Loved one in Christ
Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. The Holy Spirit
is working through His holy vessels in these last days. We must focus on Jesus
Christ and His kingdom because He is coming soon. In my previous teachings, I
explained we must not be greedy for money.
I also explained that the
unbelievers and some "Christians" would persecute us because we are strangers on
this land. As Apostle Peter said, we are strangers and pilgrims living in this world
(See 1 Peter 2:11). We are passing by; therefore, we must live according to the
kingdom rules (Meditate on Matthew 6:33).
God has hidden His wisdom
in the Word (Holy Bible). Jesus said we should first seek the kingdom of God
and His righteousness. When we crave for the things of God, He will add unto
us our basic needs and wants. Let us accept the Word of God by faith and endeavour to
spread the good news to others.

Let’s get to the topic
for today. In this article, I will use the temptation of Jesus Christ as a
criterion to teach you some lessons. Let’s read from the Word.
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from
Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those
days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of
God, command this stone that it be made bread.
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That
man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain,
shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
And the devil said unto him, All this power will I
give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to
whomsoever I will I give it.
If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be
thine.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind
me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only
shalt thou serve.
And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a
pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast
thyself down from hence:
For it is written, He shall give his angels charge
over thee, to keep thee:
And in their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou
shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he
departed from him for a season.
Luke 4:1-13 KJV
Luke, the physician, records
that the Spirit of God led Jesus Christ into a solitary place to wait (fast and pray) on His
Heavenly Father (God). This means a time will come in our lives; the Holy
Spirit will direct us to fast and pray. It is a season of separation.
In this season, the Holy
Spirit gets full control of our lives because we commune with Him through
fasting, prayers, and spiritual songs. Most often, I feel hunger when I am
fasting. It is a price we must pay to become strong in the Lord.
The scripture states, if
we wait on the Lord, we renew our strength (See Isaiah 40:31). We become
stronger in the Spirit when we build ourselves through fasting and prayers.
Fasting and prayer can be
painful if it is your first time. As you keep fasting and praying, it becomes normal
to you. The Holy Spirit knows without fasting and prayers, we cannot
stand certain demons and temptation (See Matthew 17:14-21).
There are some demons
they will never submit until we fast and pray. Apostle Paul knew the power of
fasting. Paul kept his body under subjection through fasting and prayers (See 1
Corinthians 9:24-27). If Apostle Paul fasted and prayed, then we must also fast and pray.
I have realized in my
Christian life that fasting is one of the fastest and greatest boasters in the
spiritual realm. The more I fast and pray; my spirit becomes stronger. The more
I fast and pray; my spiritual senses become sensitive to the voice and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Fasting and prayers is a
spiritual mandate to all Christians. Fasting without prayers or Word meditation
is starvation. Be led by the Holy Spirit before you fast because there are
spiritual consequences.
The more we fast and
pray, the greater God releases divine mercies in our life. Fasting touches the
soul of God. It opens the gate of mercy, grace, love, and power into our life. A
Christian who hates fasting cannot rise higher in the spiritual realm.
The system of the world
is not conducive to carnal Christians. If you are carnal or soulish
Christian, you empower evil spirits and the unbelievers to dominate you. Jesus Christ showed us the
way. He is our role model.
We must follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ because He is the complete expression of the true light. If you want
to know more about Jesus Christ, meditate on the Word, fellowship with the Holy Spirit through anointed and biblical Christian worship.
Spirit-led fasting is a
powerful antidote to break the spirit of pride. If you want to kill the seed of
pride in your life, I recommend fasting and prayers. Spirit-led fasting and
prayers sharpen our spiritual senses.
It is through fasting and
prayers that we attract the holy angels to surround us. If you want the angels
of God always to surround your jurisdiction, be consistent in fasting and
prayers.
By the grace of God, I
have experienced most of the teachings I am giving to you. The angels of God will
dominate your room if you embark on a three days dry fasting and prayers. You will be more
conscious of the spiritual world because, at this stage, your soul and body have
submitted to the Holy Spirit through your spirit.
The devil tempted Jesus
Christ after fasting and prayers. This means the devil will tempt us in the
process and after the fasting. The devil will not appear as a dragon to tempt
you during the fasting or separation season.
The devil will use his minions (demons), human
vessels, the desires of the flesh, the things you like most, and besetting sin to block you in the season
of fasting. He works with wicked demons and these demons work through the soul of
men. If your mind is empty of God’s Word, they get the upper hand to suggest
things to you and manipulate your soul.
We must pull down the
strongholds (imaginations, beliefs, culture, and philosophy) of the enemy and
some corrupt wisdom keys of the unbelievers because they oppose the wisdom of God
(Meditate on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
The devil can use the
media, the internet, porn videos, seductive games, erotic books, ungodly
people, and temporal things to mislead us. We must guard our heart with all
diligence because it is one of the spiritual battles we must win (Meditate on Proverbs 4:23).
If you conquer the
manipulations of the devil in your soul (will, emotions, desire, will, intellect
and desires) and guard your soul with the Word (promises of God recorded in
the Holy Bible), you have won 99.9% of the battle in the spiritual realm.
Our mind controls every
organ in our body. If the Word of God rules your soul, evil spirits can never
conquer you. Build your faith in the Word of God. I recommend my book, How

Take responsibility
because the power lies in you (Meditate on Proverbs 18:21). Jesus Christ has
given us His Word (Holy Bible), anointing, divine wisdom, strength, knowledge, resources,
and the tongue to dominate the earth. Know these truths.
- Failure to wait on the Lord will make you a carnal Christian.
- Failure to feed on the Word will give the devil and his minions the power to dominate your soul.
- Failure to wait on the Lord will weaken your spirit.
- Failure to wait on the Lord can make you backslide.
- Failure to wait on the Lord will empower the evil spirits to oppress, suppress, and depress you.
- Failure to wait on the Lord will make you a soulish Christian.
- Failure to build a prayer life will empower the kingdom of darkness to dominate your activities.
- Failure to feed, decree, declare, confess, and pray the Word will empower the enemy to control your affairs.
Child of
God, separate yourself for a season and wait (fast and pray) on the Lord. The
Holy Spirit will reveal mysteries to you in the season of fasting and prayers.
Fasting helps me a lot in my spiritual life. Get my series of books

reveals many things to me when I fast and pray. Whatever I am writing to you
are not theories, they work in my Christian life. Follow my teachings, and you
will experience spiritual growth in the Lord.
The devil will flee from you when it sees the anointed fire surrounding you. Don’t be discouraged because greater is He that lives in you than the one in this world (See 1 John 4:4). The devil can only dominate you if you are ignorant of God’s Word.
The unbelieves can only attack you if you give them attention. Be focused on Jesus Christ. Fear not, for the Lord is with you (Meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7).

- Who is he that can fire me when Jesus Christ has not approved him?
- Who is he that can destroy me when Jesus Christ has favoured me?
- Who is he that can stop my future when Jesus Christ has sealed me with His blood?
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
