Introduction
The wisdom keys in
this article may sound harsh and disturbing. However, that’s the hard truth
about humankind. I am writing this article to help you know the limitation of
humanity. The wisdom in this article will make you humble and, at the same time,
empower you to pursue a purposeful life.
Lastly, the Word
of God (the Holy Bible) is the foundation of these wisdom keys. Whatever the
Word of God says is true and final (unchangeable). Initially, I didn’t want to write
or share these wisdom keys because I felt the Holy Spirit revealed this wisdom
for my personal use.
However, I felt in
my spirit to write and share these unique wisdom keys with you. As stated, the
wisdom keys and revelations I’m about to share with you will make you humble
and, at the same time, revive your inner power.
What is man?
Man [that is] born
of a woman [is] of few days, and full of trouble.
He cometh forth
like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Job
14:1-2 KJV
King Solomon, the
Son of David, makes us understand that a man (including a female) born of a
woman is of few days. Secondly, he writes that humankind's days are full of
troubles. This truth applies to you if you have parents who are dead or alive.
Our days on earth
are limited. We will encounter unexpected things in life. Some can be good,
whiles some can be evil. Solomon further states that we are like flowers
(trees). We are cut down. Within minutes, we become like shadows.
[As for] man, his
days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
For the wind
passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more
Psalms
103:15-16 KJV
Our days are like
the grass (flowers) of the field. It flourishes at a
specific season. When the wind blows
over the flower, it loses its strength like a female in her youthful stage. She
looks pretty.
Give her time. Her
face begins to crumble. Her body parts start to depreciate as time passes. That
is how humankind's life is. When you cut down a tree, its leaves die. We are
like trees with leaves.
A time will come
God will cut (kill) the tree. We will not live forever in this corrupt body. Every
man born of a woman has an appointment
with death (see Hebrews 9:27). God can
decide that you
do not see death.
Tyrants who taught
no one could overthrow them are no more. They are in their graves. Talk of
Osama Bin Laden, Sadam Hussein, Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, and Joseph Stalin. Some
died in hospitals and homes.
Some were assassinated,
while some died naturally. Talk of great men who made a positive impact. Kwame
Nkrumah, Kenneth Hagin, Nelson Mandela, Billy Graham, Joseph Prince, Reinhardt
Bonnke, Benson Idahosa, Steve Jobs, Moses, and Apostle Paul.
These men are dead
but alive in the Spirit. In the same way,
every man born of a woman will die. Monitor a flower. It blossoms at certain
seasons. Give that grass
(flower) time, and it will perish. That is how Solomon and David describe human
beings.
Thou carriest them
away as with a flood; they are [as] a sleep: in the morning [they are] like
grass [which] groweth up.
In the morning it
flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
Psalms
90:5-6 KJV
In the morning or
rainy season, the flower flourishes. The same flower perishes in the harmattan
or dry season. That is the fate of human beings. When a tree is cut down, the
leaves wither. Analyze trees when they are cut down.
Some trees bleed,
but people do not see them. The physical tree has life. The dead tree and
flowers are alerting you that you will become like them one day. The fact that
you have blood means you can die, so humble yourself.
A wicked man
(doctor, herbalist, friend, enemy, and family member) can decide to kill you.
Someone can poison your food and drinks, and within seconds you will die. It
takes the mercies of God to stay alive, so walk and live in humility.
God Almighty describes human beings
The voice said,
Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh [is] grass, and all the
goodliness thereof [is] as the flower of the field:
The grass
withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it:
surely the people [is] grass.
The grass
withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Isaiah
40:6-8 KJV
God Almighty
describes all flesh (human beings) as the grass of the field. When the strong
wind blows over the flower, it fades. Fading takes a process. That is how
humankind ends. A child is born without teeth.
He grows with
teeth and learns to walk. The child becomes old and starts using crutches. His
eyes become dim, which weakens his eyesight. His legs become weak, which makes him
unable to travel long distances. His teeth fall off, which makes him unable to
eat heavy food. Finally, he dies. That
is how humankind fades. It is the fate
of humanity, and there is nothing you can do about it.
I, [even] I, [am]
he that comforteth you: who [art] thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man
[that] shall die, and of the son of man [which] shall be made as grass;
Isaiah
51:12 KJV
The King of Kings
and Lord of Lords declare that human beings are like grass. God is saying that
why should we be afraid of another man? God is revealing our weakness. You are
grass. I am a grass. We are like the grass of the field. We will fade away, so
live wisely!
Apostle Peter reveals the state of human beings
For all flesh [is]
as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth,
and the flower thereof falleth away:
1
Peter 1:24 KJV
Peter declares
that all flesh (human beings) is like grass. The grass is green in its
flourishing state. However, the grass becomes brown in its fallen state. The
glory of human beings is like the grass of the field.
We will fade like
the grass of the field. Sometimes I marvel at the pride of some men and women. Most
rich people think their money is “God.” Several women think their hair and body
are gods, so they take pride in men in their youthful stage.
If only you knew
how weak and vulnerable you are as a woman, you would be humble. Solomon,
David, Peter, and God Almighty have declared that human beings are like the grass
of the field.
Why do you pride
in your limited knowledge and temporal wealth? Why do you look down on others
when you are like the grass of the field? Why do you despise another human
being when both of you are like the grass of the field?
Eight Hard Truths about human beings
1. Make a trip to the mortuary once in a while
Try visiting the
mortuary. You will see that human beings are like dead animals. There is
nothing special in the morgue. The poor, rich, old, and young rest in the same
room. They are helpless and useless in that state.
My first time
seeing human beings (corpses) in the mortuary humbled me. I saw a dead woman
with her dead child lying beside her. The scent inside the mortuary room was so
strong that it took me weeks to get rid of it.
In the mortuary, human
beings (corpses) are treated anyhow. The workers in the morgue can do whatever
they feel like doing to human beings when they become corpses because they are
helpless.
Analyze dead
animals. That is how human beings look when dead. You can watch videos of people
who died in car accidents and autopsy videos on the internet (youtube or any relevant
site) to live in wisdom.
2. Human beings are Ignorant
Naturally, human
beings do not know everything. We are not omniscient. God Almighty is the only
one who knows everything. Someone with higher knowledge or experience can take
advantage of you.
Why do you think
people become bankrupt after acquiring wealth? It is because of their
ignorance. Some people die out of ignorance. Some people are in the hospital
because they ate something they were not supposed to eat (ignorance).
Some people are in
psychiatric hospitals because of ignorance. Mentally these people are going
insane. It doesn’t matter how knowledgeable you are; you don’t know everything.
That’s part of human nature. We learn by reading, watching, and listening to
others. Let this wisdom guide you because someone can outsmart you with your
limited knowledge. Humble yourself and learn from others.
3. Human beings are full of limitations
You cannot be in
different places simultaneously unless you have some supernatural powers. Even
with that power, you cannot be in other areas simultaneously as God Almighty
does. Although technology is trying hard to make us omnipresent, they are
limited.
You cannot simultaneously
eat, drink, talk, read, walk, sleep, and work. It would help if you had others
to help you accomplish specific duties. You cannot be in Ghana, India, Nigeria,
and America while simultaneously transacting business with different people in
your right mind because you are limited in your body.
Technology can
help you, but you cannot act as you can. Technology helps, but it has
limitations. Technology (artificial intelligence or robots) does not have souls
(feelings or emotions).
They act with
rules. It would be best if you had human beings to help you. You need other
people’s help in your depressed and hopeless state. You need someone to
encourage you. It would help if you had someone to share ideas with.
You need someone
to help you financially, emotionally, socially, spiritually, psychologically,
and physically. You need someone to help you work on specific projects because
you are limited.
4. Human beings are full of evil
You cannot fully
trust another man because he is imperfect (see Jeremiah 17:5-6). Humans are prone
to think and do evil because of their Adamic nature. The natural man enjoys sin
because the god of this world rules them. This is one reason you need wisdom. Absolute
trust in human beings is an error because they can disappoint you. Build some
trust in human beings but don’t put all your trust in them.
5. Human beings are too weak in life
Do you know that
people die every day from mosquito bites? Mosquitoes are tiny animals, yet they
can kill you with a bite. This shows you the weakness of human beings. Try
visiting hospitals. You will see how vulnerable human beings are.
- Do you remember the day you got sick?
- How did you feel?
- How did you see the world?
You are too weak
to lift yourself above others. Humble yourself!
6. Human beings can be trapped
Human beings are
so weak to the extent that they can be seduced. Several men are in trouble
because women seduce them. The same applies to women in bondage. Don’t pride
yourself in your knowledge and asset.
A woman can bring
you down in a minute! A man can bring you down in a minute! Don’t pride
yourself on your six-packs and beauty. A strong vessel can dominate you with
strength, money, fame, and beauty. Try breaking the laws in your country. You will see the power of the military and the law court. You can be seduced, trapped,
manipulated, and dominated, so humble yourself!
7. Human beings operate like animals
If you observe
animals, you will see that they have a routine. They search for food and water.
Animals eat, drink, procreate, socialize, sleep and die. That’s how human
beings operate. People work, eat, drink, procreate, socialize, sleep and die.
Do not abuse animals because you act like them.
8. Human beings possess wasteful substance
This point will
make you humbler. As far as you eat, you release wasteful substances from the
body. God created the body to operate in that way. After eating and drinking,
the body stores the nutrient and sends the waste (feces) to your large
intestines.
As you are reading
my article, there are feces in your body. Your body is forming feces. Human beings are like animals. After eating, they release waste. Some
people behave as if they don’t visit the washroom (the toilet). Can I present
that you are carrying urine and feces in your body? Humble yourself.
David throws more light on the state of human beings
LORD, what [is]
man, that thou takest knowledge of him! [or] the son of man, that thou makest
account of him!
Man is like to
vanity: his days [are] as a shadow that passeth away.
Psalms
144:3-4 KJV
David writes that
human beings are like shadows that pass away. David is surprised why God thinks
about human beings because we are like dark shadows having no relevance. David
sees human beings as ghosts on earth. Ghost has little or no significance on
earth. That is what human beings look like.
Solomon throws more light on the state of human beings
How much less [in]
them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation [is] in the dust, [which]
are crushed before the moth?
They are destroyed
from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding [it. ]
Doth not their
excellency [which is] in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
Job
4:19-21 KJV
Do you know that
over 170,000 people die every day? Numerous people die without wisdom. People
enter their graves daily without knowledge because they are in bondage. Human
beings are like insects. They are blown away by the wind.
Destruction befalls numerous people because of ignorance. This should tell you how weak human beings are. Innumerable deaths, miseries, curses, destruction, and depression dominate people because of ignorance.
- Do you know that over 7000 people die out of hunger every day?
- Do you know that over 20,000 people die out of poverty every day?
- Do you know that over 100,000 people die of diseases every day?
That’s the
vulnerability of humankind. Human beings are nothing but a speck of dust. The
atomic part of an ant and sand is heavier than you; therefore, live in
humility.
Human beings reign in iniquity
How much more
abominable and filthy [is] man, which drinketh iniquity like water?
Job
15:16 KJV
The natural man
feels joyful when others are in pain. Like psychopaths
and sadistic people, they receive joy
when God’s creation (human beings, animals, trees, water bodies, and earth) perishes.
The natural man
enjoys sin like food and water because they don’t have a regenerated spirit
(the Holy Spirit). This is why people are fighting for gay and lesbian “rights.”
Abortion and fornication have become legal in certain countries because human
beings enjoy iniquity.
Today, people
don’t feel shy about dressing like harlots. People feel proud of their evil
deeds. Sin has become so common that it is seen as an activity. The state of
human beings should make you desire wisdom because someone is ready to trade
your glory, blessings, and assets for his gain.
People are ready
to kill for money, fame, and power. That’s the natural state of human beings.
You cannot trust human beings with all your heart because the Holy Bible state
that they drink iniquity like water (see Job 15:16).
Solomon and David declare the state of human beings
How much less man,
[that is] a worm? and the son of man, [which is] a worm?
Job
25:6 KJV
Worms are in
categories. Some appear in rainy seasons. Some, too, can only be seen using a microscope
(magnifying glasses). In the above Holy Scripture, Solomon writes that human
beings are worms. This means human beings are weak, tiny, and destroyable.
But I [am] a worm,
and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
Psalms
22:6 KJV
David describes
himself as a worm. Worms have no defense. You can destroy a worm (a human
being) with your little thumb, toe, or finger. That is how Solomon and David
describe human beings. Don’t overrate yourself because someone can step on you.
Put your trust in God.
The Holy Spirit affirms our weakness
Likewise the
Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as
we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which
cannot be uttered.
Romans
8:26 KJV
The Holy Spirit
knows we are weak, so he has decided to help us. We don’t even know how to
pray. The Holy Spirit sees us as newborns without “parents.” He knows we cannot
help ourselves.
The Holy Spirit has decided to hold us in his hands. We are too weak to carry our loads (psychological, social, spiritual, and physical needs). We need the Holy Spirit to feel that empty gap.
- Why do you think people visit nightclubs and play games to become happy yet become empty after these events?
- Why do you think people chase harlots and womanizers to satisfy their lustful desires? Yet, they become empty, hopeless, and depressed after the act.
- Why do you think some rich and famous people commit suicide?
It is because their money and power cannot sustain them. The joy of this world has limitations. The people of this world need greater power. I mean the unlimited power which springs forth from the Holy Spirit. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, human beings will perish.
- Do you have Christ
Jesus (the Holy
Spirit)?
- Are you born again?
If you answered no to these questions, pray the prayer of salvation prepared for you in this article. I will continue in the next article on the usefulness of human beings. That article will empower you to pursue a purposeful life because you are “unique.”
