Nine Fruits of True Churches (Detecting Holy Spirit Congregations)
Introduction
In my previous article, I
enumerated eight
fruits of dead congregations. Knowing the fruits of dark churches
delivers you from the enemy’s trap. I encourage you to read that article for
more profound revelations.
In this article, I will
share nine fruits of true congregations. True congregations are the real Church
of God. Fellowshipping with true churches enhances your salvation. Your Church
has an impact on you whether you believe it or not. This is one reason I want to
share genuine churches' nine seeds and fruits to enable you to walk and live
successfully with the Holy Spirit.
Some personal experiences
Authentic products have
counterfeits. Failure to differentiate genuine products from fake products
makes you a loser. I remember buying an apple phone on the street of Accra Madina.
It was my first time using an apple phone.
The seller told me it was
a real apple phone. However, after buying the apple phone and using it for some
time, I started facing problems with the internal memory and the apple online
store. I realized that the apple phone was a refurbished one.
I learnt from that
experience. I said I would not repurchase a fake or refurbished product. Before
buying a product, I check the specifications and requirements of the original
product. For example, I had a problem with my Samsung phone, so I decided to
buy a new one.
I did not want to buy a
fake or refurbished Samsung phone, so I researched online. I searched online
how to detect original Samsung phones. When I went to the phone shop to buy a
Samsung phone, I tested it before buying it.
This time, I bought an
original Samsung phone! That is how life revolves. You endanger yourself if you
joke with people, products, services, and animals. People can pretend. People
can offer you fake products and services.
The impact of true and false churches
It would be best to have wisdom
and discernment
of the Holy Spirit to detect real and fake people, products, services,
and churches. Doing the right thing at the wrong time can hinder your progress.
Doing the right thing in
the wrong place can also limit your progress. It would be best to do the right
thing at the right time and place to experience progress. You need the right Church
because real congregations will help you become a perfect Christian believer.
Real churches can deliver
you from the
gate of hell. Real churches can
establish your citizenship in heaven and new earth. Roll with me as I share nine
fruits of real churches. These truths will guide you into choosing the real
churches of Christ Jesus.
A church is a place of holy
fellowship. The Church takes place when two or more people meet in the name of
our Savior and Lord Christ Jesus (See Matthew 18:20). Your heart, room, and
house can be a church.
Any place you dedicate to
the Holy Spirit becomes a church
(holy altar). Below are the nine fruits of true churches. Kindly share
the link to this article so others can choose the right Church.
Nine fruits of real churches
1. True churches stand on the Sword of the Spirit
One of the best keys to
detecting real churches is that they stand on the sword of the Spirit (the Holy
Bible). Every true Church of God has its foundation in the Word. I mean,
their doctrine stands on the Holy Bible.
They have no authoritative
book aside from the Holy Scriptures. There is no way you will find a true
church of God building the people outside the Word because they know the power
within. True churches preach and teach from the living Word.
Some church leaders and
Christian believers have written books. Those books have their foundation of
the Word. Using Holy Spirit-inspired books in a church is good. If your Church’s
doctrine stands on the Word of God, count the Church real. If the church
leaders, pastors, and members direct you to the Word of God, you are in a true
congregation.
2. Constant prayers and fasting
True churches have Spirit-led
prayers and fasting
life. You will often find true churches embarking on long fast and prayers.
Fasting and prayers in true churches are often associated with revival,
spiritual growth, breaking evil chains, and deliverance.
If your Church
occasionally engages in fasting and prayers purposely for the power and
presence of the Holy Spirit, count the congregation as the true house of God.
If your Church often fast and pray for the fire of the Holy Spirit,
deliverance, and Holy Spirit, you are in the real Church. Remember the words of
our Savior and Lord Christ Jesus, “my house shall be called the house of prayer.”
(See Matthew 21:13).
3. Constant evangelical activities
Real congregations enjoy
evangelism (soul-winning). Although some dead congregations evangelize, their
evangelism does not glorify Christ Jesus. Any evangelism that does not increase
the Kingdom of God and heaven is false.
Evangelism without soul-winning
is a waste of time, energy, and resources. True churches value evangelism and
soul-winning. Genuine congregations build the divine kingdom with evangelism
and soul-winning.
True churches send called
and chosen Christian believers (evangelists and missionaries) to towns,
villages, and deprived areas purposely for soul-winning and expanding God’s
kingdom. If your Church has no interest in evangelism and soul-winning, apply
wisdom.
However, if your Church
often engages in real evangelism (soul-winning), it’s from the Holy Spirit.
Remember, real evangelism brings glory to Christ Jesus and the Church and
expands the Kingdom of heaven. For more profound revelation about real
evangelism, freely download my forty effective evangelism book
and this book, A Soul is a Soul, on my blog.
4. Fruits of the Holy Spirit are evident in true churches
One unmistakable sign of
true churches is the seed of the Holy Spirit in the life of the leaders,
pastors, and Church members. True churches have leaders, pastors, and Christian
believers full of divine
love, peace, faith, joy, temperance, moral integrity, and humility.
Suppose you observe that
most leaders, pastors, and people in the Church exhibit the fruits of the Holy
Spirit described in Galatians chapter five, verses twenty-two to twenty-three.
In that case, you are in the right Church.
Christ Jesus stated that
we should know false prophets (including pastors, leaders, churches, friends,
and loved ones) by their fruits (character, attitude, words, and actions).
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or
figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt
tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:15-18 KJV
Observe the people and leaders in the Church.
- Do their character, attitude, and actions portray Christ Jesus?
- Does their nature glorify Christ Jesus?
- Do you see Christ Jesus in the Church?
- Do you see the fruits of the Holy Spirit in the Church? (See Galatians 5:22-23).
Also, note that you will
likely see some (few) carnal
Christians in true churches, so apply wisdom. For more profound
revelations, I encourage you to read my books, Who is a Christian believer
and forty types of Christian believers.
5. True churches manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit
Another way to detect
real congregations is that they exhibit the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through
Prophet Joel, God said He would pour his Spirit on all flesh in the last days (See
Joel 2:28-30).
Apostle Peter confirmed
the prophecies of Prophet Joel in Acts chapter two (See Acts 2:17-21). As you
can see, we are in the last days. The Spirit of God is upon the young and the
old. You should see people (predominantly Christian believers) prophesying if
the Holy Spirit is alive in a church.
You should see and hear
of divine encounters. Expect real miracles in true churches. Speaking and
interpreting tongues should be ordinary in real churches if the Holy Spirit is
present. Healing of the sick and people receiving deliverance should be standard
in real churches.
Although fake churches
can use demonic powers and tricks to do miracles, you must apply wisdom and use
the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Real churches allow the Holy Spirit to work
in the congregation.
Baptism of the Holy
Spirit and water baptism shows you are in a church. Speaking, praying, and
singing in tongues is common in real churches because of the Holy Spirit. If
your Church exhibits the gifts of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit is present. That Church
is from God. However, use the discernment of the Holy Spirit because the devil
can act as an angel of light.
6. True churches are dedicated to a godly project
Unlike dead congregations
that do not or rarely support godly projects, real churches give their best to
build the Church. Real churches have the vision to build the Church and its members.
They pay their tithes and offerings from their heart.
Real churches understand
giving, sacrifice, and fundamental truths. Anything that brings glory to God
has the real Church's hand (funds and support). For example, if the Church is
building a school or hospital to help the locality and its members, the real churches
do it with all their hearts.
If the Church needs funds
to buy land to build more churches, real Christians give from their heart. Real
churches support missionary works. If they can help, they assist with all their
hearts.
Does your Church give?
Are the church members in your place ready to sacrifice their time, money, comfort,
and energy to build the kingdom of God and heaven? If you answered yes, you are
in the real Church.
7. Real churches have sympathy for the poor and vulnerable
As stated in the previous
point, real churches support godly projects. Another sign of real congregations
is that they help the poor, especially those in the Christian faith. Real
churches have special funds that support widows, the homeless, and those in
deprived areas (See James 1:27).
Real churches donate to
people in hospitals, orphanages, and prisons occasionally. True churches intercede
for the growth of the nation. Does your Church occasionally help the
vulnerable? Does your Church feed the hungry?
I mean people in prisons,
hospitals, widows, rejected people, poor, and the helpless? If your Church can
help the poor but fails to do that, it is dead. However, if your Church can
help and does it from its heart, you are in the real congregation.
8. Evidence of a transformed life
If you experience
blessings, grace, favor, joy, and miracles from the day you join the Church,
you are in the right place. For example, let’s assume you were deep in sin and wretched.
However, you see a transformation the day you join the Church.
When you become an active
member and probably a worker of a real church, you start experiencing blessings.
When you see that your old nature (fornication lifestyle, stealing, poverty…)
starts depreciating when you join the Church, you are in the right place.
When your desire to serve
the Lord increases the moment you join the Church, you are in the right
congregation. Your desire to live morally upright grows when you join the real Church.
Your willingness to sin falls when you join a real church.
If nothing positive
happens in your life after joining the Church, it is a sign of a dead
congregation. However, if your life moves forward, you are in the right Church.
If your desire to please the Lord and live in holiness rises the day you become
an active member of the Church, you are in the faithful congregation.
9. Evidence of deliverance
You will often get bad
dreams if you are in a dead congregation. Most often, these dreams are
connected to the demonic church altars. However, real churches have a
holy altar that fights for you in the realms of the Spirit.
One sign that you are in
a real church is that you begin to receive freedom. I mean freedom from demons,
curses, demonic altars, and evil chains. Generational curses and foundational
barriers break when you join a real church.
A real church is a place
of deliverance. The more you give and support the real Church with your energy,
funds, and time, the holy altars fight for you. Are you experiencing freedom in
the spiritual and earthly realms? Are you a dedicated member of the Church?
Suppose you are a
dedicated church member and are not experiencing deliverance. In that case, it signifies
that you are in a dead congregation. However, if you are experiencing deliverance
in the spiritual and earthly realm, you are in a real church.
Also, note that you can
be in a real church and not experience total deliverance. Do you want to know
why? Freely download my book, dominating the dark kingdom, or get it free on amazon kindle.
Remember, a true church is
one of your foundations to total deliverance. A true church is a place of
prayer and deliverance. A true church helps the widow, poor and vulnerable. A
true church glorifies Christ Jesus and exhibits the fruits and gifts of the
Holy Spirit. Is your Church real?
