Five Master Keys to Sharpen Your Spiritual Weapons and Senses (Dominating the Enemy’s Systems)
As believers in Christ
Jesus, we cannot exempt ourselves from storms because they are part of life. If
you have not read my articles titled, the adventures on the road to the celestial city, I encourage you to read
them because they are full of revelations. In this article, I will share some
lessons Christ Jesus taught his disciples in the darkest moment.
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us
pass over unto the other side.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was
in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the
ship, so that it was now full.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they
awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be
still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is
it that ye have no faith?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of
man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Mark 4:35-41 KJV
After Christ Jesus taught
the multitudes and his disciples the parable of the Sower, He moved with his
disciples to a different destination to win souls into the kingdom. On their
way to the next town, they encountered a problem.
A great storm hit their
ship. Reading through the holy scriptures (See Mark 4:35-41), I gathered some
important revelations and truths. These truths will help you stand and break through
any storms that come your way as a Christian believer.
1. Walking and living with
Christ Jesus does not mean you will not encounter storms.
The Creator of the
Universe (Christ Jesus) was within the ship, yet his disciples encountered great
storms. We cannot exclude ourselves from storms in the Christian journey because
we are born again.
Storms mean difficulties,
hardships, financial restrains, pain, depression, hunger, confusion, rejection,
and several uncomfortable situations in life. The fact that you have repented
and accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior of your life does not mean
you are free from problems.
As a Christian believer,
the problems you encounter do not mean Christ Jesus has forsaken you (Meditate
on Hebrews 13:5, Psalms 27:10). The storms you are experiencing in life do not
mean you are living under a curse.
Joseph and Job lived
under curses if all storms in life were curses. Imagine the storms of Joseph. His
siblings rejected and abused him. They sold him to the Mediante’s. Joseph
became an enslaved person in Egypt for several years.
He was falsely accused of
rape and sent to prison. Was Joseph operating under curses? No, because it was
in the plans of God to help him become mature to enable him to handle the leadership
position in Egypt.
Job lost his family and
wealth. His friends that were supposed to encourage him accused him as a
sinner. Was Job operating under a curse? No, because it was a seasonal storm to
test Job’s faith. Christ Jesus was betrayed and sold by his trusted disciple
(Judas Iscariot).
His closest disciples
rejected him when the Romans captured him. The religious people and unbelievers
falsely accused him. The Romans abused him physically and emotionally. Through
the sufferings and crucifixion of Christ Jesus, we (Christian believers) are
delivered from the curse of the law.
Understand the difference
between curses and storms because not every suffering emanates from curses.

blessings.

- How to stand the storms of life
Storms are part of the
Christian journey. If you read the holy scriptures carefully, you will
understand that Christ Jesus (the King of Kings and Lord of Lords) was inside
the ship when the storms arrived on the sea.
At least, the storms and sea
should have considered Christ Jesus. The storms did not recognize our Lord and
Saviour Christ Jesus because the disciples of Christ Jesus operated in fear.
The storms and winds attacked the disciples of Christ Jesus because they forgot
that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords were with them.
From the holy scriptures
(see Mark 4:35-41), the disciples in the ship represent Christian believers
living on earth. The storms and winds represent the challenges, uncomfortable
situations, and attacks of the enemy in our lives.
At the same time, Christ Jesus in the ship symbolizes
the Holy Spirit living in our hearts. The sea indicates the state of our hearts
and journey of life. The ship represents the kingdom of God on earth (the
church).
Child of God, do not give
up on the Christian faith because you are passing through storms. Christ Jesus
is with you in the storms. He knows and understands your pains, challenges,
attacks of the enemy, and the uncomfortable situations you are passing through
because He is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.
Christ Jesus became a
human being like us and walked on the earth, so He feels our storms (Meditate
on Hebrews 2:18; 4:15, Philippians 2:5-8). Do not interpret the temporal
challenges you are passing through as a curse.
I recommend you read my
series of articles titled theadventures on the road to the Celestial City for more profound
revelations. Do not accept the devil's lies that Christ Jesus has forsaken you
because you are passing through challenges, pains, and uncomfortable temporal
situations.
Christ Jesus is with you
in the ship (family, church, business, school, and career). It doesn’t matter
whether you are in the church; the storms can attack because the devil also
comes to church to steal, kill and destroy.
Don’t accept the voice of
the enemy that Christ Jesus has deserted you to live on your own. The King of
Kings and Lord is with you in the ship, so do not give up on life in the stormy
season.
2. Until you call on
Christ Jesus, nothing happens.
If you read the entire
holy text (See Mark 4:35-41), you will realize that Christ Jesus was asleep
amid the storms. Let me share what I learned from those holy scriptures. Until
you call on the name of Christ in the storms, nothing happens.
Maybe you have concluded
that Christ Jesus has ignored you in the painful season. You may have given up
or decided to give up on the Christian faith as you read my article. Don’t give
up on the Christian faith because the storms remain until you call on Christ
Jesus to deliver you.
Christ Jesus was
comfortably sleeping within the storms, yet the disciples were at the point of
death. The revelation behind the holy scriptures is that you limit the hands of
God when you fail to call on Christ Jesus.
If Christ Jesus is with
you, you don’t have to fear the storms. You have to call on His name with faith.
Hope is good, but you have to call on Christ Jesus when the storms arise. Why
do you think Christ Jesus says we should call on him?
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
God Almighty knows our
needs and wants, yet He tells us to call on Him. Remaining silent in the stormy
season means you can defend yourself. Call on Christ Jesus in prayers, and He
will deliver you.
Don’t allow the storms of
life to consume you before you call on Christ Jesus. That may cost your life. Call
on Christ Jesus when the storms arise. If it is the will of God that you
receive immediate divine assistance, God will intervene.
The disciples of Christ
Jesus would have perished if they failed to call on Christ Jesus. Don’t
conclude that Christ Jesus lied to you. Do not conclude that Christ Jesus has
forsaken you (Meditate on Numbers 23:19, Psalms 89:35, Luke 21:33, Titus 1:2).
Call on the name of Christ
Jesus, and He will respond (Meditate on Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13,
Revelation 3:20). Assuming you need help and you know someone that can assist
you. How will the helper know you need his assistance by keeping silent?
Until you tell the person
your needs and wants, he cannot help you. Although God knows the secrets of our
hearts, He expects us to call on Him in prayers (See Jeremiah 33:3). Pray to the
Heavenly Father from the deepest part of your heart, and He will respond.
Keep silent about the
situation, and the storms will swallow you. It is said that “a closed mouth is
a closed destiny.” Act like the disciples of Christ Jesus. Call on Christ Jesus,
and He will answer. Glory to God!
3. Christ Jesus taught his
disciples (Christian believers) the declaration law.
Reading from the holy
text (See Mark 4:35-41), you would understand that when the disciples
confronted Christ Jesus, He immediately rebuked the wind and silenced the sea.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they
awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be
still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mark
4:38-39 KJV
We can learn the
principle of confronting storms from Christ Jesus. Until you speak to the
storms swallowing your faith, you remain a captive of the enemy. If you are
born again, Christ Jesus lives in you in the person of the Holy Spirit.
Whatever Christ Jesus can
do, you can do because He lives in you (Meditate on John 14:12). You have the living
Word, and the Word is Christ Jesus. Whatever Christ Jesus can do, the Word can
also do.
But there are some
spiritual laws you must know and experience to reach Christ Jesus’s authority. For
example, the holiness key, sanctification, the key of the anointing, Spirit-led
fasting and prayers, and other spiritual truths are vital keys to higher
spiritual authority.
When storms arise in your
life, speak the promises of God’s Word (Holy Bible) by faith. The power inside
the Word will break the storms limiting your progress. If it is a demonic
attack, the power inside the Word will silence the devil's operations (Meditate
on Jeremiah 23:29).
Build your faith by
feeding on the Word because faith comes by hearing the Word (See Romans 10:17).
When your spirit and soul become one with the Word, the spiritual forces and
storms will recognize your words.
Don’t remain silent
whiles the storms dominate you, confront the storms with the Word as led by the
Holy Spirit. If you are passive in the seasons of storms, you remain a captive
of the enemy. Also, note that some storms come from Christ Jesus, evil habits, carnal
Christians and the unbelievers.
The storms of Christ Jesus
are in to build your faith in the kingdom. Like Moses, David, Job, Joseph, Paul,
and several martyrs of the faith. These vessels passed through a series of
storms but never gave up (See Hebrews 11). Face every storm with the Word. Act
like Christ Jesus. He confronted the storms by decreeing the Word.
4. Christ Jesus addressed
the issue of fear.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is
it that ye have no faith?
Mark 4:40 KJV
Fear is one the greatest
enemy of life. In the book of Timothy, Apostle Paul addressed the truth of
fear.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of
love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
In his letters to
Timothy, Paul described that God had not given us the spirit of fear but of
power, love, and a sound mind which means that fear is a spirit. Anytime you
allow the spirit of fear to dominate you, you open the portal for wicked evil
spirits to torment and manipulate you.
Christ Jesus saw fear in
his disciples, so he encouraged them not to allow the spirit of fear to
dominate them. One truth about the spirit of fear is that it leads to bondage
and destruction. If you don’t want the storms of life to overwhelm you, close
the door of fear. For more profound revelations on fear, get my book, the mysteries of fear.
5. Christ Jesus addressed
the issue of faith.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no
faith?
Mark
4:40 KJV
One truth you cannot ignore
in the Christian journey is the virtue of faith. Apostle Paul wrote that God
could not walk and live with them without faith in his letters to the Jewish
Christian believers.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews
11:6 KJV
Faith is one of the invisible
virtues to break the storms of life. Until you put on the shield of faith, you remain
a captive of the enemy. The devil seeks to destroy our faith with fear
(Meditate on 1 Peter 5:8-9).
Christ Jesus knew, His
disciples allowed fear to dominate their hearts, making way for the storms to
destroy their lives. In the Christian journey, it takes faith to walk with the Trinity
because we are imperfect beings striving after the perfection of the kingdom (Meditate
on Matthew 5:48).
Without the shield of
faith, the arrows of fear, accusations, rejections, injustice, and all forms of
evil seeds can sink your hope in Christ Jesus, the Word and church. One of the
best ways to grow your faith is to keep hearing the Word of God.
Download the Holy Bible
on your electronic device and consistently read it (Meditate on 1 Peter 2:2,
Hebrews 4:12, Joshua 1:8). Download an audio version of the Holy Bible and consistently
listen to it.
Connect with Christian
believers who are full of faith because iron sharpens iron. You can also listen
to the inspired teachings of your pastor to grow your faith in the Word (Christ
Jesus in written words). Read my book titled how to unlock the gates of faith
for more profound revelations. When the Word occupies your spirit and soul, the
storms of life will not dominate you.
