The Rewards on the Road to the Celestial City (13)
Loved one in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. The Holy Spirit has been revealing some secrets to me in the Spirit. I want to share some of the secrets with you. Anytime the Holy Spirit reveals something to you through dreams, visions, and trance, never take it for granted because there are some lessons in it (Meditate on Job 33:14-18).
Recently, I saw one of
the visions the Holy Spirit revealed to me some years ago. These visions have
manifested in my life. Seeing these visions coming to pass has made me
conscious of my spiritual life because God always reveals to redeem.
When God reveals bad news
to us, He wants us to pray and break that evil plan. Before something happens
in our lives, it already occurred in the spiritual world. The earth we live in
is a manifestation of the spiritual world.
The world we live in now,
which we call the earth, is a playground of the spiritual world. If you joke
with the spiritual laws governing the invisible world, it is to your detriment.
I know what I am writing to you because the Holy Spirit has revealed some of the Kingdom's secret to me.
Before you embark on a
spiritual journey, confirm it from the Holy Spirit and trusted Spirit-filled
leaders (Counsellors). The Holy Spirit speaks to us in several ways. Download
and read my free book, How to Hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit, for more
wisdom keys.
The devil is using wolves
in sheep clothing in these last days to deceive the whole world. Some people acting like Christian leaders are not from God. Their heart is desperately
wicked and far from the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit has
revealed some things to me in the spiritual realm. The Lord has also allowed me
to encounter some of these wolves in sheep clothing in the ministry He has
given me. I speak from my spiritual and ministerial experience. The devil is
real, and he knows his time is near.
I remember I was working
on one of my projects on my laptop when I fell asleep. Immediately I laid my
head on the desk; I became very stiff. I couldn’t move my body. I tried my best
to open my eyes and shake my body, but I couldn’t.
Some people may describe
it as sleep paralysis, but I call it a demonic attack. Whiles I was struggling
in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit opened my spiritual eyes. At the entrance of the
room I was resting, I saw a giant creature that looked like a dragon. It stood
like a human being with two animal legs!
The strange creature had
two large horns and a tail. The face looked like an angry bull and gorilla! It
stood there panting and watching me angrily. I could discern that it wanted to
attack me, but some spiritual forces prevented it from getting closer to me!
In the open vision, I
tried my best to ask who he was, but I couldn’t. It looked like some magnets and ropes were preventing
me from expressing myself. This strange creature kept watching me with hatred,
but it couldn’t hurt me.
As soon as this strange creature
vanished from the entrance of the door, I had the strength to open my physical
eyes and move my body. Later, I realized the devil himself came to attack me,
but God delivered me. Hallelujah!
Eliphaz described the same
experience in the holy scriptures. Meditate on these scriptures.
Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on
men,
Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was
before mine eyes, there was silence…
Job 4:12-16 KJV
The holy scriptures
declare that our adversary,
the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,
so we must be sober,
vigilant
and resist him in the faith (promises of God’s Word). Meditate on these
scriptures for more wisdom keys.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions
are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Peter 5:8-9 KJV
One sign of a false
leader or a leader who is not born again is that they are quick (easily) to judge, condemn, and curse without
considering the whole picture. Jesus Christ declared that false leaders would mislead
innocent souls in the last days, so be careful of who you choose as your spiritual guide and the
“church” you fellowship (Meditate on Matthew chapter twenty-four in the holy scriptures).
Most of the “Christian
leaders” are unmerciful in the heart. They have a stony heart. They only love
their own. Meanwhile, Jesus Christ rebuked his disciples that walked in racism,
partiality, unrighteousness, and favoritism. Meditate on these holy scriptures.
Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be
greatest.
And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set
him by him,
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name
receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he
that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
And John answered and said, Master, we saw one
casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not
with us.
And Jesus said unto him, Forbid
him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
Luke 9:46-50 KJV
Most of the "Spiritual
leaders" we see today only think about their stomach, family, and welfare. Real
leaders of Jesus Christ are concern about the souls in the church and the salvation
(welfare, deliverance, joy, and peace) of the people.
Any leader in the body of
Christ that curses you because of your unconscious mistakes and immaturity is
not from God, or he is not born again. God is a loving Father, and He cries for
lost souls. Jesus Christ needs souls in His kingdom, and it is our
responsibility to win and establish souls in God’s Kingdom (Meditate on
Ezekiel 3:16-21).
In the vision of Apostle
John to the church (leader) in Sardis, Jesus Christ gave out some powerful
revelation. The church in Sardis is a manifestation of today’s church, so don’t
exclude yourself. Jesus Christ is speaking to you as a leader in His vineyard.
And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,
that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard,
and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on
thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are
worthy.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in
white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I
will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
saith unto the churches.
Revelation
3:1-6 KJV
If you study the words of
Jesus Christ, He gave to Apostle John, you would recognize that Jesus always
says, “I know thy works.” Keep in mind that Jesus Christ recognizes every work
you do out of your heart in His kingdom on earth (church).
Jesus Christ reminds us
that we must be watchful (vigilant and stay awake) in the ministry He has given
us because it is crucial. You must strengthen yourself in the Lord through
prayer because you may give up and backslide without spiritual strength.
Jesus Christ further
states that, some people’s work is incomplete. There are workers in the church who does the work of God out of murmuring. Some workers in the house of
God do the kingdom work (evangelism, prayer, church organization, follow up,
intercession, and other important business) with no commitment.
These leaders do the work
of God because they want to please their general overseer in the church. Some
people are doing God’s work because they want a greater position in the church.
Some are doing God’s work because of competition, hunger, and fame.
Jesus Christ knows the
motives of our hearts. We can never hide our motives from the Holy Spirit
because He searches the deepest things of our heart (Meditate on Jeremiah
17:10, 1 Chronicle 28:9, Romans 8:26-27, Revelation 2:23).
You may hide your
intentions from your pastor, leader, husband, wife, friends, children, and neighbors, but you
can never hide your plans from God because He knows what is hidden in your
heart.
This is one reason some people work in the house of God and never receive blessings. These people
are working because their heart is not right with the Holy Spirit. They are working in the
house of God because they want temporal things such as money, cars, homes, and
other perishable items. Jesus Christ is saying, “I have not found thy works perfect before
God.”
Ask yourself these
questions.
- Am I called into God's ministry?
- Can I stand the persecutions of the world? Get my book, Keep Quiet and Let Me Follow Jesus Christ for more wisdom keys.
- Can I stand the persecutions of the hypocrite religious groups?
- Can I sacrifice for Jesus Christ and the church?
- Can I sacrifice for the lost souls?
- Can I pass through the adventures on the road to the Celestial City?
- Is my love for Jesus Christ greater than the love I have for my family and loved ones?
- Can I stand the storms of life?
- Am I ready for spiritual warfare?
- Am I ready for rejection?
- Am I ready for separation?
- Am I ready to walk alone if no one agrees with the call of God on my life at the initial stage?
Child of God, these and
many questions must roll in your soul because Christianity is a spiritual walk,
and this walk demands power, light, knowledge, and wisdom. If you don’t have
the spiritual fortitude, wisdom, knowledge, and anointing, you may not go far.
The people you expect to
support you will be the ones limiting you in life and ministry. Develop faith in God and His
Word because that is the unbreakable foundation. The ministry is a sacrifice.
If you cannot sacrifice your comfort zone for God’s ministry, you are joking.
If you want to enter into
the ministry of God, choose a marriage partner who loves God, you, and the
ministry. Never enter the ministry because you don’t have any work to do. If
you don’t have a love (agape) for souls, you may struggle to fulfill the ministry.
It is the love of Jesus Christ and
souls in your heart that empowers you to move on in the ministry. Any work done
in the house of God outside the faith is dead. God needs people with the heart
of faith because without faith; you cannot walk with God. Without the Spirit of faith, you may not fulfill your ministry (Meditate on Hebrews
11:6).
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you want to prove a point.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you need temporal things such as money, houses, cars, airplane, and mansions.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because of the rumors people are blowing into your soul.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you want fame.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because someone falsely prophesied that you are called into the ministry.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you want to make a living out of it.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because everybody in your jurisdiction is doing it.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you want people to serve you.
- Maybe you are doing God’s work (ministry) because you don’t have a job in life.
Child of God, Jesus
Christ is calling you to repent from dead works. You cannot enter the ministry
of God because of the above reasons. Jesus Christ must call and choose you, and it
is your responsibility to respond to God’s call.
Jesus Christ is calling
us unto holiness. He knows the vessels that have not defiled their
garment with sexual immorality and corruption. The moment you defile yourself,
a stain drops on your white garment.
Jesus Christ promises us in
verse five of Revelation chapter three that “He that overcometh, the same shall be
clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of
life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
Are you ready for the
white garment in the Celestial City? This white raiment is a reward for those
that kept the faith and walked in the holiness of Jesus Christ. Do you
know that Jesus Christ has assigned special angels for you in the Celestial
City? These angels will serve us. They escort us to any region in the Celestial
City! Hallelujah!
