How to Activate the Presence of the Holy Spirit (1)

 

Loved one in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. In this article, I will share with you channels you can use to connect with the Holy Spirit and some ways to activate the Holy Spirit's presence and become sensitive to His voice.

When you are sensitive to the leadership and voice of the Holy Spirit, you can discern the activities of the evil spirit and take responsibility (Meditate on 2 Corinthians 2:11). Understanding the Holy Spirit's systems can help you walk in the footsteps of Christ Jesus.

Below are some ways I follow to walk in the Spirit. These divine principles help me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The principles I have listed here help me as a Christian believer to be vigilant and walk in the footsteps of Christ Jesus.

1.  Building consistent fasting and prayer life.

In my spiritual life, I have realized that it takes Spirit-led fasting and prayers to break certain chains of the wicked one in my life and family. Without fasting and prayers, some demons will always influence you to walk outside the will of God.

Matthew records that a man brought his possessed son full of evil spirits to Christ Jesus disciples for deliverance. These evil spirits tormented this boy with schizophrenia and epilepsy. When this man brought his son to Christ Jesus disciples, they couldn’t deliver him because they were weak in the faith and secondly the demons were stronger (See Matthew 17:14-21).

When Christ Jesus approached the situation, he cast out the boy's demons in a twinkle of an eye. The boy received his healing because Christ Jesus is a man who understands the Spiritual world's systems. When the disciples inquired from Jesus why they couldn’t deliver the boy, He said to them; it takes faith, fasting, and prayers to overcome such a situation. 

Christ Jesus disciples were powerful because they had performed some miracles in their evangelistic work. The disciples lacked the spiritual fortitude to face the boy’s wicked and stronger demons. I believe you remember this lesson.

 

Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Acts 19:13-20 KJV

These vagabonds Jews and exorcists thought they could cast out demons because they saw the disciples of Christ Jesus casting out demons. The demons in the possessed man attacked the sons of Sceva because they could assess their spiritual strength. God has given us power over every force, but spiritual laws are governing the spiritual realm.

Spirit-led fasting and prayers build our spiritual strength. It makes us sharp in the Spirit. If you don’t remember your dreams, I recommend you fast and pray. If you cannot dream, embark on fasting and prayers because Spirit-led fasting and prayer will resurrect your weak spirit and soul. 

When your spirit and soul becomes active in the Spiritual realm, you will remember your dreams. Only fast and pray as led by the Holy Spirit because there are repercussions. One thing Spirit-led fasting does in the believer’s life is that it opens the portal for the spiritual beings to draw closer to us.

People become blind to the spiritual realm's activities because they allow the flesh's desires to control them (Meditate on Galatians 5:16-21). Some Christians are suffering from bulimia because of carnality and demonic attack. When you fast and pray, you weaken the voice of the flesh and empowers the voice of the Holy Spirit in your life.

As the records of the holy scriptures, if we wait upon the Lord through fasting and prayers, the Holy Spirit renews our strength. We fly like eagles in the spiritual realm (Meditate on Isaiah 40:28-31). When we fast and pray, we renew our spiritual strength, gifts, wisdom, and power. It is like sharpening a bald cutlass.

The more we fast and pray, the greater our spirit receive the power to download divine revelation from the Holy Spirit. In the season of fasting and prayers, we break some habits that limit us in the presence of the Holy Spirit. 

Child of God never ignores the power of Spirit-led fasting and prayers because it has numerous benefits. It is one of the spiritual laws you cannot ignore in your Christian and daily life. Know these truths.

• If you want a quick breakthrough and deliverance in your life, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want the Holy Spirit to use you to do more wondrous works in the Kingdom, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want God and His angels to fight the battle for you, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want God’s warrior angels (archangels) to break the chains in your life, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want God to break the chains and spiritual cage, the demons have imprisoned you, embark on Spirit-led fasting.
• If you want the angels of God to deliver you speedily in the Spiritual realm, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to break the witches, wizards, and other minions of the devil activities in your jurisdiction, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to receive the spirit of meekness and walk-in holiness of Christ Jesus, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to know more about Christ Jesus, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to know the Spiritual realm's ways and systems, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to be free from addiction and evil habits, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to understand the purpose of life, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to see angels, and other spiritual forces embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want God to use you mightily in His kingdom, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to grow speedily in the Spiritual realm, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to sharpen and activate the spiritual gifts in your Christian life, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to break the demonic altars, curses, bad dreams, nightmares, and evil foundation in your life and family, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want the body to heal you of some sickness, embark on fasting and prayers.
• If you want to break the habit of bulimia, embark on fasting, and prayers.
• If you want to break the spirit of fear, rejection, depression, and oppression, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you don’t want your enemies' plans to come to pass, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.
• If you want to end the injustice in your life and break the suicidal thoughts, embark on a Spirit lead fasting and prayers.
• If you want to identify and connect with God’s purpose for your life, embark on Spirit-led fasting and prayers.

Child of God, I think this is enough. Follow the truths in this article, and the Holy Spirit will work in your life.
