These and many other questions
bother several Christian believers. By the time you finish reading this
article, you will get answers to the stated questions and several revelations
about the Holy Spirit.
Some of my personal experiences with the Holy Spirit
By God’s grace, I have encountered
the Holy Spirit several times. The Holy Spirit has revealed Himself to me in
dreams and visions. Sometimes, He manifests when I preach the gospel, pray,
worship, and praise the Lord.
Other times, the Holy Spirit
manifests physically to me as a white dove flying in the sky. One thing I have
realized about the Holy Spirit is that his presence carries power and love. In
one of my encounters with the Holy Spirit, I saw leadership in the eyes of the
Holy Spirit (He came as a white dove).
The presence of the Holy Spirit
explains true love. There are other times fear dominated me when the Holy
Spirit visited. From my experience, the Heavenly Father (Christ Jesus) is
always present with the Holy Spirit.
Their unity and love are unbreakable!
The Holy Spirit loves sincere people. He often desires to reveal himself to
people who genuinely love God from their hearts. The Holy Spirit is such a
beautiful and fearful person (dove)!
His eyes carry power and love. His presence
carries authority, leadership, and orderliness. These are just a few
revelations and experiences about the Holy Spirit. As time goes on, I will
reveal more revelations and personal experiences about the Holy Spirit. Freely
download my series of books on my blog for more profound revelations
about the Holy Spirit.
Benefits of knowing the personalities of the Holy Spirit
I will reveal some personalities
about the Holy Spirit. I will use the Holy Scriptures as the foundation because
that’s the rock of the Christian faith. Whatever the Holy Scriptures say about
the Holy Spirit is true.
Knowing the personalities of the
Holy Spirit will enhance your Christian walk and spiritual life. Christ Jesus
left the Holy Spirit to us because He is the best person to handle us. Not
knowing the Holy Spirit is like driving on the high street without road signs.
The road signs help you whiles
driving. The road signs will alert you that there is a sharp curve, rumble
strip, traffic light, animal and human crossing, and essential information.
Without road signs, you can run into an accident. In the same way, the Holy Spirit serves as the road sign. We need the Holy Spirit to help us travel the road (journey of life). Below are some personalities of the Holy Spirit.
Twelve Personalities of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the life of God’s creation
The Spirit of God hath made me, and
the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Job 33:4 KJV
The Spirit of God is the same as the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, depending on your version of the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Spirit took part in God’s creation (meditate on Genesis 1:26).
He is the life of creation. Without the Holy Spirit, life
will be impossible. In other words, the Holy Spirit is the lifeline of
creation. Death and evil will dominate the earth if the Holy Spirit ceases to
exit.
Like water, without it, humankind will not survive. Animals,
plants, and human beings need water to live. If we don’t get water, our bodies
will starve to death. In the same way, the Holy Spirit is the sustainer (water)
of our lives.
The Holy Spirit gives life to our spirit, soul, and body. Whatever has breath has the Holy Spirit. Imagine a world without the sun, stars, and moon. We would be living in darkness. The sun gives us light during the day, while the moon and stars provide light at night. Without light, our eyes cannot see because our eyes need light rays. The Holy Spirit is our light. Without the Holy Spirit, we will live in darkness (misery, confusion, and evil).
The Holy Spirit contends with sinners
And the LORD said, My spirit shall
not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days
shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Genesis 6:3 KJV
When the sons of God married the daughters
of men, evil prevailed. If you read the account in the book of Genesis chapter
six, you would realize that the Holy Spirit could not walk and live with God’s
creation when wickedness dominated the earth.
However, Noah found grace in God’s
sight. Some people believe that the sons of God were the descendants of Seth,
while the sons of men were the lineage of Cain. The sons of God loved God and
lived in the Holiness of the Holy Spirit.
However, the sons of men lived in
wickedness. When the sons of God married the daughters of men, wickedness dominated
the earth. The Holy Spirit could not work with humankind anymore because of the
extreme darkness (wickedness, corruption, evil, and abuse).
Some people also believe that the sons of God were angelic beings. If the Holy Spirit could not fellowship with God’s creation because of sin, we must be careful with sinful activities. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit of holiness. He cannot live in an environment full of wickedness, therefore, abstain from willful sins.
The Holy Spirit rebukes us when we disobey the Word of God
And when he is come, he will
reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
John 16:8 KJV
Christ Jesus stated that when the
Holy Spirit comes, He will reprove (convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, and reprove) us of sin. This means the Holy Spirit can discipline us. When we act
outside the will of God, the Holy Spirit can straighten us.
Like parents, teachers, guardians, law
courts, and older people correcting a disobedient person. That is how the Holy
Spirit corrects us when we disobey the Word of God. However, the Holy Spirit
rebukes us in love.
The Holy Spirit rebukes us in our
hearts. Sometimes, when you are about to do evil, your heart condemns
you. You will experience some fear in your heart. It is the Holy Spirit
reproving you.
The Holy Spirit does not want us to break the Word of God. He does not want us to act outside the will of God. That is why He rebukes us when we are about to break the Word of God. The Holy Spirit can rebuke you through your spiritual leaders, parents, teachers, law court, friends, guardians, and several ways.
The Holy Spirit rebuked me
I have seen the Holy Spirit rebuking
in dreams. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit uses spiritual leaders. Other times, He
shows or directs me to the Holy Scriptures. The Holy Spirit is real.
He is not just a wind, fire, water, sound, or dove. The Holy Spirit is a person with a personality. We can feel his presence. He can talk to us.
It’s a small voice within our spirit. The voice of the Holy Spirit is authoritative. The Holy Spirit will not contradict the Word (the Holy Bible) because He is one with the Word (see 1 John 5:8-9).
Anytime an anointed and godly gospel
minister preaches the gospel to you, the Holy Spirit speaks through Him. Like
Eli, the high priest, and Samuel, the Holy Spirit used the voice of Eli. Samuel
thought Eli called him, not knowing the Holy Spirit called him.
Sometimes, the Holy Spirit can use the face and voice of your spiritual leader to speak to you in dreams and visions. Learn to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit by reading my free book, how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit can console us
Then had the churches rest
throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in
the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Acts 9:31 KJV
Like the early disciples of Christ
Jesus, the Holy Spirit comforted them. In the same way, the Holy Spirit can
comfort us. In times of fear, confusion, and pain, the Holy Spirit can rekindle
us.
The Holy Spirit can infuse our
spirit with unexplainable joy and peace. While the unbelievers walk and live in
fear, you will live in joy because of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Don’t
solely rely on people for comfort because the Holy Spirit can encourage you.
The Holy Spirit can strengthen you in times of pain. In the storms of life, the Holy Spirit can relieve you. When depressed and confused, rely on the Holy Spirit for strength. Call on the Holy Spirit to fill you with peace, joy, hope, faith, and love because He embodies these fruits (see Galatians 5:22-23).
The Holy Spirit can help us with our weakness
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth
our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the
Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
Romans 8:26 KJV
Naturally, we
are weak. We cannot do much without the help
of others. The Holy Spirit knows how vulnerable we are, so he helps us.
He knows we cannot complete the task of God with our limited strength.
He knows we don’t know everything,
so He assists us. The Holy Spirit knows the heart of God, so He helps us in
prayers. The Holy Spirit can heal our diseases. He can quicken our bodies. The
Holy Spirit knows our besetting sins.
He knows our spiritual and physical
strength. The Holy Spirit is ready to assist us when we call on him. One reason
many Christian believers are struggling is that they don’t call on the Holy
Spirit.
They think they can do everything on
their own. You are too weak to do everything by yourself. Remember, Apostle
Paul said, we can do all things through Christ Jesus (the Holy Spirit) who
strengthens us (see Philippians 4:13).
Without the help of the Holy Spirit, we cannot do much on earth. The Holy Spirit is ready to help us. Don’t solely depend on your wisdom, money, skills, assets, family, friends, and connections because they are limited. You need the help of the Holy Spirit because His strength is unlimited.
The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of
the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the
will of] God.
Romans 8:27 KJV
Apostle Paul
writes that the Holy Spirit investigates the thoughts
of the Trinity. We cannot know the mind of God without the Holy Spirit.
It takes the Holy Spirit to seek the counsel of God.
When the Holy
Spirit gets information from the
Trinity, He intercedes for us. What a privilege! Sometimes we pray
outside the will of God. Some people pray for things that will destroy them. Others
pray for things they cannot manage.
It would be best
if you had the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must pray for you because He knows
God’s plans for your life. Pray
in tongues. The more you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit intercedes
for you.
The Holy Spirit
will not ask anything from God that will destroy you. If you know the Word of God
and have the Word of God in your heart, you can pray perfectly. Praying the
Word of God is another way of praying for the will of God.
However, if you
want to touch the heart of God, pray
in the Spirit. Pray in tongues. The Holy Spirit will stand before the
throne room of God to make your request. Meditate on these Holy Scriptures for
more profound revelations.
…God hath revealed [them] unto us by his
Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of
a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God
knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 KJV
The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ Jesus and teaches us the Word of God
…the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom
the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 KJV
Christ Jesus stated that the Holy
Spirit would teach us all things. Second, the Holy Spirit will remind us of whatever
Christ Jesus taught the early disciples. This means the Holy Spirit is a
teacher.
He can explain the Holy Scriptures
to us because He is the author (see 2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit used holy men
to write the Holy Scriptures. For example, you can read a book and
misunderstand it.
You need the author to explain the
book because he knows what he has written. Bible schools are good. However, the
best Bible teacher is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can reveal mysteries to
you.
Some of my testimonies while fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit
All the books and articles with my name became
visible because the Holy Spirit revealed them to me. As
I prayed in tongues, worshipped, and praised the Lord from my heart,
the Holy Spirit gave me ideas and revelations.
The wisdom and revelations in my
books did not come because of the Bible schools I attended. Never! The Holy
Spirit taught me, and I wrote them. After writing them, it was edited and
published.
As I am writing to you, I have
thousands of unpublished drafts (books and articles) waiting to be developed,
refined, and published. Do you think I received this wisdom and revelations
because I attended Bible schools?
The Holy Spirit taught me! He whistles
the ideas in my spirit and soul! The Holy Spirit inspires me to write books and
articles. By the way, this is just the beginning of the books and articles.
Thousands of books and articles are yet to be published. The Holy Spirit is real. He can teach us. The Holy Spirit can reveal mysteries to us. He can remind us of Christ Jesus and his teachings. It is time to fellowship with the Holy Spirit to get access to special revelations.
The Holy Spirit shows us the way
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will
shew you things to come.
John 16:13 KJV
Do you know that the Holy Spirit is
your prophet? “You don’t need a prophet to guide you.” A prophet comes into
your life to confirm what the Holy Spirit has said to you. You may need a
prophet at your baby stage because you have not developed your spiritual
muscles (senses) to connect with the Holy Spirit.
However, you must understand that
the Holy Spirit knows the future. He knows everything about you because He
created you (see Genesis 1:26). The Holy Spirit is omnipresent, omniscient, and
omnipotent.
Stop chasing prophets and start
chasing the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you. He will show you the
future. The Holy Spirit can give you accurate prophecies. He can reveal the
future to you through dreams and visions.
The Holy Spirit has revealed to me
which spiritual leader I should follow. He has revealed to me where to preach. The
Holy Spirit has revealed to me my future. He has shown me several visions and
revelations.
I did not chase prophets and
anointed gospel ministers. Some prophets have confirmed the visions and dream
the Holy Spirit gave me. I did not tell the prophets my visions and dreams. However,
they confirmed the prophecies, dreams, and visions the Holy Spirit gave me.
Child of God, the Holy Spirit is
real. He can guide you. Like a pilot, he needs assistance. Like a soldier on
the battlefield, he needs a commander. Like a student, he needs a teacher. Like
a child, he needs parents and guardians.
In the same way, you need the Holy
Spirit to guide you. Ministers of the gospel (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists,
Pastors, and teachers) add flavor to your spiritual life (meditate on 1 John
2:27, Ephesians 4:11-12).
Gospel ministers can help you in
your baby stage. However, as you grow in the Lord, you need more of the Holy
Spirit. The Holy Spirit will not mislead you. He will not lie to you or cheat
you.
The Holy Spirit will not abuse you. Freely

The series of books will help you train your spirit, soul, and body for divine
connection.
The Holy Spirit can consecrate us
Nevertheless, brethren, I have
written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because
of the grace that is given to me of God,
That I should be the minister of
Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering
up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:15-16 KJV
The more you fellowship and relate
with the Holy Spirit, He sanctifies you. Sanctification means being set apart
for a particular assignment. For example, before one is accepted in the
military, he goes through a series of training.
The training prepares him
psychologically, socially, and physically for battle. In the same way, the Holy
Spirit sanctifies you so you can walk with the Trinity. In the Old Testament,
nobody except the high priest could enter the Holy of holies chambers.
The high priest has to sanctify
himself because of the presence of God. In the same way, the Holy Spirit
sanctifies us for the master’s use (meditate on Romans 12:1-2). Sanctification
is a process.
The first stage of sanctification is
your born-again experience. That is, repenting for your sins and accepting
Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord. When you become born again, the blood of
Christ Jesus consecrates you in the spiritual realm.
The second stage of sanctification
begins with the Word (the Holy Scriptures). As you study
and obey the Word, the power within the Word consecrates your soul and
empowers your spirit for divine fellowship.
The third stage of sanctification
begins with the Holy Spirit. The more you
fellowship and relate with the Holy Spirit, He consecrates you. Sanctification
makes your spiritual walk easy. It makes you hate sin with a passion.
Sanctification makes you desire God
and the church. It makes you love holiness and a righteous lifestyle.
Sanctification makes you a candidate for God’s workers. You become a living
sacrifice unto God when sanctification takes place in your spirit, soul, and
body.
Sanctification (purity of life) will make the power (anointing) and gifts of the Holy Spirit flow in your life (see Hebrews 1:9). It’s time to fellowship with the Holy Spirit for greater anointing. For more profound revelation about the anointing, freely download my series of books on my blog.
The Holy Spirit makes us conscious of Christ Jesus
…when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you
from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the
Father, he shall testify of me:
John 15:26 KJV
The Holy Spirit glorifies nothing
except Christ Jesus and His Word. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He
cannot speak lies. This is one reason you must trust Him with all your heart. Wherever
the name of Christ Jesus is exalted, the Holy Spirit manifests.
This is one reason the early
disciples of Christ Jesus saw the miracles of God. The early disciples of
Christ Jesus preached about Christ Jesus. The more they preached about Christ
Jesus, the Holy Spirit worked miracles.
Anytime someone prophesies, and that
prophecy does not bring glory to Christ Jesus, that prophecy is questionable. The
Holy Spirit will not demean the name, teachings, and personalities of Christ
Jesus.
The Holy Spirit will not disgrace
genuine followers of Christ Jesus. If you want Christ Jesus’ name glorified,
become one with the Holy Spirit. Meditate on this Holy Scripture for more
profound revelations.
He
[the Holy Spirit] shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine,
and shall shew [it] unto you.
John 16:14 (Emphasis added) KJV
The Holy Spirit carries the miracle-working powers
Now the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power
of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 KJV
Do you know that the Holy Spirit
performs miracles? If you desire the power gifts of God, make time for the Holy
Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is above every power. Human and demonic forces
bow to the power of the Holy Spirit.
When the power of the Holy Ghost
fills you, you will be full of joy, faith, and hope. Nothing in this world can
stop you when you are full of the Holy Spirit. Freely download my book, how
to walk with the Holy Spirit, for more profound revelations.
