Dealing with the Red Sea in Your Life (The Top 12 Reasons Why You are Failing in life) - 2

 

In my previous article, I explained that the red sea represents any stumbling block in our lives. If you read that article carefully, you would understand that the Israelites lost their faith in God because of the red sea.

The red sea gave the Egyptians power to pursue the Israelites. One important truth you must know is that when a Christian believer or religious unbeliever fails to deal with the red sea, he becomes a slave of the enemy.

This is one reason I am writing this article to help you understand the power of the red sea in your life. Identifying the red sea in your life will help you reposition yourself for advancement. It is like light and darkness.

When the light comes into your life, you see the danger and walk on the right path. Knowing the red sea in your life is the first step to victory. For example, before a medical or herbalist doctor cures a patient, he diagnoses or investigates the causes of the sickness.

After the diagnose, the doctor prescribes the best antidote for the patient. Some people cannot rise in life because they cannot identify their red seas. God is not wicked to forsake His children and creatures.

He is interested in every aspect of our lives, but He wants us to take responsibility. Until we play our part, God cannot play His role. You can read my series of articles, How God Judges Cases, for a more profound revelation. Below are the top twelve red seas or the top reasons you are not advancing in life.

 

 

1.  Because you are not born again.

Christ Jesus is the light of the world. Without Christ Jesus, darkness dominates your life. It takes the power of the Word (Christ Jesus) to break out from the red sea. Christ Jesus declared in the Word that freedom comes by knowing the Word (See John 8:32).

Apostle Paul writes that the natural man (unbeliever) cannot receive the things of the Spirit because they are spiritually discerned. Until you receive the unquenchable and indestructible light of Christ Jesus, you remain in the red sea (misery and darkness).

The reason why the red sea is dominating you is that Christ Jesus does not live in you. If you have Christ Jesus living in you, you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you, and guess what? The kingdom of darkness cannot deal with you as they deal with the unbelievers.

If you have not repented and confessed Christ Jesus into your life, do it now to break out from your red sea. I have written a prayer of salvation. Pray them from your heart and follow the instructions to enable the power of God to break the red sea limiting your life.

Do you know that I am receiving arrows (attacks) from the kingdom of darkness because of my role in the kingdom of God? Pray now to receive salvation. (Meditate on these Holy Scriptures for more profound revelations John 1:1-14, John 8:31-32, 1 Corinthians 2:1-14, 2 Corinthians 4:1-6).

 

PRAYER OF SALVATION (CONFESS THIS PRAYER WITH ALL YOUR HEART)

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, please forgive me of all my sin and wash me by the blood of Jesus Christ, I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour. I will follow and love you with all my heart.

Amen.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER THE PRAYERS

• Delete and format anything that will limit you from the presence of God.
• Download a Holy Bible on all your electronic devices (King James Version recommended).
• Buy a hard copy of a Holy Bible (King James Version recommended).
• Find a church that believes and follows the Holy Bible as their source of final authority and reference doctrine and get baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit.
• Build a consistent prayer life on your own.
• Fellowship with the Holy Spirit through the word of God and anointed spiritual songs (worship, praises, and hymnals).
• Evangelize in your community.

 

2. Because of the consistent willful sin in your life.

One crucial truth people ignore in life is the danger of sin. You can read some of my articles relating to the mysteries of sins for some revelations. You can also read my book, Spiritual Keys for life, for more profound revelations on sin.

Sin has the power to harden the heart of humankind. When an individual continues in sinful activities, he becomes dead to the voice, leadership, and signals of the Holy Spirit. Monitor any man or woman who enjoys the pleasure of sin; such a person is heartless towards others.

Child of God, until you break out from sin, your red sea remains intact. Your red sea grows stronger by your willful disobedience towards God’s Word. Sin has the power to blind the spirit of man and weakens the sensitivity of his soul.

Judas Iscariot couldn’t break out from the grip of sin, and it led to suicide. If you want to break out from your red sea, ask the Holy Spirit to purify your heart. Develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit and feed on the Word of God (Meditate on 1 Peter 2:2, Romans 12:1-2).

Running away from sin and pursuing the Holy Spirit will clear off your red sea (Meditate on Proverbs 14:34, Psalms 38:3;66:18, Acts 8:18-23 and read my series of books for more profound revelations).

 

3. Because of the invisible and unbroken curses.

Curses are spiritual strongholds that limit the productivity of countries, organizations, individuals, and creations of God. Unbroken curses have the power to restrict the progress of humankind.

Curses cannot operate without the permission of God. Curses come into the life of humankind in many ways. Breaking the laws of the devil can activate curses. Curses can emanate from your country, family, workplace, environment, and yourself.

You can read my series of articles for more profound revelations on curses. Curses are like fertile soil in the spiritual realm. They supply nutrients to your red sea. If you read this point carefully, you would understand that I wrote invisible and unbroken curses.

Hidden curses can emanate from people’s negative emotions, imaginations, and whispers towards you. Some people can strongly imagine in their heart and mind that something bad should happen to you.

In this case, they have programmed curses in the atmosphere to limit you or empower your red sea. Until you break these curses with God’s promises, your red sea remains intact. One way to break curses is to walk with the Holy Spirit consistently.

Walking with the Holy Spirit exempts you from certain curses. The Holy Spirit will lift a standard against the curses of wicked people and evil spirits when you develop a close relationship with Him (Meditate on Isaiah 59:19).

Read my article, why a Spirit-filled Christian believer cannot be cursed for more profound revelations. The angels of God always surround people that reverence Christ Jesus, so develop an attitude to reverence the Word (obedience to the Holy Scriptures).

Because of your love for Christ Jesus, the church and kingdom of God, God’s counsel will always stand in your life irrespective of the atmospheric curses (Meditate on Proverbs 19:21). Break the curses strengthening your red sea by believing, declaring, decreeing, and professing the Word of God in Spirit-led prayers and fasting (Meditate on Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13).

 

4. Because of your association.

In my previous article, I gave out a few keys to this point. I will throw more light on this point for better understanding. As the Holy Scriptures declare, evil communication corrupts good manners (See 1 Corinthians 15:33).

The people in your surrounding has a great impact on your life. The people you allow in your life can become a red sea (barrier) or blessings in your life because the words they speak to you create a philosophy and culture within you (Meditate on Proverbs 18:21).

Anyone you allow into your life creates a soul tie with you. Soul tie means your emotions, desires, willpower, and intellect become one with the person you associate with. Understand that words rule the human soul.

If the person (influencer) has nothing profitable to add to your life, that individual becomes a red sea. Either you help the person with the Word and prayer, disengage with the person in wisdom, or the person hijacks you in the red sea.

If the person or the group influencing you carries an evil spirit, the spirit in them will impact your life. If the person or the group influencing you carries the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will destroy the red sea in your life (Meditate on 1 Corinthians 15:33, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18).  

 

5. Because you have no mentor in life.

Christ Jesus had a mentor when He walked on earth as a man. In His ministry, he always emphasized that He did what He saw His Heavenly Father doing (See John 5:19). Christ Jesus would never have fulfilled His assignment if he had no mentors (the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father).

 

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 119:105 KJV

David declared the Word (Holy Scriptures) as a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path. David knew without the counsels of the Word, he would fail in life. You need the Word of God to guide you in your life because the wisdom within is trustworthy.

Nothing is new under the sun. Whatever path you have planned to pursue, someone has pursued and completed that road. Connect with people who have walked on the path you want to pursue and follow their godly wisdom because, without them, your red sea remains intact.

Even Christ Jesus followed the instruction of his mentors (the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father). Until you find and follow a godly and successful mentor who has walked on the path you want to pursue, you remain in the red sea (Meditate on Hebrews 6:10-11, 1 Corinthians 4:16;11:1, Matthew 4:19).

 

6. Because of the fear of man.

Fear is one of the facilitating factors that hinder the progress of humankind. If you are the type that always desires to please all men, you cannot break out from your red sea. Even Christ Jesus, who never sinned, had enemies.

What of us who are susceptible to sin. Can I present to you that you cannot please all men irrespective of your innocence? The fallen nature of men will not permit everybody to agree with you.

Accept this truth and break out from your red sea. Some people will complain you have offended them. Walking and living in fear is a stronghold of the enemy. Fear will make you lose faith in God. It will trap you and bury you in your red sea.

 

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

Proverbs 29:25 KJV

If you don’t want to remain in the trap and limitation of humankind and the enemy, ask the Holy Spirit to work on your fear because the fear of men has the power to cut your life short. The fear of humankind can limit your potentials and make you a slave.

It is good to honor men. If you want to break out from your red sea, work out the fear and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Read my book, The Mysteries of Fear, for a more profound revelation. (Meditate on these Holy Scriptures Matthew 10:28, Acts 5:29, Job 4:12-17).

 

7. Because you love your comfort zone.

One reason people cannot enter their promised land is that they are afraid to take a risk. Can I present to you that your comfort zone is strengthening your red sea? Christ Jesus would never have died on the cross to save us from the bondage of sin and unite us with the Heavenly Father if he failed to enter Jerusalem.

Christ Jesus had many reasons to forsake Jerusalem, yet he took the risk and moved forward. One of his closest disciples (Peter) advised that he shouldn’t enter Jerusalem, yet he moved into the town.

Do you know that Apostle Peter would never have walked on the sea if he failed to come out of the boat (red sea)? While others are relaxing and enjoying their comfort zone (red sea), you must decide to come out.

The red sea may look nice and pleasurable for a season. Do not be deceived by the temporal pleasure! Don’t remain in that comfort zone whiles your promised land remains undiscovered. Great treasures are waiting for you on the precious land (Canaan).

The red sea has deceptive ways of blinding you in your comfort zone. Monitor successful people and realize that they broke out from their comfort zone (red sea) despite the risk. Do not allow your loved ones and enemies to keep you in your red sea (comfort zone).

Venture into the promised land like Christ Jesus. He knew Jerusalem was the land of pain and death, yet he took the risk (Meditate on Matthew 16:21-23). Are you ready to take a risk to enable you to break out from the red sea?

 

8. Because you have a faulty foundation.

Before a man builds a house, he checks his budget, the condition of the land, the location of the land, employs an architect to draw the plan, and signs a legal contract with the law court. One reason people remain in their red sea is because they have faulty foundation.

 

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Psalms 11:3 KJV

Before God created human beings, He set the foundation for them. God created the earth, animals, trees, and other important things because He knew humankind would need them as life support.

God knew it was not good for a man to be alone, so He formed a female for him (See Genesis 2:18). God is a master planner, and He expects us to set our foundation right. If your foundation (training, level of wisdom, experience, and knowledge) is weak, you cannot break out from the red sea.

Building a house on sand or in a flooded area puts your life and assets in danger. Before a builder or an architect builds a storey building, he creates a strong foundation. Most often, the height of the storey building will determine the firmness of the foundation.

Some people come from strong demonic families and environments. Because of these demonic strongholds (red seas), they need stronger and anointed prayers to break out. The truth is, your foundation determines the longevity of your victory.

Alexander the great was relentless and fearless in battle. His passion for winning battles built a strong foundation in his life, making him unconquerable in war.

• Do you have a strong foundation to face your red sea?
• Have you analyzed the strength and weaknesses of your enemies?
• Have you assessed your strength and weakness?
• Are you spiritually fit to face your red sea?
• Are you mentally fit to face your red sea?
• Are you medically fit to face your red sea?
• Are you financially fit to face your red sea?
• Are you socially fit to face your red sea?
• Are you politically fit to face your red sea?
• Are you emotionally fit to face your red sea?
• Are you physically fit to face your red sea?
• Has the Holy Spirit endorsed you to face your red sea?
• Has Christ Jesus (the Word) endorsed you to face your red sea?
• Do you have an assurance in your heart to face your red sea?
• Has the Heavenly Father endorsed you to face the red sea?

Child of God, think twice before you face the red sea (Meditate on Luke 14:28-30)

 

9. Because you have no vision and life principles.

One cannot advance in life without solid principles, definite vision, mission, and assignment. It takes discipline and sacrifice to break out from your red sea. As I am writing this article, I have a lot of things to embark on, but I have sacrificed my bed, precious time, energy, and money to make this information available on my site.

Child of God, your red sea remains active without the right priorities, sacrifice, hard work, prayer, and consistency. I am writing to you about my little experience. If you are not ready to discipline yourself, you cannot enter your promised land.

 

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV

I believe you have meditated on the Holy Scriptures. If you don’t have a dream or revelation of your journey, you cannot break out from your red sea. You cannot follow the crowd because everybody is taking a specific path.

Christ Jesus said the blind could not lead the blind (See Luke 6:39). People without the Holy Spirit can lead you astray in the long run. In the short or medium term, their plans may work. Give it time, and you will realize that their wisdom will not last in the long run.

If you want to break out from your red sea, build strong life values (principles) and have a clear vision of your mission. Most often, people sleep in treated mosquito nets to avoid malaria. Some people spray their room with mosquito insecticides, while others use creams and mosquito coils to prevent mosquito bites.

Some people keep their surroundings clean by clearing away or draining stagnant waters to prevent mosquitoes from breeding. These are some life principles to avoid female anopheles mosquitoes from transferring the protozoa into your body.

You need strong principles and a vision to break out from your red sea, or else the enemies will dominate and oppress you in front of the red sea. Meditate on this Holy Scripture.

 

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV

 

10. Because you ignore your sixth sense.

Faith is one of the indispensable weapons to break out from your red sea. If you observe the miracles of Christ Jesus, you will see that He healed people of faith. As soon as Christ Jesus sees faith in people, He acts. You cannot walk with the Holy Spirit without faith because faith is one of the vital currencies in the spiritual world.

 

…without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

• Until you act in faith, you remain in your red sea.
• Until you act in faith, the devil keeps oppressing you.
• Until you act in faith, you remain in your depressed state.
• Until you act in faith, you deny God’s help.
• Until you act in faith, you remain helpless.
• Until you act in faith, your enemies keep rejoicing over you.
• Until you act in faith, your miracles remain inactive.
• Until you act in faith, the storms keep rising.
• Until you act in faith, your oppressors enjoy your blessings in the promised land.

11. Because you don't seek counsel from wise, experienced, successful, and godly vessels.

Someone knows something you do not know, so humble yourself and seek help from others. Every organ of the body works in a team. Without the heart, the body cannot work effectively because the heart is responsible for pumping life-giving blood to all parts of the body.

The mind needs air to function effectively. If the nose, the mouth, and other organs of the body fail to inhale oxygen, it can lead to death. Our eyes, hands, nose, legs, ears need each other. The five senses work together to make humankind complete.

That is how God designed the human body. In life, you cannot go far without the help of others. You will need the advice and support of others. Even Christ Jesus needed men to work with when He walked on earth as a man (See Luke 2:52; 6:12-15).

 

Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Proverbs 11:14 KJV

Safety works in the surrounding of counselors. This is one reason ministers of the gospel, counselors, and other professionals advise people in life. Seeking a piece of godly advice from trusted people can deliver you from the red sea.

 

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12 KJV

Don’t assume you know it all. Try the wisdom of others because your wisdom may be the host of your red sea. God has called and chosen some people to help you in life. Read their articles and books. Listen to their tapes and watch their videos because their wisdom can deliver you from the red sea.

 

12. Because you have failed to dominate the devil and his cohorts in the spiritual realm.

The Holy Scriptures declare that the devil roams in the world seeking whom he may devour. God is calling us to be watchful in our vicissitudes of life because we are in a spiritual battle (Meditate on Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Peter 5:8-9).

Until victory takes place in the spiritual realm, slavery dominates the earth realm. God expects us to dominate the enemy because He has delegated divine power to us (Luke 10:19). If you don’t want to remain in your red sea, dominate the invisible forces hijacking you in the red sea in spiritual warfare prayers.
