24 Ways to Discern Genuinely born-again Christian believers |How to detect a Believer in Christ| - 2
In my previous
article, I enumerated seven biblical ways to identify genuine Christian
believers. I encourage you to read the article if you have not read it. Development
in technology, science, and advancement in fashion and lifestyle has become a
blessing and, at the same time, a barrier to many people on earth.
Today, we find it
challenging to differentiate Christian believers from unbelievers because we
have ignored some truths in life. I would have become a Muslim, Buddhist,
Atheist, or belong to any other group if I had been born into a specific tribe.
Glory to the King of
Kings and Lord of Lords that I was born into a Christian home. I thank the Holy
Spirit for helping me to continue in the faith. Probably I would be in a
different field serving strange gods but thank God I belong to the Kings of
Lord and Lord of Lords (Jesus the Christ).
I should have been dead by now because of the attacks I
receive in the realms of the Spirit. Christ Jesus and the holy angels always
protect me from demonic monitoring spirits and plans of wicked human beings.
Child of God, it is a
great thing to serve the Lord. Joining the kingdom of God and building it with
the seed of the Holy Spirit is a great privilege. Use your energy, resources,
and time to advance the kingdom of God, and you will receive uncommon
blessings.
I planned to write some of my
principles in writing books and articles. However, my previous
article forced me to write this article. Request my book on how to write and publish books;
I have laid down some fundamental foundations of writing, publishing, and a few
marketing channels.
You can connect with my message on youtube for more wisdom keys. So, in this article, I will share seven biblical keys to discern true Christian believers. We have many wolves in sheep
clothing nowadays, and it takes wisdom to detect the true vessels of Christ
Jesus.
Most people pretend in
church services and various social gatherings. If you are not full of the Holy
Spirit, some people can deceive you that they are Christian believers while not
born again. Even in the time of Job, it was recorded that Satan was among the
angels of God.
Satan stood in the
presence of God because he had a report. This should alert you that Satan and
his minions can also come to church. It doesn’t matter how beautiful or
anointed your church is; the devil and his cohorts can enter and cause trouble.
It takes wisdom and
discernment of the Holy Spirit to detect the true children of God. Check out my
article, the 45 types of Christian believers, for more profound revelations. A vessel
needs the wisdom keys in this article to grow in the Lord and escape the enemy’s
trap.
Become a blessing by sharing the link to this article on your social media platforms and other
channels available. I have a lot to write because I have laid down several
foundations, drafts, and outlines of articles and books on my phone, laptop,
and journals.
Remember me in prayers so
I can write and publish the right article and book at the appointed time. As I stated
at the beginning of the article, I wanted to write a different article. However,
my previous article pushed me to write this article. Below are some
of the biblical ways to detect genuine Christian believers.
1. Real Christian believers have power over the devil and his minions.
Ye are of God, little
children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he
that is in the world.
1
John 4:4 KJV
One unique characteristic
of Christian believers is that we have uncommon power and authority over the
devil and his minions. I learned that power is delegated authority. The other
way round should be an authority is delegated power.
The choice is yours. You
can choose the best definition of power and authority. We have levels of power
and authority, and one of the best powers we can possess in life is spiritual
power. Some people use their money as a source of power and authority.
Others use their position
to dominate others. Some people use seduction, physical strength, psychology,
advanced knowledge, and several ways to control others. As I stated, spiritual
power is the greatest because the spiritual world has greater control over the
earth realm.
Do you know that Satan
and his minions have some powers? If you disbelieve in this truth, get my book.
Should we fight for
more profound revelations? The truth is that Satan and his minions control the
unbelievers in several ways.
I know some unbelievers
use charms and several sacrifices to control some demons. However, they are
limited in power because higher demons dominate the lesser ones. Genuine Christian
believers have dominion over all demonic strongholds.
True Christian believers
do not fear the devil and his cohorts. It is unbelievers that fear Satan and
his minions. In my series of books, dominating the enemy's systems, I have enumerated some master
keys Christian believers can use to walk in victory.
Unbelievers are slaves to
the demons, but Christian believers are kings over demons. Christian believers
do not fear when the enemy comes upon them because they have the greater one
backing them.
However, unbelievers walk
and live in the curse, fear, and bondage of the devil because they do not have
the backing of the Holy Spirit and angels of God. Anytime you encounter someone
that always expresses fear in the presence of demons, analyze that such a
person is not born again or is a baby Christian believer.
True Christian believers challenge
the devil and his minions in the face with no fear. Every demon submits to the
commands of Christian believers. Halleluiah! Meditate on this holy scripture
for more profound revelations.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:19 KJV
2. Real Christian believers worship God in Spirit and truth.
…the hour cometh, and now is, when the true
worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father
seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.
John
4:23-24 KJV
When the woman of Samaria
encountered Christ Jesus, she received a revelation. This woman had a belief
that God was worshipped in temples built by men. Well, she was telling the
truth, but, in our time, Christ Jesus has made us understand that we (his children)
will reverence him from the heart.
Many people claim to be
Christian believers but do not have time for the Holy Spirit. Genuine Christian
believers know that the actual temple is the heart, so they keep the place
pure. True Christian believers do not defile the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Genuine Christian
believers worship God with understanding. Unlike the unbelievers who only
worship God with their lips, mind, and body. Unbelievers glorify God to prove a
point, but genuine Christian believers glorify God with a grateful heart.
Genuine Christian
believers are more concerned about the inner temple than the outer temple.
However, unbelievers are more concerned about the outer temple than the inner
temple. Like a graveyard, the casket may look beautiful; deep within the casket
are full of disgusting odors and worms.
Genuine Christian
believers prepare the inner temple and work on the outer temple with the help
of the Holy Spirit. They allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in their life.
Whatever they do, they do it unto God, not unto man. Check out my book, how to worship God in Spirit and truth, for more profound revelations.
3. Real Christian believers obeys and follow the teachings of Christ Jesus.
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his
brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand
without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and
who are my brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold
my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do
the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister,
and mother
Matthew 12:46-50 KJV
Christ Jesus had a call
from his earthly mother (Mary) and siblings whiles ministering the Word to his
disciples. When Christ Jesus heard that his family needed him, he replied that
his real family is those that do the will of the Heavenly Father.
If you read the
scriptures carefully, you will understand that Christ Jesus teaches us some
important discipleship lessons. The fact that you were born into a Christian
home does not mean you are a genuine Christian believer.
The fact that your family
is the leader in the church does not mean you are a Christian believer. The
fact that your father, mother, uncle, or close friends are pastors does not
mean you are a Christian believer.
The fact that you attend
church or play an important role in the church does not mean you are a
Christian believer. Genuine Christian believers do the Heavenly Father's will,
and what is the heavenly Father's will? The Father's will is to obey and follow
the teachings of Christ Jesus.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John
14:15 KJV
Genuine Christian
believers value the teachings of Christ Jesus above any other teachings. Anyone that willfully and
consistently rejects the teachings of Christ Jesus is not a Christian believer.
Meditate on this holy scripture for more profound revelations.
Whosoever transgresseth,
and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the
doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2
John 1:9 KJV
4. Anyone that boldly confess Christ Jesus as his Saviour and Lord of his life is a real Christian believer.
Whosoever shall confess
that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1
John 4:15 KJV
No man can serve two
masters faithfully. He will be unfaithful to one in his dealings. These are the
words of Christ Jesus (See Luke 16:13). Genuine Christian believers have no
other God apart from Christ Jesus, and we know Christ Jesus talked about the
mystery of the trinity (See the book of John in the Holy Scriptures).
Some people do not
believe that Christ Jesus is God Almighty. Others believe that Christ Jesus is
a prophet and one of the holy angels. Genuine Christian believers do not
categorize Christ Jesus as a prophet or a holy angel.
Christ Jesus is God
Almighty. He is the Son of God in the trinity. I encourage you to read the
Athanasian creed for more profound revelation. Although a section in the
Athanasian Creed states that the catholic faith is the only way to salvation, I
cannot entirely agree with that statement.
So, in summary, genuine
Christian believers confess with their tongue and heart that Christ Jesus is their
Saviour and Lord of their lives, and the confession reflects in their daily
activities. Is Christ Jesus the Saviour and Lord or your life?
5. Real Christian believers know the voice of the Holy Spirit.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither
shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John
10:27-28 KJV
Genuine Christian
believers can distinguish the voice of evil spirits, the voice of the human
soul, and other external voices from the voice of the Holy Spirit because they belong to God. As Christ Jesus
said, His children hear his voice and follow him.
This means people who do
not hear the voice of Christ Jesus (the Holy Spirit) are not children of God. Genuine
Christian believers follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They have an
assurance of eternal life.
True Christian believers
have the good nature of sheep. They are humble, leadable, meek, wise,
intelligent, and obedient to godly authority, unlike unbelievers who have the
bad personality of goats, wolves, and other wild animals.
Christ Jesus knows the
real vessels in the body. You may claim to know Christ Jesus, but does He know
you? If you are a genuine Christian believer, Christ Jesus, the Heavenly Father,
and the Holy Spirit bear witness.
Other true Christian believers full of the Holy Spirit can identify themselves with you because of the inner workings of the Holy Spirit.
- Do you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit?
- Do you follow the voice of the Holy Spirit?
- Do genuine Christian believers identify with you?
- Do you have a conviction of eternal life in your heart?
- Do the Holy Spirit, Christ Jesus, and the Heavenly Father bears witness of you?
- Do you have the characteristics of a sheep?
Meditate on this holy
scripture for more profound revelations
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans
8:14 KJV
6. Real Christian
believers are peacemakers.
Blessed are the
peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew
5:9 KJV
One unique personality of
genuine Christian believers is that they have a peaceful and humble atmosphere.
You feel special when encountering true Christian believers because they carry
a presence.
Unlike unbelievers who
cause trouble anywhere, genuine Christian believers portray a godly attitude
that sparks unity and growth. True Christian believers promote peace because
they are one with the peacemaker (the Holy Spirit). Are you a promoter of peace
or conflict?
7. Real Christian
believers are full of good deeds
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels
with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate
them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the
left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed
of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave
me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in
prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and
clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren,
ye have done it unto me.
Matthew
25:31-40 KJV
If you study the above scriptures with the mind of the Holy Spirit, you would understand that Christ Jesus was describing real vessels in the body, and we can see the characteristics of genuine Christian believers.
- Genuine Christian believers have the features of sheep; whiles unbelievers have the nature of goats.
- Genuine Christian believers help people emotionally, psychologically, financially, spiritually, socially, and physically as we can see from the holy scriptures (feeding the hungry, visiting those in prisons, visiting the sick, clothing the naked, and helping strangers).
- Preaching and teaching the Word is another way of feeding the hungry (those who lack the Word).
- Interceding for others is another way of clothing the naked, delivering those in prisons, and healing the sick.
Genuine Christian
believers do these things from their hearts.
