How to know you are falling from the mountains of the Spirit (9 Nine Master Keys)
The Christian life is a walk
of power, wisdom, faith, and understanding. Ignorance of these truths makes you
a loser in the realms of the spirit and journey of life. Some Christian
believers cannot climb to the mountains of the Lord because they are ignorant
of the protocols, principles, and truths of God’s kingdom, the devil’s kingdom,
and the earth's kingdom.
It is like a farmer
growing seeds among weeds; such a farmer waist his time, energy, and resources
because he has failed to deal with destroyers of the seed. That is how the
Christian faith works.
In my book, spiritual keys for life, I have enumerated some divine keys every Christian believer
must know. Following those divine principles will help you stay strong in the
Lord and rise higher on the mountain of spiritual authority.
I will write into details
on the spiritual protocols in the next article. In this article, I will
enumerate some divine keys that will help you know and understand that you are
losing the fire of the Holy Spirit on the mountain of the Lord.
The mountain of the Lord
is a place of spiritual authority. Keep calm because I will write into detail the
divine protocols governing the realms of the Spirit in the next article. You
must know about God’s kingdom that the Trinity works with principles.
Ignorance of these
principles and truths is to your detriment. It doesn’t matter how long you have
been in the ministry; if you lack the principles of the kingdom, you become a
victim of cruel enemies.
People called John the
Baptist a devil because of his ministry (See Matthew 11:18). When Christ Jesus
walked on earth as a man, some people called him a devil (See John 8:52;
10:20-21). Some religious people questioned Christ Jesus' authority because of
His ministry.
Because of Christ Jesus'
ministry on earth, three conservative divisions took place among the Jews,
religious people, and the roman authorities (See John 7:43; 9:16; 10:19). This
should let you understand that every vessel God calls and sends into the world
will encounter opposition and conflict among people.
If no one opposes, discredits, and rejects you, then you are not genuinely called
of God (Meditate on Luke 6:26). Christ Jesus promised us that the world would hate us because of Him.
If you are not full of the Holy Spirit, the world and spiritual enemies will
crush you in the Christian faith.
Today, some Christian believers advocate the new world order because of ignorance and greed. Although
Christ Jesus, the prophets, and the apostles prophesied what will happen when
the end time is near, we must watch and pray because real Christianity is of the
Spirit.
The religious people supposed
to encourage and support Christ Jesus opposed Him with all their heart,
resource, and energy because of ignorance, pride, and spiritual blindness. Some
people called Christ Jesus a heretic because of his doctrines.
The religious people
falsely accused Christ Jesus of a sin he had never committed because of
jealousy. Child of God, if you don’t charge yourself in the spirit, you will
fall and become a slave of the enemy.
This is one reason I am
writing this article to help you know the signals of spiritual weakness. Knowing
these truths will help you reconcile with the Holy Spirit when you fall or miss
your spiritual path.
Below are the top nine truths to help you know that you are falling from the mountains of the Lord. In other words, these divine truths are signs of letting you know that you are backsliding in your Christian walk with the Holy Spirit.
Don’t become a victim of
the world and spirit enemies because they are unmerciful. Grab these divine
truths so you can walk in divine power, authority, and dominion of the Holy
Spirit.
1. You will not be
interested in prayer.
The first sign to know
that you are falling from the mountain of the Lord is that you will not have
the desire to fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer. One important
truth you must know about the Christian faith is that prayer is a builder of
the human spirit and soul (Meditate on 1 Corinthians 14:4).
Without consistent prayers,
your spirit and soul become weak in the realms of the Spirit. When you detect
that your love for prayer is decreasing, understand that the enemy is weakening
you in the spirit.
The enemy knows the power
of consistent prayer, so he will make you ignore it. The more you ignore
prayer, the higher your spirit and soul become susceptible to the enemy's
attacks. Apostle Paul knew the power of prayer, so he wrote to the church in
Thessalonica to pray consistently.
Pray without ceasing.
1
Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
Child of God, prayer is a
spiritual ingredient you cannot afford to lose in your Christian life. Examine
the life of the prophets, patriarchs, kings, priests, and vessels the Holy
Spirit used; they had a prayer life.
Daniel held a vital
leadership position in Babylon, but he prayed three times daily. Abraham,
Moses, David, Jacob (later become Israel), and several disciples of Christ
Jesus had time for prayers.
If you call yourself a
Christian believer and you don’t have a prayer life, you are a baby in the
spiritual realm. I know what I am writing to you because prayer is helping me
in the Spirit. Consistent prayer is a powerful antidote to the human spirit and
soul, so do not ignore it.
By God’s grace, I have a
prayer life. When I don’t pray, I feel like I have lost something precious in
the Spirit. Find a solitary place and build a prayer altar because prayer is
one of the best ways to create a divine connection.
When you consistently pray in a specific place, that area becomes an altar for God, His angels, your spirit, and your soul. Remember, prayerless Christian believers are babies in the Spirit.
- Prayerless Christian believers cannot stand the end-time spiritual battle.
- Prayerless Christian believers easily compromise when the enemy attacks.
- Prayerless Christian believers have a weaker shield of faith in the Spirit.
- Prayerless Christian believers cannot lead the army of God on earth and in the Spirit.
- Prayerless Christian believers have weak divine authority.
- Prayerless Christian believers’ sermons do not carry divine power.
- Prayerless Christian believers have a weak spiritual atmosphere.
- Prayerless Christian believers quickly give up in the storms of life.
- Forces of darkness easily break the gates of prayerless Christian believers.
- Prayerless Christian believers are often carnal, soulish, and nominal in life.
If you want to climb
higher in the Spirit, build a consistent prayer life. If you want the Holy
Spirit and angels of God to back you in the Spirit, build a prayer life. If you
don’t want to fall from the mountain of the Lord, build a consistent prayer
life.
2. No desire for the Word
(Holy Bible)
One sign to know you are spiritually
dying is that your love for God’s Word becomes weak. Like a seed in the soil,
without adequate water, it dies. You need the eternal life within the Word
(Christ Jesus) to quicken your spirit and nourish your soul.
Some Christian believers
only open and read their holy bibles in the church. Because of this bad attitude,
their spirit and soul walk in darkness in the realms of the Spirit. Imagine you
have not eaten or fed your body for twelve hours; how do you feel? That is how
our spirit and soul feel when we fail to feed it with the Word.
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby:
1
Peter 2:2 KJV
The food for our spirit
and soul is the Word. When you ignore the power of God’s Word, you starve your
spirit and weaken your soul. When your spirit becomes weak, it affects the
operation of the Holy Spirit and Trinity of man (soul, spirit, and body). One
secret you must know about the devil is that it attacks from the soul.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
If your soul is empty of
God’s Word, the devil and his minions dominate it with evil thoughts. This is
one reason; most baby Christians and unbelievers are full of wickedness. They
have no light (Word) in them, so evil spirits take control of their lives
(Meditate on 1 Corinthians 2:12-14).
It takes power within
God’s Word to raise the human spirit and soul in the spiritual realm. The more
you feed your spirit and soul with the Word, the stronger you become in the
spirit (Meditate on Hebrews 4:12).
Any Christian believer
who does not consistently feed on God’s Word loses faith in the season of pain
and darkness (Meditate on Romans 10:17). As you climb higher in the spirit, the
spiritual nutrients within the Word sustain your spirit and soul.
If you have little Word
in you, your spiritual strength fails in the season of adversity. It is like a
car; the greater the gasoline within the fuel tank, the farther it travels.
That is how the Word of God works in our spirit and soul.
The more you feed your
spirit and soul with the Word, the farther you travel in the Spirit. Although
you will need other spiritual ingredients to travel in the spirit, the Word is
a necessity on the mountain of the Lord.
Today, Elon Musk has
invented electric cars and other gadgets that do not need gasoline to travel.
The fact that electric vehicles do not need gasoline to travel does not mean these
cars can travel everywhere without engines.
If the engine fails, the vehicle
stops. The Word supplies the gasoline (spiritual muscles) in the car (human
spirit and soul). Spirit-led prayers and the Word gives the human spirit and
soul the horsepower to travel faster in the spiritual realm.
Child of God, do not ignore the power of the Word because it boosts our spiritual speed on the mountain. Know these truths.
- If you don’t want to faint on the mountain of the Lord, feed your spirit and soul with the Word.
- If you want to travel faster in the spiritual realm, feed your spirit and soul with the Word
- If you don’t want to backslide in your Christian life, feed your spirit and soul with the Word
- If you do not want the devil and his minions to dominate your soul with evil thoughts, feed it with the Word.
- If you want your shield of faith and other spiritual armors to become unbreakable, consistently feed your soul and spirit with the Word.
- If you don’t want to fall from the mountain of the Lord, revive your spirit and soul with the Word (Christ Jesus in written words).
3. No desire for fasting.
Christ Jesus commanded us
to fast because it is one of the spiritual weapons (Meditate on Matthew
6:16-17; 9:15; Mark 2:20; Luke 5:35). Sometimes I feel hunger when I am fasting.
I know fasting sometimes becomes burdensome in our Christian life.
Fasting helps you break
certain gates in the Spirit. Don’t think you are fasting to change God because He
is unchangeable. Fasting makes God respond to His principles concerning your life.
Fasting does not change the personality of God; rather, it helps you activate
the hands of God.
Engaging in fasting is a great
booster to your spirit and soul. Fasting means denying yourself food and any
pleasure to enable you, fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You don’t fast because you don’t have money
and food.
You fast because the Holy
Spirit commands you. In the season of fasting, read the Holy Bible, pray, and
fellowship with the Holy Spirit through spiritual songs. Ensure the Holy Spirit
leads you before engaging in fasting because there are spiritual and physical repercussions.
Anytime we fast and pray
as led by the Holy Spirit, our spirit and soul nourish in the spirit. Every junk in our soul and spirit begins to
fall in the season of fasting. For example, suppose you carry a load of pride,
unforgiveness, jealousy, other invisible sins, and habits that creates a limitation
between you and the Holy Spirit.
Fasting makes room for
the Holy Spirit to clean and purge your spirit and soul. I am sharing some of
my spiritual experiences with you. When we fast, God opens the gates of mercies
and allows us to enter spiritual gates we are not qualified to access. If you
detect that you don’t desire to fast, you have a spiritual problem.
Before the apostles of
Christ, Jesus chose a leader in the church; they fasted and prayed. In his
letters to the church, Apostle Paul alerted the Christian believers that he
fasted consistently with other disciples (See Acts 14:23; 1 Corinthians 7:5, 2
Corinthians 6:5; 11:27).
Within the body of Christ
Jesus, some Christian believers dedicated themselves to fasting and prayers
because they knew the power of fasting. Do you know that some religious and satanic
groups fast on specific days and months?
They know the power of
fasting, so they don’t joke with it. Examine yourself. Do you have a desire to
fast? I consistently fast and pray as led by the Holy Spirit.
- Do you love fasting?
- Do you fast occasionally?
If you hate fasting, you
are a baby in the spiritual realm. Connect with Christian believers that engage
in fasting and prayers to enable the grace (fire) on them to fall on you.
Hatred for fasting disqualifies you from reaching the mountain of the Lord.
4. You begin to criticize
the church and spiritual leaders.
One sign to know you are
falling from the mountain of the Lord is that you will begin to oppose the
things of God. Maybe, you were a worker and promoter of the church. Strangely,
you realize that you have started rebuking spiritual leaders and opposing everything
the church does. In God’s kingdom, we are a family.
…Master [Christ
Jesus], we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we
forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not
against us is for us.
Luke
9:49-50 KJV (Emphasis added)
Some disciples of Christ
Jesus restricted some people in the ministry because they did not see them with
their Master. Christ Jesus responded to his disciples that anyone that does not
oppose Him is not against Him.
This means opposers of
Christ Jesus, His teachings, and the church are enemies of God’s kingdom. In
God’s kingdom, the blood of Christ Jesus has made Christian believers a family
(See Romans 12:4-5).
We don’t have
protestants, charismatics, Adventists, Catholics, Methodists, and denominations
in the Celestial City. We are one in Christ Jesus. When you realize that
you are constantly criticizing the church and true spiritual leaders
destructively, recognize that you are falling from the mountain of the Lord.
If you accuse the brethren,
you are a slave of the devil. You cannot call yourself a Christian believer and
oppose the works of Christ Jesus. If the Holy Spirit has revealed to you that
someone is pretending as a Christian leader, deal with that false person but apply
wisdom because the devil, human flesh, and soul can also give visions and
dreams.
The devil can manifest as
an angel of light to deceive you, so apply wisdom and the truths of the Word.
Most often, accusers of the church are lost in the spiritual realm. If you are
part of God’s end-time army, you will not oppose the church, spiritual leaders,
and leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Repent if you are an
accuser of the brethren. Failure to desist from attacking the church and
spiritual leaders will lead to destruction. You can lose your life, mantle, and
become a slave of the enemy if you intentionally and constantly oppose true
spiritual leaders and the movement of the Christian church.
It doesn’t matter your level in the Spirit; if you intentionally oppose the true church of God, you will fall from the mountain. Learn from the Holy Bible.
- I hope you know what happened to Ahab and his evil wife, Jezebel.
- I hope you know what happened to Lucifer and the rebellious angels.
- I hope you know what happened to the Egyptians when they willfully decided to destroy the Israelites.
- I hope you know what happened to Herod when he lifted himself against Christ Jesus and the church.
- I hope you know what happened to Saul when he attacked the church. He received divine mercies because he did it ignorantly.
Secondly, Saul (later
became an apostle) received divine mercies when he repented of his evil deeds. Read
the history of people that intentionally opposed the true church of Christ
Jesus.
5. Your desire for Church
attendance weakens.
…let us consider one another to provoke unto love and
to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of
some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye
see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV
One sign to help you know
you are dying in the Spirit is that your desire for church attendance weakens. Apostle
Paul knew the power of fellowship, so he wrote to the church to meet and
associate with one another.
It is like a sheep that
does not want to remain under the covering of the shepherd. Such a sheep lives
at the mercies of wild wolves. Ignoring the fellowship of the saints makes you
weak in the Spirit.
It opens the portal for
the unbelievers to weaken your faith. When you disconnect from the church,
spiritually, you are falling from the mountain of the Lord. It takes the
fellowship of the brethren to keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in your
spirit.
When you disengage from the brethren,
you become like Eve. The serpent (devil) will bombard you with temptations. Eve
would have escaped from the temptation of the serpent if she had stayed under
the authority of Adam.
Like a soldier
disengaging from the army and commander, he puts his life in great danger. Within
the body of Christ Jesus, we are shielded by the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Disconnecting from the church removes the grace operating in the body from your
life.
On the mountain of the
Lord, it takes the encouragement of the brethren to move forward despite the
attack. You can read a dream I had about the valleys of the shadows of death
for more profound revelation.
Do not think you have
arrived because of the spiritual gifts and temporal assets. Humble yourself and
fellowship with the church because the church provides special covering on the
mountain.
6. Your desire for ministry
weakens.
You enjoyed the ministry
of God. You loved to evangelize, intercede, and follow up on new coverts. You were
part of the church organizers, choristers, ushers, and electronic team. You
were the one in charge of the singing band.
You assisted the pastors
and some church members with your energy, resource, and time. You were cleaning
the chairs, tables, and accessories of the church. You were the Sunday school
teacher. You loved the ministry with all your heart.
- What happened to your zeal?
- What happened to the ministry God gave you?
- What really happened?
- Did someone offend you?
- Maybe the church did not recognize your good works?
- No one supported you?
- Did God fail to answer a specific prayer request?
Child of God, the
ministry of Christ Jesus differs from the ministry of the world. You may have
concluded that God disappointed and lied to you. You must realize that it takes
time, wisdom, and leadership of the Holy Spirit to build the ministerial work.
The church may have
disappointed you. Your family and loved ones may have rejected you the time you
needed them most. Christ Jesus has not rejected you (See Psalms 27:10, Hebrews
13:5). God is building your faith, so don’t give up on Christ Jesus and the
ministry.
The ways and thoughts of
God are mysterious (See Isaiah 55:6-9). The fact that you are giving up in the
ministry signifies you are falling from the mountain of the Lord. The devil is
succeeding because you are fed up with Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the
ministry!
Read the Holy Scriptures thoroughly
and the history of God’s vessels. You will realize that your storms are a tiny percentage
of their training.
If
thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Proverbs 24:10 KJV
Put on the whole armor of
God because the Christian life is a walk of faith and spiritual battles (See
Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not give up on the Lord because you are near the mountain!
The mountain of the Lord is full of treasures. Giving up on the ministry is a sign
of ignorance and defeat!
7. Spiritual songs will
not touch your soul.
One spiritual key to helping
you know you are alive in the spirit is that anointed, biblical and spiritual
songs rekindle you anytime you hear them. The language of the human soul are
words spoken with passion and understanding.
If spiritual, biblical,
and anointed Christian songs do not move your spirit and soul, you are dead in
the spirit. Spiritual vessels full of the Holy Spirit will understand this
point clearly because spiritual songs are life-givers.
David was a king, prophet, and musician in Israel. He knew the power of spiritual songs. David saw the coming of our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus. He prophesied the acts of Judas Iscariot because he was a lover of spiritual songs. Know these truths.
- If spiritual songs do not impact your life, you are weak in the Spirit.
- If spiritual songs do not impact your spirit, you are falling from the mountain of the Lord.
- If spiritual songs do not rekindle your spirit and soul, the enemy has recruited you.
- If spiritual songs do not rekindle your spirit and soul, you are not part of kingdom leaders.
- If spiritual songs do not move your spirit and soul, you are a trillion miles away from the mountain of the Lord.
- If spiritual songs do not revive your spirit, the Holy Spirit has little or no influence on your life.
- If spiritual songs do not rekindle your spirit and soul, the gates of the kingdom are shut to you in the spiritual realm.
- Your spiritual antenna is dead if spiritual songs do not move you into action.
8. You feel comfortable living
with hardened unbelievers and enjoy secular music.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV
Another sign to help you
know you are backsliding or falling from the mountain of the Lord is that you
will become a fan of secular music that opposes the kingdom of God. You will
always feel comfortable amid unrepentant unbelievers and uncomfortable amid Spirit-filled
Christian believers.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath
light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that
believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk
in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty.
2
Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV
As a Christian believer,
your spirit is joined to the Holy Spirit (See 1 Corinthians 6:17). Because of
this divine connection, our spirit and soul will not feel comfortable with rebellious
people who hate the things of God and the church.
Like light and darkness,
darkness vanishes when light appears. Like a magnet, poles of the same order do
not attract. The north pole of a magnet will not attract the north pole of
another magnet. It takes different poles of a magnet to attract.
The north pole of a
magnet will attract the south pole of another magnet. That is how our spirit
and soul connect with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit within our spirit will
reject anything that is not of God.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the
light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:20 KJV
God cannot share us with the devil. The Holy Spirit will separate you from things that will take you away from His presence and leadership. Examine your life.
- Do you always feel comfortable living with rebellious and unrepentant unbelievers (heartless sinners)?
- Do you enjoy the evil activities of the unrepentant unbelievers?
- Do you feel uncomfortable amid Spirit-filled Christian believers?
- Do you enjoy secular music that opposes Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the church?
If yes to these questions, it’s a sign of bondage. It’s a sign that you have fallen from the mountain of the Lord. Repent for a turnaround!
9. You enjoy the
pleasures of sin.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and
the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Proverbs 8:13
KJV
Sin is an enemy
of the Godhead (the Trinity). Sin dwells in Satan and his minions. Anyone who
does not have the Holy Spirit or anyone who is not born again is an agent of
Sin and Satan. You will hardly find a true vessel of Christ Jesus enjoying the
pleasures of sin.
I have realized in my
life that when I allow sin to dominate me, I become vulnerable in the Spirit. As
Christian believers, we are tempted to sin because of the lustful desires of
the flesh, the influence of the devil, unbelievers, and carnal Christians.
Because we have the seed
of the Holy Spirit abiding in us, we can easily overcome the temptation of sin.
I know how sin destroys my fellowship with the Holy Spirit so, I yield to the
influence of the Holy Spirit in my daily life through the obedience of the Word
and willpower.
Sin has the power to
weaken the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Willful and
consistent sinful acts can make you heartless and susceptible to demonic
thoughts. If you allow sin to dominate you, it opens the gates for evil spirits
to control your life.
Allowing the influence of
sin in your life empowers the minions of Satan to wipe you from climbing the
mountain of the Lord in the realms of the Spirit. Unbelievers enjoy the pleasures
of sin because the god of this world has blinded their hearts.
Their conscience is dead
because there is no light in them. Sin has become part of their lives, so they
see no fault in engaging in crimes, iniquities, trespasses, and grave evils. On
the mountain of the Lord, sin weakens your soul and spirit.
Sin opens the portal for
the enemy to issue his arrow of accusations, jealousy, inferiority, and
hopelessness into your heart. You will find yourself questioning the integrity
of God’s Word when you allow sin to occupy your heart.
Your spiritual armor will lose its strength when sin dominates your heart. You will become blind in the spirit when sin rules you. Your spirit runs at top speed towards the gate of destruction in the realms of spirit when sin dominates you. Get my book, spiritual keys for life, for more profound revelations.
