Unmasking Household Enemies and How to Live with Them – 2 [The Strategies of Christ Jesus]
Introduction
It doesn’t matter how
fertile a seed is; it will die if weeds, insects, and pests surround
it. It would be best to deal with the weeds, pests, and insects for the seed to
germinate without interruption.
In the same way, you need
wisdom to deal with the weeds, pests, and insects in your life. You are the
seed. The weeds, pests, and insects are symbols of household enemies. Household
enemies dwell in your chambers.
You share your secrets, challenges, success, and assets with them. You need the wisdom to live and deal with household enemies. This is one reason I am writing this article to help you live above their deceptions, seduction, domination, and manipulations. The word household means the people in your circles.
- If you are a manager, expect your line managers as the household enemies.
- If you are a businessman, your enemies will likely be other business people.
- If you are a politician, expect the opponent as your household enemy.
- If you are a minister of God (Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, and teacher), expect other “ministers of God” as household enemies.
Whatever profession you
find yourself in, expect the enemy in that field. Household enemies are the closest
people in your environment. You don’t have to travel to see your household enemy.
They are with you all the time.
Household enemies grow
and die with you. They might even be the ones “encouraging you.” Household
enemies might be the ones you have delegated authority to. As stated in the
previous article, I am not writing this article to make you cynical.
However, I am writing
this article to make you live in wisdom. The fact that your closest neighbor
can be your enemy does not mean you should go around suspecting your friends, neighbors,
and loved ones as enemies.
That’s unscriptural.
Don’t imagine evil about your neighbors; evil spirits can use that mindset
(medium) to deceive you. Be full of the Holy Spirit. If you are full of the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will expose household enemies.
Sometimes you feel uncomfortable
when household enemies come near you. Keep reading because I will show you how
to identify household enemies. I will unveil Christ Jesus's strategies and how
he dealt with and lived with household enemies. If you have not read my
previous articles on household enemies, kindly check them out for more profound
revelations.

wisdom to live with household enemies because they are subtle.
How Christ Jesus lived with household enemies (strategy one)
Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which
Jesus did, believed on him.
But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what
things Jesus had done.
Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said,
What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the
Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same
year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for
the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he
prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in
one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to
death.
Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence
unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there
continued with his disciples.
John 11:45-54 KJV
When Christ Jesus walked
on earth as man, he encountered several enemies. Christ Jesus was going about
doing the will of his Heavenly Father. The Holy Scriptures declared that he did
not commit evil (see Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 3:5,
John 19:4).
Christ Jesus did not offend
anyone. However, some sects of religious people (Pharisees, Sanhedrin,
Sadducees, Gentiles, and Scribes) decided to kill Christ Jesus. The unrepentant
and religious people thought Christ Jesus was building a kingdom to dethrone
their kingdom.
They feared Christ Jesus’
works would make them lose power and authority. At least, these religious
people should have considered the works of Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus was
healing the sick, casting out evil spirits, and preaching repentance.
Instead of the religious
people encouraging Christ Jesus, they ascribed Christ Jesus' works to the devil
(see Matthew 9:34). I hope you know how difficult the work of God is. We must
fast, pray, evangelize, follow up, write, counsel, and deal with various
people.
The religious knew the
troubles and pains of Christ Jesus. They saw the prophecies of the real Messiah
(Christ Jesus) in the Holy Scriptures. They saw the hostility of the Gentiles and the struggles of
Christ Jesus. However, most of them decided to oppose Christ Jesus despite the
evidence. In verse fifty-three of John chapter eleven, John records that the
religious people took counsel to put Christ Jesus to death.
Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to
death.
John 11:53 KJV
Household enemies come
from your tribe. Don’t expect the real enemy from the outside corridor. Expect
the enemy in your chambers. However, don’t suspect everyone close to you as
your enemy.
You must apply wisdom. Stand
on the premises of God’s Word (the Holy Bible). Use the inner witness. Discern
in your spirit. You can read my series of books on my blog for more profound revelations about
the Holy Spirit and inner witness.
If you read John chapter
eleven, you will realize that the religious unbelievers (household enemies)
opposed every work of Christ Jesus. They saw the genuineness of Christ Jesus.
However, they decided in their wicked heart to reject him.
One thing about household
enemies is that you cannot please them. Do your best. These people will not
accept your hard work and generosity. Household enemies work in groups. They
know the power of unity.
Household enemies gather
strength from their allies. They have several weapons. Household enemies use
slander, persecution, lies, gossip, hatred, false accusation, jealousy, unholy
anger, dominance, curses, destructive criticism, insults, evil powers, and
physical strength on their opponents.
If those weapons fail,
they take it to higher authorities. Like the Pharisees and other household
enemies, they took Christ Jesus to several kings. They took counsel to kill
Christ Jesus because their insults, gossip, slander, lies, persecution, and
destructive criticism failed.
They knew death was the
only way to eliminate our Savior and Lord Christ Jesus. The religious people
thought Christ Jesus' death would end his ministry. However, Christ Jesus
applied wisdom when the household enemies planned to kill him. Let’s see the
strategy of Christ Jesus.
Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence
unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there
continued with his disciples.
John 11:54 KJV
Our Savior and Lord
Christ Jesus did not walk openly among the Jews (household enemies). Christ
Jesus came from the tribe of David (the Jews). If you are from Ghana, your real
enemy is a Ghanaian.
If you are from Nigeria,
your real enemy is a Nigerian. If you are an American, your real enemy is an
American. If you are from Europe, your real enemy is a European. If you are
from India, your real enemy is an Indian.
If you are an African,
your real enemy is an African. If you are from Asia, your real enemy is from
Asia. Check your tribe. That’s the enemy resting place. It’s like a tree and
its fruits. You are connected to that tree because you are germinating on it.
Even in the animal
kingdom, there are household enemies. You must learn to live with them. You can
learn from Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus did not walk openly among the household
enemies. Christ Jesus could command angels and elements to destroy these
enemies.
However, Christ Jesus
didn’t do that because that was not the best strategy. Christ Jesus knew how to
deal with specific enemies. Acting as if you are the strongest can end your
life. You must not fight some battles.
Learn to walk away from
certain enemies if they work in groups. It might be in the workplace, school,
“church,” family house, or neighborhood. Don’t walk openly in that area.
Imitate the serpent's wisdom because Christ Jesus commanded us to be as wise as
the serpent (meditate on Matthew 10:16).
Don’t be over-righteous.
Act like Christ Jesus. He did not walk openly among the household enemies.
Christ Jesus did not become familiar with the hostile people in that community
because there were numerous household enemies. Are you wiser than Christ Jesus?
How Christ Jesus dealt with household enemies (Strategy two)
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;
for which of those works do ye stone me?
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but
for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are
gods?
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the
scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the
world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may
know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
John 10:31-38 KJV
We can learn from Christ
Jesus’ wisdom how he dealt with household enemies. When the Jews decided to
stone Christ Jesus to death, he justified himself. Christ Jesus reasoned with
his enemies.
There are some household enemies;
you must let them know you are right. Christ Jesus pointed to the Holy
Scriptures when he encountered his enemies. Maybe your enemies have taken you
to the law court.
Get a God-fearing, knowledgeable,
and experienced lawyer. Let him use the Constitution to deal with the enemy. Whiles
the lawyer is dealing with the enemy in the law court, take the case to the Court
of Heaven.
Settle the case with the laws
of God (the Holy Bible). Challenge the enemy with God’s Word (see Jeremiah 1:12).
Deploy and employ the blood of Christ Jesus in the divine court. Don’t sit idea
and expect God to fight for you.
Some household enemies
are rebellious. They fight unjustly. Let the enemy know what the Word of God
says about the situation. Like Christ Jesus, he pointed the household enemies
to the Holy Scriptures.
Household enemies can
misinterpret the Holy Bible; therefore, be full of the Word and the Spirit lest
they deceive you. If you remain quiet, household enemies will trample on you.
Speak up! Challenge the enemy with the Word of God (the Holy Bible), and you
will win the case.
How Christ Jesus dealt with household enemies (the third strategy)
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their
hand,
John 10:39 KJV
One thing about household
enemies is that they are persistent. Household enemies hardly give up. One
reason household finds it difficult to give up is that they have no vision for
their lives. They receive joy in your downfall.
Household enemies will do
their best to bring you down. Another thing about household enemies is that
they are ready to kill emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, and
physically. Unlike ignorant enemies who play around you, household enemies mean
business.
They know what they are
doing. Household enemies are conscious of their actions. They know the
consequences of their actions. Household enemies are ready to die for their
wickedness. This is one reason you must not be ignorant of their actions.
Check out my article; this
kind goes not except by fasting and prayers for more profound
revelations. As stated in the Holy Scriptures (see John 10:39), Christ Jesus
escaped from his enemies.
This means they tried
attacking him physically. However, Christ Jesus fled for his life. You must
escape from specific household enemies because they are formidable and
abnormal. You cannot reason with such enemies because they are full of evil
spirits.
Spiritual hosts of
wickedness have dominated such enemies (meditate on Matthew 10:16). Don’t act
like a hero when abnormal and possessed household enemies surround you. Flee! Christ
Jesus fled for his life.
Follow the example of
Christ Jesus. Escaping for your life does not mean you are afraid of enemies.
Fleeing does not mean they have won. It’s wisdom. Christ Jesus could command
thunder on the household enemies. However, he fled. Are you wiser than Christ
Jesus? Flee!
How Christ Jesus dealt with household enemies (the fourth strategy)
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and
went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
John 8:59 KJV
There are some enemies
you have to hide from. Fleeing differs from hiding. Hiding means you change
your identity. If you read the above Holy Scriptures, you will realize Christ
Jesus hid himself before leaving the temple.
Some Jews did not agree
with the teachings of Christ Jesus. Examining the doctrines of Christ Jesus,
they realized that Christ Jesus was declaring himself as God Almighty. However,
the Jews recognized Christ Jesus as an ordinary man.
They couldn’t believe
their ears. How can a man whose mother and father we know declare to be the son
of God? That’s familiarity. Christ Jesus was born of a virgin, Mary. The Holy
Spirit breathed into the womb of Mary, and the breath (seed) became Christ
Jesus.
However, most Jews did
not believe that Christ Jesus was the Messiah. Therefore, they decided to cast
stones at him. One of the ways the sinful received punishment according to laws
was through stoning.
The Jews wanted to stone
Christ Jesus to death. However, Christ Jesus hid himself. God can temporarily
blind your house enemies. In that season, your enemies will not be able to
recognize you.
The Holy Spirit temporarily
blinds your enemies so that you can escape for your life. Don’t be over-righteous.
Use the season of blindness to flee from the temple (workplace, home, “church,”
school, and neighborhood).
You are not wiser than
Christ Jesus (the Holy Spirit). If Christ Jesus hid from household enemies, why
are you showing yourself to household enemies? Hide and escape! Meditate on
these Holy Scriptures for more profound revelations.
And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were
filled with wrath,
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow
of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down
headlong.
But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
Luke 4:28-30 KJV

enemies and write in detail about the dynamics of dealing and living with
