Introduction
In this article, I will provide some biblical ways to attract the
‛âzar (help) of God. I
will further give you some reasons people cannot attract the help of God. In my
previous
articles, I gave out some revelations about the help of God and the help
of humankind.
I will add more revelation in this article. Become a blessing by sharing
the link to this article so others can learn the ways and thoughts of God. You

Judge Cases, for more profound revelation.
The Proseuchomai
of Christ Jesus
And he [Christ
Jesus] came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of
Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not
into temptation.
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down,
and prayed,
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it
were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he
found them sleeping for sorrow,
Luke 22:39-45 KJV [Emphasis Added]
Christ
Jesus saw the pain,
rejection, and abuse he was about to endure, so he prayed to His Heavenly
Father to help him. Although several prophets prophesied the works of Christ
Jesus, Christ Jesus had to fulfill them.
Christ Jesus could escape the crucifixion because he had his own will.
Like Adam and Eve, they had the free will to obey and disobey the will of God.
They violated the will of God and became prey to the enemy.
In the same way, Christ Jesus could have rejected God's will and escaped
the sinners' abuse. After all, Christ Jesus lived a sinless life. He did not
offend anybody. Christ Jesus had the right to reject the punishment of
humankind because he was holy.
Christ Jesus could justify himself before the Heavenly Father. However,
Luke records that Christ Jesus prayed (proseuchomai) till
his sweat was like a clot of blood. He prayed earnestly (passionately and persistently).
Christ Jesus poured his heart unto the Heavenly Father for help. In
verse forty-two of Luke chapter twenty-two, Christ Jesus said, “if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless,
not my will, but thine, be done.”
Christ Jesus told the Heavenly Father that the cup of crucifixion should
be taken from him if possible. However, not his will. Christ Jesus desired not
to bear the burden of the cross. However, it was the will of the Heavenly
Father for Christ Jesus to drink the cup of crucifixion.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it
were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Luke 22:44 KJV
Christ Jesus was in agony (affliction, hopelessness, pain, and sorrow).
His sweat fell to the ground like clots of blood. The sweat coming from Christ
Jesus fell to the ground like blood falling from a man who has had a violent
accident.
I have been afflicted by the devil several times. In the season of
affliction, I felt hopeless and restless. The world looks unpleasant when walking
through the valleys of affliction (despair).
However, I have not seen human sweat falling onto the ground like drops
of blood. I have sweat several times, especially in the harmattan season. In
Ghana, we have two seasons. The rainy and harmattan season.
The weather becomes cold in the rainy season, especially in mountainous
places. In the harmattan season, the weather becomes hot. Most water bodies and
plants dry up in this season.
If you don’t have an electronic fan or an air conditioner in the
harmattan season, you will sweat profusely in your room. I know how sweat works
on the body. If you are unlucky and you get a fever or malaria, you will sweat
profusely on your bed.
We had sports activities when I was in primary and secondary school.
During that season, some of us play football, handball, racing, and several
games. In the season of sports, my sweat can make my cloth wet.
Sometimes the electricity company can switch off the light in the middle
of the night. You will sweat on your bed if you don’t have a generator to power
your electronic fan or air conditioner.
I have sweat on my bed several times in the middle of the night, and
it’s uncomfortable. If Christ Jesus’ sweat could fall to the ground like a clot
of blood, then you can imagine the intensity of his prayers.
Christ Jesus knew his strength would fail him, so he depended on the
Heavenly Father. There are times our strength cannot win specific battles. In
that season, we must rely on the Holy Spirit.
It is at this season that we seek the face of God through prayers. Like
Christ Jesus, he did not depend on his strength. Christ Jesus had supernatural
powers. However, He relied on the Heavenly Father.
If Christ Jesus depended on his human strength, he could have failed. It
is time to depend on the Holy Spirit because your strength cannot solve that
problem. You need the hand (help) of God in your situation.
If God does not intervene, you will not win the battle. Call on God.
Release your passion and pain to God
in prayers. God answers prayers. When you seek the face of God like
Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit will help you.
The
enochos of
self-trust
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians
4:13 KJV
Apostle Paul could do mighty works because he depended on the strength
(grace) of the Holy Spirit. People who put their strength in themselves and
reject God's help become the devil’s prey.
When you trust in yourself (talent, assets, family or friends),
disappointment will not be far from you. When you trust the Lord, you will
receive an appointment. So, it goes in this way; depending
on self
leads to frustration, whiles depending on God leads
to favour.
On the other hand, depending on humankind and self leads to
disappointment, depression, sorrow, regret, and sadness, while
depending on God leads to appointment. You are weak to rely on your strength. How long can you work a day?
This should tell you you need a supernatural hand (the
of ‛âzar of God).
Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some [others],
epistles of commendation to you, or [letters] of commendation from you?
Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
[Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of
Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the
living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of
ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;
2 Corinthians 3:1-5 KJV
In verse five of the above Holy Scriptures, Apostle Paul writes that his
strength is not in himself but in the Lord. You cannot become a person of value
without the help of God. Anyone who became valuable had a touch (help) from a
supernatural being (holy or unholy spiritual forces).
When you reject the help of God and put your trust in your money,
assets, family, and job, you exclude yourself from the shadows of the Almighty
God. You become a threat (enochos) to yourself and society when you forsake the help of
God. Absolute self-trust is a seed of pride. The moment you take your eyes off the
Holy Spirit, you become the prey of evil spirits.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his
might.
Ephesians
6:10 KJV
Apostle Paul states that we must be strong in the Lord and in the power
of his might. Our strength is in the Lord. Our source of power is Christ Jesus
(the Holy Spirit) because he is the source of power.
It is time to put your faith in the Lord because you are weak to help
yourself. When you build faith in the Lord and His Word (the Holy Scriptures),
the Holy Spirit takes your weaknesses and builds his strength in you. When this
happens, God's help (power, favour, blessings) will begin to flow in your life
to accomplish great things.
The Pistis of King David
I will lift up
mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh
from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Our help is in the
name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Put not your trust
in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Psalms
121:1-3 KJV
David (King of Israel) knew the help of God. He knew his strength was
weak, so he depended on God. Note that David was King. He had numerous gold, silver,
precious and expensive stones, servants, army men, wives, children, and slaves.
King David could have depended on these assets. However, he did not
allow his assets to control him. David made this profound statement in verse
three of Psalms hundred and forty-six verses three.
Put not your trust
in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Psalms
146:3 KJV
David stated that we should not trust people of authority or humankind
because they cannot help us. If you put your trust in people of power or humanity,
you will lose the help of God. If King David, with valuable gold, servants,
wives, children, military men, and servants, depended on God, why do you depend
on yourself or those temporal assets?
It is time to take your mind and heart off your gold, children, wives,
money and other temporal assets because they have an expiry date. Depend on God
as King David did. You will receive a supernatural touch (help).
Five things that hinder you from the help of God
1. Willfully working evil
Behold, God will
not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
Job
8:20 KJV
People who work wickedly cannot receive the help of God. If you are the type
that destroys innocent people, animals, and God’s creation, you cannot receive
the help of God. Morally corrupt vessels and people of no integrity cannot
attract God's help (blessings).
Corrupt people enjoying pleasures (mansions, jet planes, cars, money,
and tourism) did not receive them from God Almighty (Yahweh). They used an
illegal way to get those assets. If an evil person is “prospering,” do not envy
such a person because his time is near. God has set a time for that wicked
vessel or group. If you forsake the path of the wicked, God will not leave you. Freely download and read my book, the mysteries of evil seeds for more profound revelation.
2. The seed of unbelief
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is
not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
Matthew 13:57-58 KJV
Christ Jesus raised the dead. He walked on rivers, silenced a storm with
a word and did many mighty works. However, he could not help most of his people
because of doubt (faithlessness).
One reason people cannot receive God's help is fear and doubt. God works
with people of faith. When you walk and live outside the realm of faith, you
cannot receive God's touch (help).
Faith is supernatural currency. When the holy spiritual forces see your
faith, they act. When the godly spiritual forces see doubt and fear, they
distance themselves from you. However, you attract evil spiritual forces when
you walk and live in fear and doubt.
If you are going to attract the power, blessings, favour, wisdom, grace,
mercies, and help of God, apply the key of faith. Check out my free book, how
to unlock the gates of faith, for more profound revelations.
3. Replacing darkness with light
They mar my path,
they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.
Job
30:13 KJV
Some people cannot receive the help of God because they are lawless.
They have no regard for the Word of God (the Holy Scriptures). People who fight
against the true church of God cannot receive the help of God.
People who destroy the reputation of God’s servants cannot walk and live in the blessings of God. People who destroy things that bring the glory of God cannot walk in the blessings of God.
If you are a worker of iniquity, repent
because God’s help cannot reach you (Meditate on Isaiah 48:22; 57:21, Job 15:20-24).
4. Lack of Knowledge
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast
rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to
me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy
children.
Hosea 4:6 KJV
God created our minds for a purpose. He did not create us to behave like
robots. God created our minds so we can make important decisions. God works
with wisdom. If you are going to receive the help of God, you must apply
wisdom.
When you work with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, you will receive the
help of God. For example, you cannot expect God to brush your teeth in the
morning and evening. God has given you the wisdom to do that every morning,
evening, and after meals.
Failure to brush your teeth can lead to tooth decay. In the same way,
the help of God corresponds to the application of wisdom and knowledge. As
stated in the Holy Scriptures (see Hosea 4:6), ignorance leads to destruction.
If you lack knowledge, God will not allow you to become a priest
(leader) in his house or workplace. You will not receive the help of God if you
don’t use wisdom. Many Christian believers are perishing because they are not
applying wisdom.
Some people cannot receive the help of God because of their mindset. God’s
help comes in many ways. It comes supernaturally. The help of God comes when you
apply wisdom. Haven’t you seen unbelieving countries and sinners “prospering?”
These unbelieving countries and sinners are “prospering” because they apply
wisdom and knowledge. It is time to use the wisdom of the Holy Spirit (the
Holy Scriptures) because God is waiting for you to enforce his Word.
When you enforce the principles of the Word (the
Holy Bible), supernatural help will come your way. For more profound
revelations, check out my articles on the
role of knowledge and power in the field of fruitful leadership and the
necessity of work in the body of Christ.
Seven Ways to Attract the Help of God
The contentment key
[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and
be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5 KJV
Contentment means you are sufficient in your current situation (not in the
poverty state). You are content if you are not envious of people and their
assets. God has promised us in the Word that He will not forsake us if we are
content.
If you are content, you press forward without destroying or envying
others. Contentment is a spiritual magnet that attracts the help of God. You
don’t become jealous when people are prospering if you are content.
You don’t destroy people when they are rising if you are content. God
will deploy his angels to help you when he sees you are content. It is a
supernatural key that works irrespective of your background.
If God has promised in his Word that he will never leave nor forsake
people who are content, it is final! If you reverse the above Holy Scriptures,
you will realize God forsakes discontented people. Align yourself with the divine
promise (contentment) if you want to receive the help of God. For a more
profound revelation about contentment, freely download and read my book on how
to break the spirit of inferiority.
Pursue the Lord
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of
thine heart.
Psalms 37:4 KJV
To receive and attract the help of God, you must have an affection for the Lord. If you
love God (Christ Jesus) with all your heart, body and resources, he
will be interested in your affairs. As stated in the above Holy Scriptures,
anyone who delights himself in the Lord, the Holy Spirit or holy angels will
provide his needs and wants.
You cannot receive the help of God if you don’t love the Trinity. If you don’t
love the things God loves and hate the things God hates, you cannot receive the
‛âzar (help) of God. Do you want God and his angels to intervene in
your situation, then delight yourself in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the teachings
of the Word, the church, and his faithful servants?
…as it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
- Do you love God (the Holy Spirit) with all your heart?
- Do you cherish the church with all your heart?
- Do you love God’s servants with all your heart?
- Do you love God’s creation with all your heart?
If yes to these questions, prepare for help. Meditate on first
Corinthians chapter two, verses nine and Psalm thirty-seven, verses four for
more profound revelations.
Approach the Lord
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give
him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children,
how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them
that ask him?
Matthew 7:7-11 KJV
The Holy Spirit desires fellowship, and one of the ways to connect with the
Holy Spirit is through prayers and spiritual songs. When you ask the Lord for
help, he will not deny it. You can hope and still not receive from God.
Your hope becomes relevant when you put them into action. Until you ask
the Lord for help, he cannot help you. Until you seek, you cannot find. Until
you knock, the angels of God will not open the gate of heaven (blessings).
God is waiting for your request. He knows your needs and wants. However,
God wants you to ask him. God wants you to ask him because he desires a quality
relationship. It is time to present your case in the courts
of heaven.
God is ready to help you. Migrate from the realm of hope to the realm of
faith because it takes faith to move God. The moment you ask, seek and knock,
the help of God will come. Naturally, some people are wicked, and these people
have children. If wicked people can provide for their children, how much more a
lovely and holy Heavenly Father? Ask the Heavenly Father in the name of Christ
Jesus. The help will come.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty
things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah 33:3 KJV
The storehouse of God has no shortage. God is saying, call unto me, and
I will answer. He is ready to show you great and mighty things. Are you calling
unto the Lord?
The seven master keys of King David
Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged
Solomon his son, saying,
I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew
thyself a man;
And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep
his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as
it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou
doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
1
Kings 2:1-3
Before King David died (ascended to heaven), he gave his son (Solomon)
seven master keys to attract the help of God.
1. The courage (strongness) key.
2. Keeping the charge of the Lord.
3. Walking the ways of God.
4. Keeping the ordinance of God.
5. Keeping the commandment of God.
6. Keeping the judgement of God and
7. Observing the testimonies of God.
To receive the help of God, you must be bold and courageous because you
will encounter abusive
and unreasonable people. It would help if you walked in divine
power because you would face people with evil powers.
You must live in the holiness of the Holy Spirit because you will
encounter satanic agents (prostitutes, womanizers, lesbians, gays, and several
defiled people) who are ready to trade the blessing of God for temporal
pleasure.
You can download and read my free book on how to become a perfect
Christian believer or check out my articles on the purity of life and
the Holy Spirit for more profound revelations.
You must keep the godly customs delivered to you by God and the church
because you will encounter wolves
in sheep's clothing who will lead you astray. You must love God and
your neighbour with your heart because you will meet unrepentant sinners who
will push you away from the Holy Spirit and the church.
You must walk in the ways of the Holy Spirit and follow the teachings of
Christ Jesus because the devil will accuse you when you violate the light of
God (the Holy Scriptures). One reason Solomon prospered was that he followed
the godly counsel of his father (David).
Although parents, fathers and people give advice, it is not every piece
of advice you must follow. Some advice goes against the Word of God. If the advice
challenges or contradicts God's Word (the Holy Scriptures), reject it.
David’s advice aligned with the Word of God. When Solomon obeyed his
father's godly advice, he received God's help (blessings). In the same way, when
you can follow the seven master keys David gave to his son (Solomon), you will
attract the help of God.
