How to Activate the Presence of the Holy Spirit (3)

Loved one in Christ Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. In my previous articles, I explained that it takes prayer, fasting, worship, and praises to activate the presence of the Holy Spirit.

This article will reveal to you one practical way to make the Holy Spirit influential in your life. Most often, some Christians develop strange strategies to attract the presence of the Holy Spirit. Some allow their emotions and imaginations to control them thinking the Holy Spirit is the one leading them.

Others allow the thoughts of their flesh, friends, family, and enemies to dominate them. When this happens, they suppress the leadership and presence of the Holy Spirit in their life. Before Moses could venture into the land of Egypt as a deliverer, He desired the presence of God (Holy Spirit) because He knew the Egyptian’s dark powers.

Without the presence of the Holy Spirit, the enemy will always have an advantage over you. When the Holy Spirit is active in your life, your spiritual life becomes enjoyable. You will not struggle to walk in the will of God because the Holy Spirit will show you God’s plan.

People step outside the will of God and become slaves of the devil because the Holy Spirit is inactive in their life. These people perform some religious rights to appease their perverted minds, yet they feel empty in their hearts.

One sign the Holy Spirit is active in your life is that you will always feel joyful, peaceful, and grateful to the Lord in all circumstances (Meditate on Galatians 5:22-23). You may be going through some storms in life, but those storms will not destroy your faith because the Holy Spirit is with you and in you.

If the Holy Spirit is active in your life, your enemies will find it challenging to destroy you. Sworn enemies who visit shrines use strange mediums to monitor Christian believers and unbelievers.

They consult higher demonic powers to destroy us. Black, white and red witches, vicious occult groups, Satanists, and Secret societies work through human agents, project charms, curses and formulate destructive policies to destroy Christian believers and unbelievers in secret places.

One guaranteed protection a Christian can rely on is the presence of the Holy Spirit. In my surrounding, I try best to make the Holy Spirit active because I know evil spirits can hide in buildings, animal's, human beings, objects, trees, and atmospheres.

If the Holy Spirit is inactive in your surroundings, the devil and his cohorts will always dominate you in the Spirit. You must take charge in the Spirit. It is like a soldier entering a battlefield. The soldier enters the battleground fearless because he has all his ammunition (guns, grenades, enemies map, knife, water, and food) on him.

That is how the Holy Spirit works in our lives. If the Holy Spirit is active in your life, you have what it takes to dominate the enemy and walk in victory. The presence of the Holy Spirit makes the angels of God active in your life.

The Holy Spirit will surround you with His fire when He is with you. He will alert you of impending danger. The Holy Spirit can make you uncomfortable in dangerous situations. Sometimes you will feel uncomfortable in your heart in a particular season.

When this happens, the Holy Spirit is alerting you to pray (most often, in tongues). It may be that someone close to you is in danger. That neighbor of yours needs prayer. In my Christian life, the Holy Spirit has several ways of speaking to me.

When I become uncomfortable in my spirit, it means I must pray in tongues. It may also mean that my neighbor or someone precious to me is in a dangerous zone, so I must intercede for that person.

Other times too, my heart can beat faster. When my heart beats abnormally, it means someone is in danger; I must enforce some prophetic declarations. When I’m about to pray, the Holy Spirit can lead me to worship and praise.

Other times too, I pray in tongues for hours. Whiles, I am praying, the Holy Spirit can reveal something to me. The Holy Spirit can place a burden on me.

When the burdens fall on me, it means I must fast and pray. Almost every midnight, the Holy Spirit wakes me up to pray. If something terrible is about to happen, the Holy Spirit reveals them to me through dreams, visions, trance, and discernment.

The Holy Spirit has trained me to the extent that I can discern if an evil spirit is present or an angel of God is present. I can pass through a neighborhood and discern the principality operating in such an environment.

I don’t struggle to operate in the prophetic because the Holy Spirit has trained me. The Holy Spirit can reveal Himself to you if you know how to activate His presence. He can show you His systems if you know the principles that govern His kingdom.

This is one reason I am writing this article to help you know more about the Holy Spirit. You can read my series of books for more profound revelations.

If you follow the truths in this article, the Holy Spirit will be active in your life. Below is one of the master keys to help you activate the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. I practice them in my life because they are biblical, and they work.

Disassociate from Hardened Sinners and Connect with Spirit-Filled Christians

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV

Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth not to equally unite with the people who do not believe in Christ Jesus because they can prevent us from associating with the Holy Spirit. Most unbelievers operate with strange spirits.

When you always agree with their decisions, you can miss the Holy Spirit and become a vagabond. The unbelievers walk and live with a corrupt mindset, so they will corrupt you morally, spiritually, and emotionally anytime you equally associate with them.

These people walk in total darkness. Evil spirits control most of these people. The unbelievers only walk and live by their five senses. We (Christian believers) walk and live beyond the five senses. We walk by faith (See 2 Corinthians 5:7).

The unbelievers will never believe until they see. They mock the Christian leaders and Christian faith to lead the Church astray anytime Christians agree with them. Apostle Paul declared that,

…the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV

The unbelievers cannot understand the things of the Spirit because it sounds foolish to them. Anytime you share with them the things the Holy Spirit has revealed to you, they will mock you and make you reject His leadership.

Walking with the unbelievers requires divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. If you don't apply knowledge, the unbelievers will corrupt your good manners and make you backslide.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV

Sometimes in the workplace, lecture hall, church premises, recreational centers, and homes, these people can influence you to embark on evil assignments. Some unbelievers can influence you to attend night clubs, fornicate, watch porn videos, listen to ungodly music, read erotic books and corrupt the system.

Child of God, if you don’t reject such advice and disassociate from them in wisdom, they will corrupt your morals, character, and faith. One thing about the unbelievers and some "Christians" (carnal, religious, and soulish) is that they can make the Holy Spirit sorrowful in your life.

…grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption

Ephesians 4:30 KJV

When you allow the decisions of the unbelievers to dominate you, you suppress the voice, leadership, and presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. Anytime you share spiritual experiences with the unbelievers, they will scorn you (Meditate on Psalms 1:1-3).

When this happens, you will always want to please your friends (unbelievers) and reject the leadership of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is jealous (holy anger). He cannot share you with people who reject His leadership.

I hardly make friends with hardened unbelievers because I know their impact on my spiritual life. The only time I draw closer to the unbelievers is when the Holy Spirit leads me to them. Either I share the Word of God with them or pray with them.

Demons and evil spirits lived in some unbelievers and professed "Christians," so anytime you equally yoke with them, the spirit in them can access you. You create an ungodly soul tie with them.

Get me right; I am not teaching you to disassociate with unbelievers permanently. How can we preach to them if we don't befriend them? The point is that we must not equally unite with them as the Holy Scriptures declare in the book of second Corinthians chapter six verses fourteen.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV

  • You only associate with unbelievers when the Holy Spirit leads you.
  • Connect with unbelievers if you are strong in the Lord.
  • Associate with unbelievers if you want to preach the gospel to them.
  • Associate with the unbelievers if you want to pray for them.

We cannot equally unite with hardened unbelievers because every man (includes women) has a spirit following him (Meditate on Matthew 18:10).

If that person carries evil spirits and you associate with him or her, the spirit in that person or the aura around the person can affect you. This is one reason Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth that he that fornicates with a harlot or womanizer becomes one with the person (See 1 Corinthians 6:15-16).

Through that relationship, you create an emotional, spiritual, blood, and psychological covenant. You can download my free book for more profound revelations. This is one reason Samson could not resist the traps of Delilah (See Judges 16:1-17).

Samson created an ungodly soul tie with Delilah through that relationship. You can read my books, The Mysteries of Sexual Purity, How to Walk and Live in the Spirit, How to Activate the Anointing of Gladness, and The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail for more profound revelations.

Jonathan became one with David after David killed Goliath. The Holy Scriptures declares in first Samuel chapter eighteen verses one that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved David as his own soul.

The godly soul tie was so strong that Jonathan and David made a covenant (See 1 Samuel 18:1-4). David and Jonathan were not gays as some people perceive. Child of God, the friend you make has a great impact on your life.

If that person is a hardened sinner, it will affect your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Stephen died at the hands of the Libertines, Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and some sect of Jews because they stoned him to death.

The Holy Scriptures records that Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit and power. These religious unbelievers and hardened sinners resisted the Holy Spirit with all their hearts, so they falsely accused Stephen and murdered him in cold blood. Stephen declared that these people resisted the Holy Spirit.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Acts 7:51 KJV

People who hate the Christian faith oppose the Holy Spirit and Spirit-filled Christians in their hearts and actions. If you allow such people in your life, they will resist the Holy Spirit and silence His leadership in your life.

Sometimes I feel heavy and uncomfortable in my heart and body when I draw near environments, people, and materials that oppose the Holy Spirit. Apply wisdom if you want to maintain the Holy Spirit in your life because the hardened sinners can dominate you with their corrupted spirit. Apply the wisdom of the Word anytime you encounter strange people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV

Apostle Paul concludes that we must separate from such people (hardened unbelievers) and refrain from accursed materials, and the Holy Spirit will receive us. We are not wiser than the Word of God.

If you want the Holy Spirit to walk with you, create some gap for the hardened unbelievers and professed “Christians.” People who have permanently decided to walk outside the domain of Christ Jesus must be far from you.

The only time you draw closer to them is when the Holy Spirit commands you to reach out to them to receive the gospel. Make friends with people who are full of the Holy Spirit and the Word.

When you associate with people full of the Holy Spirit, you create a godly soul tie. The spiritual Christian will sharpen you in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit in that person will affect your spiritual life because you have connected with him in the Spirit and soul.

When the connection takes place, the Holy Spirit will become active in your Christian life. (Meditate on Proverbs 27:17).

  • Who influences you?
  • What books do you read?
  • What kind of video do you watch?
  • What kind of music do you listen to?

If you want the Holy Spirit to surround you, be selective with your friends, books, videos, and music because your eye, ear, mouth, mind, and nose are gates to your spirit and soul. My close friends are my Holy Bible, books, Holy Spirit, and Spirit-filled Christians because they open the door for me to access the Spirit of God.
