How God Judges Cases: Understanding the ways of God in the Courts of Heaven (3)
Loved one in Christ
Jesus, I believe you are growing in the strength of the Lord. In my previous article, I explained that
God judges cases based on the Word (Holy Scriptures). I will throw more light
on that point for more wisdom keys. In the book of Jeremiah, God emphasized
that He will hasten to perform the Word.
…I will hasten my word
to perform it.
Jeremiah
1:12 KJV
God is more concerned
with His Word than our words. Anytime we pray according to God’s Word, He responds.
If you want the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to honor your request, speak
His Word to Him.
When God sees His Word
in your heart and tongue, He will respond. God does not delay when it comes to
His Word. Like a cat that sees a mouse, the cat will continuously pursue the
mouse no matter its innocence. When God sees you declaring, decreeing,
confessing, and professing the Word to Him with absolute faith, He will respond.
For I am the LORD: I will
speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more
prolonged…
Ezekiel
12:25 KJV
Declaring the Word is
like reminding God of His promise. The Word (logos) is like an image of God.
When you view yourself in front of a mirror, you see a reflection (image) of
your body. That is how God sees the Word.
When we speak the Word
to God, God sees Himself within the Word. The Word can counter every human and spiritual
being's words (curses and plans). Your duty is to speak the Word with faith and
godly motive, and God will perform it.
…Thus saith the Lord
GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I
have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel
12:28 KJV
Some Israelites became
rebellious, and God declared that He would surely fulfill the Word that He has
spoken. God declared that He would not keep long in His Word. Whatever He (God)
has said, it will surely manifest.
In the courts of
Heaven, the Heavenly Father, His Son (Christ Jesus), and the Holy Spirit decide
on the Word. As long as your case agrees with the Word, God and His angels will
stand by your side.
Decide always to align
yourself with God's Word, and He will stand by you in all circumstances. Kindly read the previous article for
more profound revelations. Most often, when I climb up to one of the temporal
prayer grounds (an uncompleted five-storey building in koforidua) and observe
the skies, mountains, animals, and other creatures of God, I marvel at God’s greatness.
Child of God, find a
solitary place, and think about God’s greatness. Observe nature, and you will
believe in the existence and greatness of God (Yahweh). The more you observe creation,
your mind connects with the Supernatural Creator (Jesus the Christ).
In this article, I will
share with you one of the contributing systems in God’s kingdom. Knowing this truth will help you in your
Christian walk.
The Relevance and Obedience of an Individual are some of the Ways God Uses to Make Decisions in the Courts of Heaven.
And God spake all these
words, saying,
I am the LORD thy God,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no
other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make
unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven
above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth.
Thou shalt not bow down
thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generation of them that hate me;
And shewing mercy unto
thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Exodus
20:1-6 KJV
God reminded the
Israelites that He shows mercy to those that love Him and keep His commandments.
This means the mercies of God are conditional. God's mercies are new every
morning, but it is selective.
If you walk in the
obedience of the Word and love Him from your heart, God's grace and mercies
come upon your life and extend to your family. The love of God differs from
worldly love. We exhibit God’s love by obeying His Word, loving our neighbors,
evangelizing, and establishing souls in the kingdom (Meditate on John 14:15 and
John 21:15-17).
God created all things,
but He is interested in some people. As the Holy Scriptures declare, God shows
mercy unto people that love Him and obey His Word (See Exodus 20:6). If you are
not a dedicated worker in the house of God, God's love and mercies fall in your
life.
If you want to attract
the heart of God, be concern about the kingdom's work (Meditate on Matthew 6:25-33,
Romans 10:15). When God sees that you are doing something to build His kingdom
on earth, He will be interested in your case.
When the enemy comes in
to attack you like a flood, the Spirit of God will lift a standard against him
because you are a treasure in His kingdom. Doing the work of God builds God’s
protection in your life and those connected to you.
When God sees that you are
evangelizing, interceding for people, and establishing souls into the church, He
will do anything in His power to defend you. In the book of Romans, Apostle Paul writes a
profound Word.
As it is written, Jacob
have I loved, but Esau have I hated
Romans
9:13 KJV
Jacob and Esau were
twin brothers and sons of Isaac (Patriarch). Esau was the eldest of Isaac’s sons,
but God chose to love Jacob and hated Esau. Although their birth was prophesied
and recorded in the book of Malachi, God decided to love Jacob because Jacob was
more concerned about the kingdom's work.
The hatred in the
context of the Holy Scriptures (Romans 9:13) does not mean God rejected Esau.
The hatred of God differs from humankind hatred. God's hatred is rooted in
holiness and righteousness.
In the books of Heaven,
Esau was to serve Jacob. Esau was not concerned about the kingdom's work. Esau
allowed the things of the world to dominate him. Jacob was concerned about
God’s work.
He was relevant in the
kingdom of God, and God chose to love Him. It was through Jacob that we got the
name Israel. Jacob valued God's work from his heart, and Esau devalued God's
work, so God decided to favor Jacob (Israel) and disfavor Esau. In Romans chapter
nine, Paul further states,
What shall we say then?
Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
For he saith to Moses,
I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom
I will have compassion.
So then it is not of
him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Romans
9:14-16 KJV
Apostle Paul explains that
God is righteous. God cannot and will not do evil. The Holy Spirit cannot
permit God the Father and His Son (Christ Jesus) to do evil because of His
Holiness. God chooses to show compassion, mercy, favor, and blessings to those
relevant in His kingdom.
Therefore, if you want
God to pour His blessings on you and defend you, be concern about things that
glorify Him, and He will be on your side. Know these truths.
- If you want God to stand with you in the spiritual and earthly realm, walk in the obedience of the Word.
- If you want God to fight for you, love Christ Jesus, His children, and His creatures with all your heart.
- If you want God to defend you in the courts of heaven, concentrate on the kingdom work.
- If you want the Holy Spirit to pour the anointing on your life, obey the Word of God with your heart.
- If you want your enemy's work to become void, concentrate on the work of God with all your heart.
- If you want God’s power, mercies and gifts, concentrate on His work with all your heart.
Ask yourself,
- What are my contributions to the kingdom of God?
- How relevant am I in God’s kingdom?
- How does God see me?
- Can the church progress without my presence?
- What am I doing to expand the gospel on earth?
Child of God, your contribution
counts! Like Abraham, God chose him because He saw his relevance, faith, and
obedience in the kingdom.
And the LORD said,
Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
Seeing that Abraham
shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth
shall be blessed in him?
For I know him, that he
will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the
way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon
Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Genesis
18:17-19 KJV
God knew Abraham was a
man of prayer and faith, so He preserved his life from the family's idol. Like
Noah, God had mercy on Noah’s family because he walked in obedience.
And it came to pass,
when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born
unto them,
That the sons of God
saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all
which they chose.
And the LORD said, My
spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is esh: yet his days
shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in
the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto
the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty
men which were of old, men of renown.
And God saw that the
wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the
LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And the LORD said, I
will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and
beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me
that I have made them.
But Noah found grace in
the eyes of the LORD.
These are the
generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and
Noah walked with God.
Genesis
6:1-9 KJV
We can see in the Holy
Scriptures that Noah was a righteous man, and because of his innocence and
integrity, God showed him mercy. He escaped from the wrath of God because of
his righteousness.
Child of God, your
obedience and relevance count in the courts of heaven. Some Christian believers
think Christ Jesus death and resurrection has canceled the righteousness
lifestyle of the kingdom.
Many Christians are
ignorant that Christ Jesus came with grace and truth (See John 1:17). Grace
without truth (obedience of the Word) is an error. The two (grace and truth)
must work together. Some people use the
grace of God as a license to sin willfully.
That is not the true
grace of God. The grace of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus teaches us to live
in the light of the Word (See Romans chapter six and Titus chapter two in the
Holy Scriptures or get my book, How to
Walk and Live in the Spirit for more profound revelations).
When you receive the garment
(righteousness) of Christ Jesus, you must walk in His footsteps (righteousness).
The grace of God does not teach us to live in willful sin. The grace of God
gives us the power to live in holiness and pursue the righteousness of the
kingdom.
Child of God, if you
want God to stand by side, become relevant in the kingdom. Like Hezekiah (king
of Judah), He reminded God of his good deeds in the season of pain.
In those days was
Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him,
and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou
shalt die, and not live.
Then Hezekiah turned
his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
And said, Remember now,
O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect
heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
Then came the word of
the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
Go, and say to
Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy
prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days _fteen years.
And I will deliver thee
and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this
city.
And this shall be a
sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath
spoken;
Behold, I will bring
again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz,
ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was
gone down.
The writing of Hezekiah
king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:
Isaiah
38:1-9 KJV
Hezekiah reminded God
of his good deeds (destroying the evil idols in Judah and advancing the kingdom)
in a heartfelt and sorrowful prayer. The king reminded God of his faithfulness
whiles praying, and God added fifteen years to his age.
One reason God
delivered Hezekiah from sickness and death is because of Hezekiah's righteous deeds and righteousness
lifestyle. Child of God, your relevance in the church and obedience to God’s
Word counts in the kingdom of God.
If you want to win
God’s favor in the courts of Heaven, become a dedicated worker, serve the Lord
and the church from your heart, and live in holiness. God and His angels will
always stand by you in the courts of Heaven when you follow these divine truths.
