The Rewards on the Road to the Celestial City (10)

 

Loved one in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. The King of Kings and Lord of LORDS reigns forever. Yea thou we walk through the valleys of the shadows of death, we shall fear no evil because Jesus Christ is our Light (See Psalm 23 and Psalms 91).

The Lion of the tribe of Judah is our Protector, Defender, and Guide. As we tread on the holy road to the Celestial City, the Holy Spirit reveals to us the plans of the Heavenly Father, so we can live in wisdom. One of the best friends you can ever have in life is the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit knows the plans of God for our lives. He knows our secrets, the conditions, and the hidden thoughts of our hearts. He knows the enemy’s plan for our lives. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit through spiritual songs because He is the only one to set us free from every bondage. No one can subdue the Holy Spirit's power and authority because He is the source of power and authority.

If you have the Holy Spirit, you have the whole world living inside you (Meditate on 1 John 4:4). Be joyful in Jesus Christ because you have a great heritage. Exhibit the fruits (See Galatians 5:22-23) of the Holy Spirit in your life. No one can steal your heavenly treasures from you because it is in the hands of the Supreme LORD (Jesus Christ).

Every power, kingdom, leader, and authority in this world and the spiritual world must bow at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ (See Philippians 2:1-11). Never undermine your treasures in Jesus Christ because He is Greater than the greatest.

If you have Jesus Christ, you are wiser than the wisest unbeliever in this world. It doesn’t matter the number of colleges the person (unbeliever) has attended; if that person does not have Jesus Christ in his/her life, all his wisdom will not stand the storms of life.

If you have Jesus Christ, you are more significant than the wealthiest unbeliever in this world. It doesn’t matter the number of properties the person has acquired in life. It doesn’t matter the number of certificates the person has acquired in life; if that person does not have Jesus Christ in his/her life, that person is lost (Meditate on 2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

Be grateful and joyful that you have Jesus in your life because Jesus Christ is the Creator of the universe. Jesus Christ is the way. If you are lost and confused in life, search for Jesus Christ (See John 14:5-6). If you are fed up in life, connect with the Holy Spirit through spiritual songs, and He will empower you to stand against the evil wind.

One of the best ways to connect with the will of God in the season of pain, confusion, and depression is to praise the holiness of God and pray in the Spirit. Praying in the Spirit is a great way to release the hands of God in your life. The world may misunderstand you because they only walk by sight (Meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:7).

We (Christians) walk by faith. We walk and live with the mindset of God’s promises. We stand on God’s Word because that is our foundation of truth. Our life depends on God’s Word (Holy Bible). Without the Word of God, we will not know the plans of God for our lives.

The Word of God brings life to our spirit and soul. It is through the Word of God that we revive our hope (Meditate on Romans 10:17). The Word of God strengthens our hope and sharpens our faith despite the circumstance. Any Christian believer that ignores the Word of God and only relies on the words of men can fail in life (Meditate on 1 Peter 2:2 and Jeremiah 7:5-8).

Put all your faith in God’s promises recorded in the holy scriptures because God is not a man that He should lie (See Numbers 23:19). God always stands by His Word. God has lifted His Word above His name (See Psalm 138:2). Sometimes we may not understand our challenges and persecutions, but God understands all.

God is not wicked to leave in us the desert. Connect with God through prayers. God loved us to the extent of sacrificing His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as a sin sacrifice (See John 3:16). Jesus Christ died in our place. We deserved the pain, rejection, insults, and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, but Jesus took the pain, shame, insults, and crucifixion (See Isaiah 53).

Jesus Christ didn’t die for the rebellious angels, but He died for us (See Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ rose on the third for our justification. If you are in Jesus Christ, you are a new creation. Everything about you has become new (Meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Child of God, never be discouraged, or fearful in life because God has not given us the spirit of fear (Meditate on 2 Timothy 1:7).

God has given us the Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. Anytime you feel fearful in life, it can be an attack on the enemy to make you lose focus in life. Get my series of books to help you dominate the systems of the enemy. Reject any voice (video, music, and counsels) that makes you fearful in life. Accept words that will build your faith and empower you to walk in the footsteps of Christ Jesus.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit can make us uncomfortable when we walk outside the path of Jesus Christ. God can use His vessels to warn you when you walk outside His will. God can warn us through His Word (Meditate on 2 Timothy 3:16-17). God can warn us through dreams and visions (Meditate on Job 33:14-18). Anytime God warns you through His vessels and dreams, repent.

God reproves and rebukes those He loves (See Revelation 3:19). God is not against you. The plan of God for your life is to bring you to a glorious end (See Jeremiah 29:11). God has prepared a precious kingdom for you. Before you can possess these treasures, there are some things you must be watchful of. These are the words of Jesus Christ.

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 2:12-17 KJV

Some leaders in the body of Christ are teaching the flock of God unbiblical and deceptive doctrines. Such leaders are the wolves in sheep clothing. They only think about themselves. Such leaders are not concerned about the salvation of God’s flocks (Meditate on 2 Timothy 4:3-4, Matthew 7:15-20, Matthew 24:11).

These leaders teach false doctrines and lead the body of Christ into destruction. Such leaders only preach about prosperity and reject holiness, salvation, faith, evangelism, and other essential doctrines. It is not evil to teach on how to prosper in a godly way.

Teaching prosperity and ignoring the important Christian doctrines (evangelism, repentance, salvation, Holy Spirit, baptism, and the other vital doctrines) can lead to the destruction of life

False leaders ignore the doctrine of Christ Jesus, the doctrine of the apostles, and the general doctrine of the Holy Bible. These leaders impose uninspired worldly ideas into the body of Christ. These are the charlatans in the body of Christ.

They never teach the true Word of God. Such leaders deceive and mislead the flock of God. They know how to mislead innocent people with false prophecies. These leaders target wealthy people in the church and ignore the poor.

These false leaders appoint carnal and unqualified people as church leaders. These are the Balaam’s in our modern churches. They encourage people in their sinful state.

They never rebuke the flock when they miss the path of Jesus Christ. The Word of God commands us to rebuke and expose them because they destroy innocent lives and lead them to the lake of fire.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, BUT RATHER REPROVE THEM.

For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Ephesians 5:11-12 KJV

It is our responsibility as Christian believers to rebuke and expose false leaders, misleading the flock of God. Failure to rebuke them will empower them to destroy the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ hates the doctrines of false teachers, prophets, apostles, pastors, and evangelists. If our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ hate such practices, then we (Christian workers) must also hate such doctrines.

If God has called you to defend the Christian faith, then do it with all your heart, strength, and resource because He is your Protector and Provider. No one can kill you without the permission of Jesus Christ (Meditate on Romans 8:31 and Psalm 89:20-23).

Jesus Christ desires repentance. If you are in a church where the angel of the church (leader(s) of the church) does not teach and preach the true Word of God, depart from that church because God wants to see you in the Celestial City. Let’s read that verse again.

…I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Revelation 2:14-16 KJV

Jesus Christ emphasizes that these leaders encourage the flocks of God to continue in their wicked acts. Such leaders deceive the flock of God by teaching them false doctrines that are not compatible with the holy scriptures.

Most Often, fornication and corruption are rampant in such churches. The leaders are perpetrators of these evil acts. The evil deeds descend from the leader (angel of the church). From the leader, it descends to the church workers and members. Jesus Christ hates such acts because it corrupts the atmosphere of the church.

The evil deeds in such churches invite Balaam and Jezebel's spirit (evil spirits) into the people's souls and spirits. Jesus Christ is saying, repent because He loves you. Jesus wants you to turn around because the souls are precious to Him.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation  2:17 KJV

Jesus Christ has prepared a glorious reward for those that repent from these evil acts. There is a hidden manna God has prepared for His precious ones. 

• This manna will sustain your spirit and empower you to walk in love.
• This manna will boost your love for Jesus Christ. 
• It will upgrade your zeal for Jesus Christ. 
• As you take this manner, you will understand the ways, thoughts, and acts of Jesus Christ. 
• All the secrets of God will be revealed to you when you take this manna.
• The manna will make you operate in the thoughts of God. 
• Through this manna, we will understand the reason for pain, love, suffering, and the purpose of creation. 
• The manna will enlighten our spiritual understanding of God’s constitution and uplifts us above the rank of anointed Cherubs.
• This manna will upgrade our faith and empower us to stand before the Heavenly Father without fear. 

Jesus Christ will give us a white stone crafted with a hidden name. 

• This white stone is a treasure in the Celestial City. 
• With this precious stone, we can access every realm in the Celestial City. 
• We can travel to the highest heavens with this precious white stone.
• The white stone gives us the spiritual authority to travel to every corner and industry in the Celestial City. 
• The white stone will allow you to see the activities in the lake of fire. With the white stone, your garment will shine like the sun.
• All the angels in heaven will submit to your orders because of the white stone on your crown and garment irrespective of their rank. 

That is your reward in the Celestial City if you repent!
