Christmas is one of the
most controversial Christian celebrations. There are many false facts and misinformation
about Christmas but doesn’t stop this powerful and memorable event.
Although the kingdom of
darkness uses this season to attack many Christians, that doesn’t stop us from
enjoying Christmas. There is a lot of historical information about the
Catholics introducing Christmas to adore strange gods, but that doesn’t stop
us from celebrating Christmas.
We celebrate Christmas to
remember the birth of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. As far as our heart is
pure before God, the Holy Spirit knows we are celebrating Christmas to remember
the Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus, no one can condemn us.
Some people use their
phones to read books whiles others use theirs to play games and do ungodly
things. Others using phones to do ungodly things doesn’t mean the phone is
evil.
If some Christians believe that Christmas is evil, that is their teacup, but as for my followers and me, we are celebrating Christmas from our pure heart. It doesn’t matter the misinformation, people circulate about Christmas.
Let them bring their historical facts, but we
choose to celebrate the birth of my Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus from a pure heart. Whether
Jesus was born on December twenty, fifth or not, we are celebrating the birth of
Jesus from my heart in December.
If the unbelievers can
celebrate their heroes in the night club, what stops us from celebrating our Saviour
in December? Indeed, the word Christmas is not found in the holy scriptures,
but there is a reference to Jesus birth.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When
as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was
found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and
not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the
angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of
David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in
her is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call
his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is,
God with us.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel
of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her
firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Matthew 1:18-25 KJV
Christ the Anointed One, Jesus the Saviour of the World is the KING of KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. We choose to celebrate Him. We can celebrate Christmas every day, but in this case, all Christians are coming together to celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus in December.
As you celebrate the birth of our Saviour and
Lord in this Christmas season, be wise, vigilant, sober, and sensitive because the enemy can use
this season to attack you if your spiritual armor is uncovered. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Jesus
is Lord! Halleluiah!
Below are some of my favourite Christmas songs. Enjoy!
