Loved one in Christ
Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. This is lesson
nine on my teachings, divine principles of spiritual warfare. Child of God,
don’t play with spiritual laws because it works on the earth realm.
Many people live like
slaves in this world because they have ignored the battle Satan and his cohorts
are waging against them. Some people become hopeless and give up because they
have failed to dominate the spiritual realm activities.
Whether you believe or
not, if the altars in your family decide to fight you and you ignore because
you are educated, wealthy or famous, you become a prisoner. I have realized in
life that the devil is not a respecter of persons.
The fact that you are
in the United States of America, Nigeria, Germany, South Africa, Mexico, India,
or any other country does not exempt you from spiritual attacks. You may come
from Ghana and migrate to Canada; the spiritual forces in Ghana can fight you in
Canada because the distance is not a limitation in the spiritual realm.
Some people think when
they travel outside their country, they will bypass the spiritual attacks in
their family and country. Others believe by acquiring school degrees, Masters
and PhD’s the devil will exempt them from spiritual attack.
Some people have the
best educational certificates, yet they live in poverty, affliction and fear.
You must understand that every country has special spiritual powers controlling
the jurisdiction. In Africa, witchcraft is rampant. The witches in Africa love
to kill, destroy and cause poverty. Most of the European countries' witches use
their powers to control the government, build deadly weapons and promote
ungodly programs.
Witchcraft is in
categories and levels. The higher you climb up, the greater your wickedness. Witches,
wizards, sorcerers, necromancers, Satanists, occult, and other agents of the
devil desire to destroy humankind's race.
This is one reason I am
writing this article to enable you to dominate their devices. Christ Jesus came
to destroy the devil's works, and it is our responsibility to break all the
devices of the enemy. Failure to study the principles of spiritual warfare
makes you an imbecile in God's kingdom.
Do you know some people
belonging to the kingdom of darkness fast occasionally to receive spiritual power?
These wicked agents use these powers to fight the Christian believers. If you
are ignorant of the devil’s devices, you will always fall prey to his traps.
I don’t want you to
become a prisoner in the enemy’s kingdom. God wants you to live peacefully
whiles the kingdom of darkness wants you to live in misery. If you don’t take
responsibility, the kingdom of darkness will take advantage of you.
The kingdom of darkness
knows that many Christians are ignorant of the enemy's devices. They know that
many Christians cannot see into the spiritual realm, so they use this weakness
to attack them.
In this article, I will
use David and Goliath's lesson recorded in the Holy Scriptures to help you understand
some divine principles in spiritual warfare.
David, the son of
Jesse, was a shepherd to his father's sheep. He was the youngest among Jesse's
children. David did something incredible, and I want to use David's strategy
and how he defeated Goliath (symbol of the devil) to help you dominate the
enemy's devices.
Goliath, a champion of
the Philistine, boasted against Israel that he needed a man to fight. He was a
man who fought from his youth, so he was an experienced warrior. This warrior
insulted the God of Israel because King Saul and the Israelites were afraid to fight
him.
And as he talked with
them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by
name, out of the Philistines' armies, and spake according to the same words:
and David heard them.
And all the men of
Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.

Goliath conquered king Saul
and the Israelites through his words to the stage where all the men of Israel
fled from the battleground and became terrified. We must understand that before
the devil attacks, he speaks words to make us fearful.
The moment we become
fearful, the devil dominates. The devil uses the spirit of fear to break our
heart and make us hopeless. Fear is one of the greatest weapons of the enemy.
The moment you allow fear to conquer you in the spiritual realm, you have lost
the battle in the spirit.
The enemy can never
dominate you until he uses the weapon of fear. If you allow the spirit of fear
to conquer you in the spirit, you have given the enemy the license to dominate
you and those connected to you. When Jesse, the son of Boaz, sent David to
deliver some food to his brethren and Israelites, Eliab (David’s brother) tried
to discourage David.
And Eliab his eldest brother
heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David,
and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those
few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine
heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
And David said, What
have I now done? Is there not a cause?

Most often, the devil
will use those closest to us to discourage us in the Lord. The devil can trigger
your loved ones' emotions to fight you because he knows God has invested some
power in you that can destroy his plans.
David did not allow the
words of Eliab to destroy his faith. Child of God never allow the words of your
loved ones to destroy your faith in the Lord. If you allow your loved ones'
destructive words and criticism to destroy your faith, you cannot win the
battle the Lord has set for you.
It takes a strong heart
(boldness and courage) to stand with God. Your family and friends may
humiliate, slander, insult and falsely accuse you because the devil can use them
as instruments to destroy your faith.
The devil knows how
words can affect our soul (desire, emotions, intellect and will). If you don’t
conquer the destructive words of those around you with God’s Word, the devil
has won. David stood firm in his faith. He believed in the power of God.
He did not allow the
words of Goliath (the devil) to dominate his faith. David’s faith made king
Saul believe that Goliath can be defeated. King Saul dressed David in a helmet
of brass to cover his head, armour and armed him with a mail coat.
David took off king
Saul’s covering because he knew God was his protector, and secondly, he was not
used to those protective shields. You must understand that God’s protection is
above humankind’s security.
Sometimes I marvel when
ministers of God uses bodyguards as a protection shield in their home and
ministries. Servant of God, you don’t need security guards when facing the
enemy because archangels are protecting you.
One angel is greater
than the whole army of the USA, Ghana, China, India and any country you can
think of. It took a night for an angel to kill the firstborn of every Egyptian.
Imagine the angel's
swiftness as he moved about in Egypt, killing the firstborn of the Egyptians.
The angel has to enter each house and search for the firstborn and search for
the Egyptians' firstborn animals.
This should let you
understand that God’s protection is enough on earth and in spiritual warfare.
David reminded king Saul of God’s wonders in the bush. God gave David the
strength to fight and kill lions and bears. The lion and the bear were symbols
of Goliath and the Philistines.
God was preparing David
for the battle. Child of God, don't be discouraged because you are going
through some pain, rejection, and afflictions (Meditate on 2 Corinthians
11:25-28). God is training you for the battle. Without that preparation, you
cannot defeat the Goliath on the way.
King Saul warned David
of Goliath’s experience and ferocity, yet David did not give up. Sometimes some
experienced people may warn you not to venture into the journey God has set for
you because of their adventures.
Their experience may be
true. What is God saying? Will you allow the experience of someone to destroy
your faith in God's Word? King Saul looked at the height, strength and
experience of Goliath, but David looked at the strength of the Lord.
The enemy may look
stronger than you. You may find yourself in a situation all your hope and faith
may be lost. The evidence may show you cannot get that job, marriage, favour,
healing, financial support, and breakthrough.
Child of God, I have
good news for you. God is above all. No problem or challenge is above Christ
Jesus. Whiles others are complaining, look at God's greatness, power, mercy,
love, and sovereignty.
The professional group
may have finalized that there is no hope of recovery. The Judges may have
passed the final judgment. The doctors may have signed your death certificate.
The school authority may have written you off. The enemy may look stronger than
you.
Never allow the
strength of the enemy to destroy your faith. Conquer the evidence of the
doctor, lawyer, politician, businessman, and boss with the Word (promises
recorded in the Holy Scriptures) because that is our source of strength.
Conquer the spirit of fear with faith because, with God, all things are
possible.
It may be impossible
with men, but with God, all things are possible (See Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27).
The enemy's evidence may outnumber your proof. Hold unto the Word because
nothing can break the Word of God.
Maybe you have lost all
hope because everyone has given up on you; the Word will never fail you. If you
don’t take hold of God’s Word, you open the door for the enemy to attack.
And he took his staff
in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in
a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand:
and he drew near to the Philistine.

David took his staff
and five smooth stones. David took Jesus in his heart. Jesus represents the
five stones. David faced the Philistine with Jesus. Anytime you enter into
spiritual battle, make sure Jesus is with you. Entering the battlefield without Jesus is suicidal.
And the Philistine came
on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before
him.
And when the Philistine
looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and
ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

Goliath despised David
because he was a young man. The enemy may despise you because of your age,
family, educational level, country, tribe, financial status, and structure.
Don’t allow the mockery of the enemy to limit your faith in God.
Anytime the devil and
his minions attack your mind, there are paving a way to defeat you in the
Spirit. Don’t allow the rejection, mockery, false accusations, and gossip to
trigger you to sin because it is a trap.
Many Christians fall
prey when the enemy attacks them through words. They respond with insults and
other offensive words and become slaves in the enemy’s prison. Guard your heart
with God’s Word.
Train your spirit and
soul to a stage; the insults, slander, mockery, false accusation, humiliation
and abuses of the enemy will not trigger you to sin. The moment you reply to the
enemy with insults, he has conquered you in the spirit.
And the Philistine said
unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine
cursed David by his gods.
And the Philistine said
to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and
to the beasts of the field.

Goliath cursed David by
his gods. This means Goliath wins his battles with the help of his gods. These
gods were wicked demons who defended the Philistines in warfare. Child of God,
never joke with curses because it works.
Curses are one of the
greatest weapons the enemy uses against Christians. Some people imagine curses
in their heart. Some write their curses. Some pronounce curses on materials.
Others visit evil
traditional priest, witches, sorcerers, wizards, necromancers, Satanists, and
other strange forces to enable these wicked agents issue curses on people, so
be mindful of curses in life.
Goliath knew the power
of curses, so he dominated the victory in the spiritual realm by cursing David
with his gods. Goliath decreed that he
will give David's flesh to the fowls of the air and the beast of the field.
David knew the power of words, so he countered the curses of Goliath by these
statements.
Then said David to the
Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a
shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the
armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
This day will the LORD
deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from
thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto
the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth
may know that there is a God in Israel.
And all this assembly
shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the
LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.

David decreed that he
is coming against Goliath and the gods of the Philistine with the LORD of the
host. David decreed victory in the spiritual realm. He prophesied that he would
kill Goliath, cut his head, and deliver the lifeless body of Goliath to the
fowls of the air and the wild beast of the earth.
David activated God's
elements (earth, air, water, and fire) to attack Goliath and the gods of the
Philistines when he mentioned the LORD Of host in the battle. David faced
Goliath with the God of Israel and not by his strength. Never enter spiritual
warfare by your strength, or else God cannot fight for you.
Anytime you enter into
spiritual warfare, overturn the curses of satanic agents and command the
elements of God to attack forces of darkness.
Failure to speak into the atmosphere makes you vulnerable
in the spiritual realm. If David failed to call on God in the battle, the
curses of Goliath and gods of the Philistine would overshadow David. Until you
win the battle in the spiritual realm, you can never experience victory in the
earth realm.
Anytime you are about
to enter into a contract, spiritual battleground, city, ministry, business,
career, school, marriage, and friendship, take dominion in the spiritual realm
before taking action in the earth realm.
