Is it True That Once Saved Always Saved (The Process of Salvation) – 2
Life is a seed. The seed
you sow will determine the harvest (joy, peace, and reactions from the world).
People go through life expecting seeds (peace, joy, and blessings); meanwhile,
they have not sown any seed.
Until the earth receives a seed (prayer, fasting, tithes and other essential ingredients), it cannot germinate. It doesn’t matter how weak or strong you are; the seed you sow is the harvest you will reap (Meditate on Galatians 6:7).
God has programmed the earth to produce and multiply the seeds of humankind. Like a woman, she cannot get pregnant until she receives her husband's seed (semen). Although some scientists and researchers have several ways of making women get pregnant.
Humankind must follow God’s
divine principles because using evil ways to break God’s principles unleashes His anger. I have realized in life that most people use their bad
experiences to create life principles.
We must be careful not to only use life experience to train others. Although we can learn from the experience
of others, the Word (Holy Scriptures) is the best and trusted principle we can
rely on.
The Word of God is
exceedingly trustworthy than the experience of humankind because all things
will pass away, but the Word will never pass away (Meditate on Matthew 24:35). Some
people walk outside the will of God and experience misfortunes in life.
Some people teach that
experience is the best teacher. Experience has its advantage and disadvantage.
The moment we uplift life experience above the Word of God, we become God’s
enemies.
God expects us to trust
in His Word and act on them, not on visions, prophecies, human experiences, philosophies, and the
uninspired wisdom of humankind. Solomon, one of the wisest men that ever walked
on this earth wrote, there is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end is
destruction (See Proverbs 16:25).
The Word is our source of
light (See Psalms 119:105). Any wisdom, prophecies, vision, and human
experience that challenges the Word of God is false. God the Father and Holy
Spirit always agree with the Word (See 1 John 5:7-8).
Any revelation that has
no root in God’s Word is questionable. We must put all our trust and faith in
the Word because heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word will never pass
away. Experience of humankind, visions, and prophecies has a short life span,
but the Word stands forever.
Human experience and
knowledge fail as the world enters new spheres. Today, the internet, technology,
and several discoveries are taking place. We cannot use the human experience,
knowledge, and wisdom of the seventeenth century in this century because that
knowledge and human experience have expired.
Today, robots, artificial
intelligence, and technology are performing many human roles. If you don’t study and apply wisdom,
you might think God is against you, but the truth is, you lack knowledge. As
the Holy Scriptures declare, “lack of knowledge leads to destruction.”
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…
Hosea 4:6 KJV
Failure
to acquire knowledge makes you vulnerable to the deception of the enemy.
When you are ignorant, anybody can deceive and manipulate you. Develop a habit
of reading relevant books and articles because knowledge comes from information.
The more you read, you increase in power, authority, and worth. In my article, the role of knowledge and power in the field of fruitful leadership, I enumerated some wisdom keys. You can read that article for more profound revelations.
One thing you must
realize about life is that your level of wisdom and knowledge determines your decisions.
If you have nothing substantial in your mind, you become a slave and victim of
destruction.
The wisdom you carry will
determine the choice you make. Love wisdom and knowledge with all your heart because they can shape
your future and build you into a fixed asset. Your knowledge and wisdom determine
your net worth so, pursue knowledge with all your heart (Meditate on Proverbs 8:11, 1 Timothy 4:13, Hosea 4:6, 2 Timothy 2:15). Know these these truths.
- If you have nothing fruitful in your mind, the kingdom of darkness and enemies will bombard you with suicidal thoughts.
- Depression will set in if you have nothing significant in your mind.
- The devil and his agents will find work for you if you have nothing substantial in your head.
- Anybody can deceive you with false promises if you have nothing significant in your head.
In some churches, the leaders teach about eternal salvation (once saved, always saved). That is, you can never lose salvation once you receive Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
This doctrine (once saved,
always saved) makes many Christian believers walk and live in darkness. Because
of this error, I will share my opinions and use the Holy
Scriptures as my foundation of truth.
In my previous article, I wrote some essential truths. Kindly read that article for more profound revelations. In this article, I will write in detail the doctrine of once saved always saved and explain to you why the Word (Holy Scriptures) disapproves it.
I will further prove to you from the Holy Scriptures that Christ Jesus and His apostles disagree with the doctrine of once saved always saved. Have you asked yourself why the Romans, gentiles, and Jews (some religious unbelievers) crucified our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus with the two men in the hill and city of Calvary (Golgotha)?
As I thought of the two
men who stood with Christ Jesus on the mountain of skulls, the Holy Spirit
revealed that the two men the Romans and religious people crucified with Christ Jesus were symbols
of the human spirit and soul.
The Lord also revealed to
me that the two men beside Christ Jesus were symbols of the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit
standing with our Saviour and Lord in the realms of the spirit. In the natural, the men
represented sinners, but in the spiritual realm, they represented the Trinity.
The death of the Son
(Christ Jesus) created an eternal relationship and fellowship between humankind
and the Trinity. The two men beside Christ Jesus were also symbols of the human soul and body seeking salvation with the human spirit (Christ Jesus dying for the human spirit).
Christ Jesus worked on
the salvation of the human spirit. The salvation of the human spirit without
the human soul and body is incomplete. God revealed the salvation of the human soul and body to humankind using the two men,
but people did not recognize it.
Child of God, Christ Jesus
saved our spirit because the day Adam and Eve disobeyed the Heavenly Father,
their spirit was cut off from the Trinity. Their soul became independent of the
Holy Spirit.
Their body could no
longer eat from the tree of life. Sin opened a portal for the spirit of death
to break the human spirit relationship with the Holy Spirit and angelic beings.
Christ Jesus came to reconcile our (human spirit) relationship with the Holy Spirit with His precious blood.
Through the blood of
Christ Jesus, the human spirit received eternal restoration. This restoration
opened the portal for the human spirit to commune with the Trinity with no
limitation. We had no power to save our spirit.
The blood of Christ Jesus
opened the portal for the Holy Spirit to live in the human spirit of man with
no limitation. You can read my series of books for more profound revelations. The Holy Spirit cannot live in sinful vessels
and environments because of His holiness.
Until the human soul
receives and follows the light of the Word, the body walks in darkness. This is
one reason some Christians are full of jealousy, wickedness, pride, and other grave evil. Because
their soul has not received salvation, evil spirits control it.
The Holy Spirit has no
control over their soul, so they walk in darkness, yet their spirit is saved. When
a Christian believer dies in this state, that is, when a Christian believer has
received the salvation of Christ Jesus (redemption of the human spirit) and has not worked on his soul (salvation of the human soul), his saved spirit returns to
the Holy Spirit. His unsaved or corrupted soul faces the wrath of God on judgment day. Kindly read my previous article for better understanding and meditate on these Holy
Scriptures on Matthew 7:21-23, Matthew 26:31-46).
When one receives Christ Jesus and works on his soul (salvation of the human soul) and body (redemption of the human body), his saved spirit unites with his sanctified soul to meet Christ Jesus, holy saints, and angels in the Celestial City after death.
You can read my book, What happens after death for more profound revelations. In the book
of John, we see a profound Word,
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in
him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 3:9 KJV
A Christian believer that
has received the salvation of the human spirit and soul has no struggles
controlling the body because the sanctified soul controls the body with the
help of the Holy Spirit through the human spirit.
Such a Christian believer have no or little desire to sin because the Holy Spirit has conquered the spirit and soul, making
the body submit to the desires of the Holy Spirit. However, the Christian
believer will be tempted to sin.
He will not corporate with the spirit of sin because his spirit, soul, and body are saved. As
the Apostle John writes, anyone born of God does not sin. Why? Because the seed
(the Holy Spirit and the Word) has total control over his spirit, soul, and
body.
Christian believers that
have not worked on the salvation of the human soul and body always struggle with
the desires of sin. These people are immune to the desires of the flesh because
the Holy Spirit and the Word have no power over their souls. In the book of John,
Christ Jesus made a powerful statement.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch
that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I
in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is
withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are
burned.
John 15:1-6 KJV
Christ Jesus spoke to His
disciples (including every Christian believer) that anyone who does not abide
in Him would be cast away and thrown into the lake of fire. This means it is
not enough to call yourself a Christian.
You must become a
believer in Christ Jesus. The Trinity must see the nature of Christ Jesus in
your character, words, and actions. These are not legalistic rules; they are
biblical principles. Don’t allow people to use grace to deceive you into
thinking that the grace of our Saviour and Lord Jesus permits us to sin (Meditate on Romans 6).
The grace of Christ Jesus
gives us power over sin. Grace provides us with the liberty to serve the Lord
in holiness, purity, sanctification, and righteousness. Christ Jesus came with
grace and truth (the Word), so don’t exclude the truth from the grace (Meditate on John 1:17). Grace
works in the field of truth. As Pastor Zac Poonen said, “the grace of God which does not include the fear of God is a false
grace.”
We must abide in Christ
Jesus by following His footsteps. Walking outside the path of Christ Jesus
excludes you from the kingdom of God. Walking and living outside the domain of
Christ Jesus makes you a candidate of the Satanic kingdom.
Like a tree and its
branches, without the tree (Christ Jesus), the fruits (Christian believers)
cannot receive life and light (total salvation). If you want to maintain your salvation, stay in
the light of the Word (Holy Scriptures) because Christ Jesus is the tree, and light
of life.
Outside the domain of
Christ Jesus is darkness. Any Christian believer who claims that he is born
again and fails to abide in Christ Jesus (walks and lives in the Word) lives in
darkness. On judgment day, Christ Jesus will cast such Christians into the lake
of fire because they did not abide in Him. Apostle Peter, in one of his letters
to the churches, wrote these powerful words.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the
knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is
turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing
in the mire.
2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV
In this letter, Apostle
Peter warns the false leaders and their followers. Peter writes to the church
that those (Christian believers) who pervert the ways of God have more
outstanding judgment. What do we see in our churches today?
Christian leaders leading
innocent souls astray with false doctrine and traditions will face the wrath of
God on judgment day (Meditate on 1 Timothy 4:1-3). Child of God, you cannot act
like the dog that returns to its vomit. Once you know the truth (the Word), God
(Christ Jesus) will use it to judge you on the final day (Meditate on 2
Corinthians 5:10).
Receiving Christ Jesus is
not enough. We must walk and live in His path. Christianity without the life, principles and personality of Christ Jesus is crisis, storms, and confusion. Christ Jesus
is the leader, and we (Christian believers) are the followers.
Christ Jesus has given us
the Word (Holy Scriptures) to follow. Walking outside the light of the Word is
dangerous because Christ Jesus is the house of protection. In his letters to
the church in Rome, Apostle Paul wrote some profoundly inspired letters to the
gentile Christian believers.
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the
root, but the root thee.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be
graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by
faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he
also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell,
severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness:
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed
in: for God is able to graff them in again.
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and
wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall
these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive
tree?
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened
to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Romans 11:18-25 KJV
These gentile Christian
believers thought Christianity was fun. They boasted in their faith and
goodness in Christ Jesus. These Christian believers failed to recognize God's
harshness, strictness, terror, and discipline (Meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:1-11).
Some Christians only see
Christ Jesus as their Saviour. They only serve Christ Jesus with one mind. Like
a coin, it has three sides. Some Christian believers do not know that Christ
Jesus is a Saviour and Judge.
Christ Jesus came as a
Saviour, and He will return as a Judge. Christ Jesus is a lamb and a lion. If
you fail to understand the nature of Christ Jesus, you lose. Like the
Israelites, most of them perished on their way to the promised land because
they did not know the ways of God.
The Israelites only knew the acts of God, and
it led to their destruction (Meditate on Psalms 103:7). Child of God, get this
truth once and for all. Christ Jesus is a Saviour and Judge. You can read my
series of articles for more profound revelations.

Understanding the Ways of God
3.
How God uses the enemy to help enter your promised land.
You can also read Paul
David Washer’s book titled, Knowing God for a more profound revelation. It is
not enough to declare Christ Jesus as your Saviour. Christ Jesus must be the
Lord over your friendship, business, marriage, school, and every area of your
life. Apostle Paul writes,
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth
the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that
beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest
that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a
castaway.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 KJV
Paul writes that he keeps
his body and brings it under subjection so that he will not be cast away on
judgment day. Why do you think Paul will write these strong words to the church?
He is alerting the church that we have a role to play to complete the salvation
of Christ Jesus.
Apostle Paul does not
want to perish on judgment day, so he worked on the salvation of his soul and
body. It doesn’t end there; Paul writes to a sect of Jewish Christian believers
concerning the salvation of the human soul and body.
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and
have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to
come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing
they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open
shame.
Hebrews 6:4-6 KJV
Child of God, are you
walking in the path of Christ Jesus. Receiving Christ Jesus and returning to the world
(evil activities) keeps you under the bondage of the enemy. Once you receive
Christ Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you are supposed to walk in the path and light of the Word.
Anyone that calls himself
a Christian believer and walks in darkness (willful sin) without repentance will
face the wrath of God on the final day. As the Holy Scriptures declare, God
will shame those Christians on the final day.
The doctrine of once
saved always saved is dangerous because the Word disagrees with it. Are you
living in willful sin as a Christian believer? Child of God, check your heart.
Does your heart condemn you of your actions?
If you don’t feel any regret
in your willful sin, iniquities, transgressions, and trespasses, you are dead
in the spirit. Feed on the Word (Holy Scriptures) and practice them to enable
the Holy Spirit to work on your soul because salvation is a process. Keep the
body and bring it under subjection because salvation is a process.
