroy your purpose or cause disaster.
Words are creative forces
in the spiritual realm. Our words affect our souls (will power, emotion, desire, intellect). The words we allow into our
soul life control us. There are some words we must not allow to enter our
soul because it can cause havoc in the spiritual realm. If you allow negative
words or videos into your life, you open the door for evil spirits to get access into
your life.
Evil words will
contaminate your soul and make you immoral in your thoughts. Words that do not
glorify Jesus Christ create strange stench around you. I remember I was
listening to a program on the radio through my phone. I fell asleep whiles
listening to this program on my phone.
Most often, radio
stations change programs on the network. In the dream, I saw myself vomiting feces.
When I wake from the bed, I realize that the radio station was playing secular
music, and this song was contaminating my soul and spirit.
The words that came from
the radio station was contaminating my spirit and soul. My spirit couldn’t accept
those evil words that emanated from the music, so the only way out was to vomit
those evil words in my dream.
The Holy Spirit drew my
attention when I was praying in tongues. He said to me; I should be careful of
who I submit to and the one I listen to because their words impact my soul and
spirit. The Holy Spirit does not inspire some of the words some people speak into my life. I was receiving poisons into my spirit and soul through their words unconsciously.
As I was vomiting the feces in my dream, the
Holy Spirit was cleansing me from the evil words coming from secular music and the poison I received from some people I was listening to. Secondly, the
words coming from the radio did not agree with my spirit. There are some people;
they find themselves always in a depressed state.
Sometimes it is the words
you hear and some spiritually contaminated foods you eat give license to demons to frustrate your life. Some words, music,
and books you connect with are full of poison (harmful to your soul and spirit). The words in those materials can
make you depressed, hopeless, discouraged, and fearful.
As the scripture
declares, death lies on the tongue. The words you allow in your life create ideas
in your soul. When your thoughts become evil, it attracts evil spirits to you. When
this happens, you open your spirit and soul to demonic attacks. When you hear inspired words, the Holy Spirit and the holy angels draw closer to you because those words bring life.
Evil spirits tormented King
Saul because of his wickedness. When David played his harp and sang unto the
Lord in the presence of Saul, the evil spirits tormenting Saul left. King Saul became
refreshed through the inspired music of David (See 1 Samuel 16:23). This means anointed Spirit-filled songs invites the Holy Spirit and God's angels into our jurisdiction (See Psalm 22:3).
The holy scripture declares
that our tongue can generate life (joy, peace, love, faith, and other seeds of
the Holy Spirit) into our spirit and soul. Connect with words that bring life to enable you to break the
discouragement, depression, oppression, and worry habit.
Apostle Paul writes.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare
are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
Some words fight our
spirit in the spiritual realm. We cannot see these weapons because they are
invisible to the natural eye. The enemy uses these weapons to fight us. The devil
and his minions create ungodly philosophies into the minds of unbelievers and
lukewarm Christians.
We must cast down these
imaginations through the Word and prayer. We must subject every thought to the thought of
Jesus Christ. The Word (Holy Bible) contains the ideas of Jesus Christ. The
Word can judge the actions, desires, and motives of our soul and spirit because
it is an offensive and a defensive weapon.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and
sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 KJV
The Word (Holy Bible) can break every
storm in our spirit and soul when we feed, confess, teach, declare, and pray
them. The Word is a fire that consumes
every storm in our life. The Word breaks every fortress the enemy has planted
in our soul. It doesn’t matter how deep your family, school, country, culture,
demons, and enemies have structured your mindset. The Word is a spiritual
hammer that breaks every storm (ungodly philosophies) in our life.
Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and
like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Jeremiah23:29 KJV
At the initial stage, you
may go through some challenges. Press on. Keep feeding your soul and spirit
with the Word. As you do that, the Holy Spirit renews the inner man (Meditate on 1 Peter 2:2, Romans 12:1-2). The Holy
Spirit will empower your spirit and renew your soul when you consistently feed on the Word because the Word is the food for your spirit and soul.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward
man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16 KJV
When our spirit and soul become
stable through the Word, the storms limiting our inner man breaks. Glory to God!
