Introduction

Everybody needs ‛âzar. Even God Almighty (Yahweh) needs ‛âzar. If you are going to advance to the next stage in life, you need ‛âzar. ‛Âzar comes into our lives in several ways. It takes wisdom, faith, knowledge, and discernment to recognize ‛âzar.

Without ‛âzar, domestic animals would become susceptible to wicked people and wild animals. ‛Âzar is the Hebrew word for help. We have the help of God, the “help” of the devil, the help of spiritual forces, and the help of humankind.

Each ‛âzar (help) has spiritual laws. Christ Jesus needed ‛âzar ‛ in his ministry. If Christ Jesus needed ‛âzar, then everyone needs ‛Âzar. You need help. I need help. We need ‛âzar (help) to do certain things in life.

This is one reason God created two hands, two eyes, two ears, two brains, and two legs. The body works as a team. Without the help of the other, it breaks down. The fact that we need help does not mean we should ignore the principles of God.

Some people use ungodly ways to attract ‛âzar. In the long run, they reap the unpleasant harvest. In this article, I will use several passages from Holy Scriptures to broaden your understanding of âzar.

The doctrine that God always uses humankind to bless others creates too much attention on men. This doctrine is making people lose faith in God. People are placing their faith in men. Our faith must be in God! (Meditate on Jeremiah 7:5-7, Numbers 23:19).

I believe in the help of humankind. However, I don’t put all my faith in people. God has several ways of helping humanity. God can help us without using another man. I will write more about God’s help (divine intervention) in this article.

Many people are putting their faith and hope into humankind. When you put all your faith in humanity, you limit the help of God. God is a jealous God. He does not share his glory with any man.

The jealousy of God does not lead to evil. God’s jealousy is rooted in holiness. God can create supernatural miracles without the input of humankind, so don’t put all your faith in a man.

The person you have placed all your faith in has limitations. That person also needs the help of God. The truth is that everybody needs help. It doesn’t matter how rich, famous, and powerful the person is; that person has needs and wants.

You may not physically see some people's needs because some people can pretend to be okay. In the secret place, they cry and desire help. Although God uses men to help, nurture and mentor other men, God can help, nurture and mentor us directly without using another man.

Adam is an example. He received direct nurturing and mentoring from God. Abraham had no spiritual father. God mentored and nurtured him without the use of another man. God mentored and nurtured Noah directly from heaven.

Talk of Daniel. He played a significant leadership role in Babylon. Daniel had no spiritual father or mentor. God nurtured and mentored him directly from heaven. Elijah, Eli, and several saints of God had no spiritual fathers, yet they could walk with God.

Having a spiritual father and mentor is excellent. However, some “spiritual fathers” abuse their spiritual sons. In our time, we have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our guide, teacher, and comforter (see John 14:26; 16:13).

We have the Word of God as a guide (see Psalms 119:105). God has several ways of nurturing and mentoring his children. Maybe your calling might not be that you should have an instructive spiritual father.

The Holy Spirit has a way of helping (nurturing) you. Some people, too, are weak in the Spirit. These vessels need genuine spiritual fathers to help them in life. God can help you directly from heaven.

The Holy Spirit is your helper. Christ Jesus is your helper. The Heavenly Father is your helper. The corrupt systems of the world, the lustful desires of the flesh and soul, and the demonic spirits can become a barrier in your life. However, the ‛âzar (assistance, help, and relief) of the Holy Spirit is unlimited. In the book of Romans, Apostle Paul emphasized the help of God.

The sunantilambanomai of the Holy Spirit

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.

Romans 8:26-27 KJV

Naturally, we are weak in the flesh. We don’t even know our needs and wants. We don’t know how to pray. However, the Holy Spirit knows our weaknesses. The Holy Spirit knows us more than we know ourselves.

The Holy Spirit knows our needs and wants. When we pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. When we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit sunantilambanomai (helps) us.

O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me [is] thine help.

Hosea 13:9 KJV

Our sunantilambanomai is in the Holy Spirit. No one can help us better than the Holy Spirit because He knows everything about us. Men may help you. Their help will still be incomplete because they don’t know everything about you.

Men can temporarily make you happy, peaceful, and joyful. In the long run, you begin to crave help. This should tell you that the help of humankind has limitations. Some people marry hoping that they will become happy.

After marriage, they realize that marriage couldn’t solve their problems. Some people think money will solve their problems. After acquiring the money, they realized that money couldn’t solve their problems.

Some thought acquiring mansions, yachts, jets, cars, buildings, electronic games, and things of the world would complete their lives. After acquiring these temporal things, they realized that those things couldn’t complete their lives.

Some people thought acquiring institutional certificates would feel the gap of hopelessness. After getting these perishable certificates, their lives became more miserable. Numerous people are in pain.

People are searching for the meaning of life. Some are in hospitals seeking medical attention. Some people are in psychiatric hospitals and mortuaries because they can’t get the help of God.

Some people are in nightclubs, while some are in deep sin. Amid these things, they realize they need something (the help of God) to complete their lives. You may have things of this world.

If you lack God's help (power and wisdom), you are the poorest person on earth (see Revelation 3:17). Christ Jesus stated that if a man gains the whole world and loses his soul, he has lost the greatest asset.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:26 KJV

Living in this world without the intervention of God is a disaster. You need the help of God (salvation of Christ Jesus). You can do your best to make life comfortable. Your family may show your love and care. Your friends may provide you with your needs and wants. Can I present to you that you need the help of God?

The seeds of Paul and Apollos

Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:5-7 KJV

Apostle Paul knew the secret of God’s help. He knew that without the help of God, his labor would be in vain. Until God gives the increase, your labor is empty. Until God gives life (the strength), you cannot enjoy your labor (money, family, friends, and assets).

Paul planted. Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. It takes the help of God to become a person of value. Before the devil could destroy Job's family, he needed God's permission. God can help you without the use of man.

However, men cannot help you without the approval of God. Men of power can sign and endorse your document. Until God approves it in the celestial city, that document becomes invalid.

There are situations God can use men to help you. He can also help you directly from heaven without the effort of men. I will show from the Holy Spirit Scriptures how God helped several men without the intervention of human beings.

I want you to put your faith in Christ Jesus and His Word. Believe in the sovereignty of God. Divine help is possible. Don’t allow people to abuse you because of the temporal challenges. Don’t allow the temporal things of this world to blind you.

Don’t allow people to use their temporal power, connections, and assets to harass you. Don’t allow the economic crisis to destroy your faith in Christ Jesus. Don’t submit to the enemy’s command because of temporal afflictions. Do not give up because we serve a God of miracles. With God, all things are possible (meditate on Jeremiah 32:26-27, Luke 1:37).

The case of Gideon

Gideon and his men were about to face the Midianites and Amalekites. The Midianites and Amalekites were skilled in warfare. Most of Gideon's warriors feared the battle. At the command of the Lord, God told Gideon to tell his warriors to go home.

God told Gideon to tell his fearful warriors to return to their families. Of thirty-two thousand (32,000) warriors, only three hundred (300) warriors faced the Midianites and the Amalekites.

At the end of the battle, Gideon and his men won the war (See Judges chapters six and seven in the Holy Scriptures). God was alerting Gideon and his men that he could win the battle for them without their input. How can three hundred men defeat a million trained and skilled warriors like the Midianites and Amalekites? It takes the ‛âzar (help) of God!

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help [cometh] from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Psalms 121:1-2 KJV

The psalmist knew his help came from the Lord. Our helper is the Creator of heaven and earth (Christ Jesus). He alone holds the key to deliverance. It takes the help of God to break the strongholds of the enemy. It takes the divine touch of God to break the mountains limiting your glory. In the book of Ezekiel, we see a powerful revelation about the help and power of God.

The mysteries of the dry bones

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo, [they were] very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but [there was] no breath in them.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Ezekiel 37:1-10 KJV

God can make the impossible possible (see Luke 1:37; 18:27). Your situation might look like dry bones. The dry bones symbolize any impossible situation in your life. The dry bones represent your life's limitations, sickness, and affliction.

Prophesy to your dry bones to receive life! Decree and profess the promises of God recorded in the Holy Scriptures. When you speak the Word of God into your dry bones, the Spirit of God will resolve the situation.

Every darkness in your life will receive the unquenchable light of God when you decree and act on the Word as led by the Holy Spirit (meditate on John 1:5). There is nothing the Word of God cannot do.

Your responsibility is to decree the Word with faith. In the book of Genesis chapter one, God spoke light into the darkness. God expects you to speak light and life into the darkness blocking your promised land.

The devil and his minions might have hijacked your promised land. Speak the Word of God with absolute faith. The demons inhabiting your promised land will vacate when you speak out the Word.

The red sea blocking your promised land will bow when you decree and act on the Word of God. The power of God will overflow when you speak the Word of God. When you decree the promises of God into your dry bones, the angels of God will intervene.

The elements of God will respond to your orders when the Word of God comes out of your tongue (meditate on Hebrews 4:12, Jeremiah 23:29, Proverbs 18:21). Experienced and knowledgeable doctors, herbalists, professionals, experts, loved ones, and enemies might have concluded that your case is unsolvable.

What is the Word of God saying about your dry bones? What is the Holy Spirit saying about your dry bones? When you speak the Word and act on them as the Holy Spirit leads, you will receive the help of God!

The boetheo of Apostle Peter

Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth [his] hands to vex certain of the church.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

And when he had apprehended him, he put [him] in prison, and delivered [him] to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon [him], and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from [his] hands.

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and [from] all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Acts 12:1-11 KJV

Herod has already killed James, the brother of John. His next victim was Apostle Peter. This wicked king was ready to destroy the disciples of Christ Jesus. When the disciples of Christ Jesus lifted prayers unto the Lord, He sent an angel to release Apostle Peter.

Your enemies might be stronger than you. They might have connections with higher authorities. Do not allow those connections to intimidate you. God can deliver you when you lift prayers unto him.

If God did it for Apostle Peter, he could do it for you. The Lord has delivered me from several attacks. He can deliver you when you call upon him (meditate Romans 10:13, Isaiah 41:10-14).

Nothing is impossible in the sight of God. You may not have a lawyer to assist you in the case. The enemy might have concluded your case in court. Take your case to the courts of heaven.

When God intervenes, the power of the enemy becomes useless. God will send an angel to boetheo (deliver) you from the enemy's prison. God does not need a man to deliver you if the situation is urgent.

God can bypass human beings. As he did for Apostle Peter, he can do it for you. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His name is I am. He is always present. His goodness and mercies endure forever.

You have to lift prayers unto God. Be consistent in your prayers. God will release an angel into your situation. God will break the protocols of the enemy. Believe with all your heart that God can help you without a man.

The ‛âzar of Apostle Paul and Silas

And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew [them] into the marketplace unto the rulers,

And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat [them].

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast [them] into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Acts 16:19-26 KJV

Apostle Paul and Silas were imprisoned because of the gospel (the good news). Luke recorded that an earthquake dominated the prison when Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God.

The foundations of the prison shook. The prison doors opened. The chains holding the hands and legs of Paul and Silas loosed. That’s the help of God! The elements of God responded to the prayers and praises of Paul and Silas.

God did not use any man to deliver Paul and Silas from prison. He used the earth, air, and power of the angels to set Paul and Silas free. It doesn’t matter the chains holding you. It doesn’t matter the depth, height, and length of the problem.

When you lift prayers and praises unto God, the elements of God will respond. Praises are a seed of sacrifice unto the Lord (see Jeremiah 17:26; 33:11). Anytime we praise and worship God in the beauty of his holiness, miracles occur.

Like Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah, their praises and worship created a miracle for them. Spirit-led and Spirit-filled praises, worship and praises activate God's miracle. God can descend with a mighty force when you worship and praise Him from your heart (see Psalms 22:3).

Stop depending on humankind. Begin worship and praises. Pray and praise God with an understanding heart. Every Jericho wall will fall flat. Every chain holding your deliverance will break. God will intervene without the input of man when you activate this key.

The ‛âzar of Elijah

And Elijah the Tishbite, [who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, [As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that [is] before Jordan.

And it shall be, [that] thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that [is] before Jordan.

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

1 Kings 17:1-6 KJV

If God could feed the prophet (Elijah) with ravens, God could help you without a man. Why do you doubt the help of God? Why do you doubt the power of God? Why have you placed all your faith in humankind?

God used birds of the air to feed a prophet! Some people may call it an act of witchcraft. It is not witchcraft. God is mysterious. He can do whatever pleases him. If ravens brought bread and flesh (fried fish) to Elijah by the hands of the Lord, what can’t He do in your life?

God knew Elijah needed breakfast and supper, so he commanded the ravens to bring bread and roasted animals to Elijah at the appointed time. Where did the ravens get the bread and fried fish from?

God can do the impossible! He can use several channels to help you. If God could use an angel to feed Elijah, and that food could sustain Elijah for forty days and forty nights, what can’t He do for you? (See 1 Kings 19:7-18).

Remember, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The sovereignty of God positions him to do whatever pleases him. He can help you without the input of humankind. Note that God is righteous.

He will not sin in his works. Men may not understand your deliverance. They may not understand God’s intervention in your life because the ways and thoughts of God are unsearchable (meditate on Isaiah 55:8-9).

The ‛âzar of Samson

[And] when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that [were] upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.

And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

But God clave an hollow place that [was] in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which [is] in Lehi unto this day.

Judges 15:14-19 KJV

God had empowered Samson to defeat a thousand philistines with a jawbone. After the war, Samson became thirsty. Samson was dying out of water. He needed the help of God. When Samson called on the LORD's name, Lehi's rock split open.

Water came from that rock. Samson drank to his satisfaction. That’s the help of God! What would have happened if Samson did not get water to quench his thirst? He could have died! I have watched movies where warriors died out of thirst and hunger.

The Warriors won the battle but died because of no water. When Samson called on the LORD, there was a divine intervention. God expects us to call on him in time of need (meditate on Matthew 7:7-8).

When you call on God, He will not ignore you. If God has called you into the ministry, he will help you in times of need. Sometimes God can use men to help you. However, God can help you without the input of human beings.

As he did for Samson, he can do it for you when you call upon him. If God calls you to start a business, school, church, or anything, he will help you when you call upon him. In my evangelistic ministry, people sow money into my life.

Although I do not ask them for money, after preaching, people sow seeds (tithes and offerings) into my life. No day have I gone for mass evangelism that people do not sow money into my life.

Although I get tiny sales (peanuts) from amazon (kindle books), I don’t solely rely on the books the Holy Spirit used me to write and publish. God supernaturally helps me. Call on God, and he will answer.

If the condition is urgent, God will help you (divine assistance). If the situation demands the help of man, God will use a man to help you. If the situation demands angelic assistance, God will use angels.

The ‛âzar of the covenanted souls

Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,

And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.

Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.

He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

And he let [it] fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

Psalms 78:23-29 KJV

God opened the gate of heaven to enable the Israelites to receive angels’ food. He rained manna from heaven. God rained fried and cooked fish from heaven. Think of any clean animal.

God rained them from heaven. The Israelites didn’t need cooking utensils. The food was prepared from heaven! If God could feed the Israelites from heaven, he can feed you from heaven if your situation demands such a miracle. Remember, nothing is impossible in the sight of God. God can help you without the input of human beings.

The ‛âzar of Haggar and Ismael

Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name [was] Hagar.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

Genesis 16:1-10 KJV

Haggar, a maidservant of Sarai (Sarah), fled from the abuse of her master. While in the wilderness, Haggar encountered the Lord. Remember, Haggar was pregnant. She could have died with her unborn child in the wilderness.

However, the Lord appeared unto her. The Lord told her to return to Sarai. Through the encounter, the son of Haggar (Ismael) received a prophetic word. It doesn’t matter the challenges you are going through; God can intervene.

God knew Haggar faced injustice in the house of Abram (Abraham). However, the Lord delivered Haggar when she fled from the home of her master. Wild animals, such as lions, could have killed Haggar and her unborn baby.

God took on the image of an angel. He delivered Haggar and her unborn child from the wild lions and unpleasant weather. God delivered Haggar from a suicide attempt. Child of God, believe in the power of God. God can help you in your weakest and hopeless situation.

The ‛âzar of Daniel

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which [is] of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then the king, when he heard [these] words, was sore displeased with himself, and set [his] heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians [is], That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast [him] into the den of lions. [Now] the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: [and] the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

Daniel 6:10-23 KJV

Prophet Daniel’s enemies conspired to kill him. God allowed the wicked plans of Daniel’s enemies to succeed. However, God shut the mouth of the Lions when Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den.

Although King Darius tried several times to help Daniel, King Darius couldn’t help because he was limited. Imagine a powerful person trying to help you. The person used his knowledge, money, skills, and connections to help you but failed.

Why don’t you turn to God for help? Like Daniel, king Darius wanted to deliver him. King Darius couldn’t avert the enemy's plans because the situation demanded divine intervention. Daniel needed the help of God.

God shut the mouth of the lions when Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den. Maybe you have lost hope because the best doctors, specialists, professionals, experts, and authoritative vessels couldn’t help you.

Rely on Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus alone has the power to do the impossible. A woman has been suffering from blood issues for the past eighteen years. She has visited the best doctors and herbalists.

None of the doctors and herbalists could help her. When this woman encountered Christ Jesus, she received healing. Her faith in Christ Jesus activated her miracle (see Luke 13:10-13).

You need a day, an hour, a minute, or some seconds of encounter with Christ Jesus to receive your miracle. God's help comes when man’s help fails. The help of God brings an end to the enemy’s oppression. Have faith in God and His Word. Christ Jesus alone can help you!

The ‛âzar of the three Hebrew men

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

[That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, [that] he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is it] true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who [is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in this matter.

If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

And he commanded the most mighty men that [were] in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, [and] to cast [them] into the burning fiery furnace.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their [other] garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, [and] spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, [and] spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come [hither]. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

[Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Daniel 3:1-30 KJV

Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, wanted the people under his reign to bow down to his demonic altar (gods). However, three Hebrew men (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) disobeyed that order.

These men feared the God of Israel. The king gave these three men another chance to bow to his gods (evil altars), but these three God-fearing men did not bow. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego vowed to obey the true God (Yahweh).

They declared that they would not bow to the king's god even if the true God (Christ Jesus) did not deliver them from the king's punishment. When Nebuchadnezzar saw that these men did not want to obey his instructions, he commanded his strongest men to bind them.

After binding Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Nebuchadnezzar commanded his strongest men to throw them into the burning furnace. The burning furnace was so hot that the strong men that bound Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego died at the heat coming from the fire.

The Lord intervened when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell into the hot, burning furnace. God loosed the chains holding Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He protected them from the fire.

God did not need any man to intercede for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He intervened himself. There are times you find yourself in the trap of the enemy. There seems to be no hope when you look at the north, south, west, and east.

Your only stand is to bow to the enemy’s instruction. I have good news for you. Do not bow to the enemy’s instruction! Your family and loved ones may have bowed to the demonic altars.

The people around you may have told you that they will sack you if you don’t change figures in the office. Your boss may have said you either have sex with him or vacate your job. Do not bow to the enemy’s instruction!

Have faith in Christ Jesus and His Word. He can deliver you from any situation! God can give you a new job. He can make way for you where there seems to be no way. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they did not bow to the gods of Nebuchadnezzar.

They were ready to burn in the fire. They declared that if their God did not save them, they would not bow to the demonic altars set by the king. No one was ready to help Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because Nebuchadnezzar had the final word at that time.

However, the hand (help) of God brought forth deliverance. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego's faith in the Lord created the miracle. It is time to rely on God and his Word because He can help you in the storms. Freely download and read my book, how to unlock the gates of faith for a more profound revelation.
