Jesus is Lord and Savior

I did not plan to write this article because it was not in my schedule. I wrote this article (Jesus is Lord and Savior) last two years but cannot find it in my archives. I have been searching for this blog post because someone needed the wisdom keys in that article.

I made the mistake of not backing up the Word document of that article on my external hard drive and other storage devices. I answered a question on Quora, and that question related to that blog post (lost article).

I wanted to connect the link of that article to the answer I gave on Quora but couldn’t find it. Since the Holy Spirit inspired me to write that article, I will rewrite it.

There might be some differences but let’s keep the ball rolling. This is a short read, so I encourage you to share the link to this article with your loved ones. We often hear people claiming to be Christian believers. Yet, they have not accepted Christ Jesus as the Savior and Lord of their lives.

Some Christian believers only see Christ Jesus as their Savior. It is a great error to receive Christ Jesus as your Savior and ignore His Lordship over your life. Christ Jesus did not only die for our sins; He rose on the third day to reconcile us with the Heavenly Father.

Baby Christians only see Christ Jesus as their Savior. It takes mature Christian believers to live beyond that mindset. Christ Jesus must also be the Lord over your life.

Christ Jesus must be the Lord over your business, job, family, and every endeavor of life. If you only see Christ Jesus as your Saviour, your reverence for Him and input for the church will be low because you don’t see His true nature.

It is like a coin. If you only relate to one side of the coin, someone (false Christians and unbelievers) can deceive you with a fake one. However, if you know the two sides of the coin, no one can fool you with a counterfeit coin.

That is how Christian believers are to act. Christ Jesus is the Lamb of God and Lion of the tribe of Judah. This means Christ Jesus has a lamb and a lion personality.

Christ Jesus is God Almighty and, simultaneously, the Son of God. It is a mystery in the Trinity. The danger of one-sided Christianity can make you walk in deception and darkness.

As some Christian believers only emphasize grace. These Christian believers forget that grace walks with the truth. The law was given to Moses, but grace and truth came from Christ Jesus (meditate on John 1:17 and Romans 6:1-23).

It is like eating an unbalanced diet. An unbalanced diet can make you sick because the body needs other food nutrients to work effectively and efficiently. It is good to accept Christ Jesus as your Savior.

However, you become incomplete in your Christian life when you ignore the Lordship of Christ Jesus over your life. If you accept Christ Jesus as the Saviour and Lord of your life, you will do things that will edify Him and His kingdom.

Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth that all things are lawful. However, not all things are expedient (acceptable, profitable, good, permissible, helpful, and lawful) (see 1 Corinthians 6:12, 1 Corinthians 10:23). Is Christ Jesus the Savior and Lord of your life? Meditate on these Holy Scriptures for more profound revelations.

 

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
