The life of prayer
One of the master keys to
unlocking the heart of humankind is Spirit-led prayers (meditate on Proverbs
21:1). Prayer uncovers our secret thoughts. Through prayers, we release the
captive from the enemy’s prison.
Traveling to schools,
villages, and towns to win souls for Christ Jesus, I have realized that prayers
work wonders. People desperately need prayers. The devil is keeping people in
bondage because of prayerlessness.
We can control the
decisions of our families, Churches, schools, neighborhoods, and organizations
with Spirit-led prayers. Anytime we pray, we employ spiritual forces. Until we
pray, the holy spiritual forces cannot aid us.
If you want deliverance
from the works of the wicked, pray. Prayer can deliver us from traps and
conspiracies (meditate on Matthew 26:41). It doesn’t matter how strong,
influential, and wealthy a person is; our prayer can affect him.
When you pray, God takes
control of the situation. Prayer has the power to repair the enemy’s damages. Spirit-led
prayers can deliver us from curses, spells, charms, incantations, and demonic
dreams.
Prayer can turn the
enemy’s works in our favor. This is one reason I want to share with you ten
currencies (types and levels) of prayer. Imagine a world without prayer. Wickedness
will dominate.
The dark kingdom will
dominate the system if we fail to pray strategically. Prayer allows us to pour our
hearts into the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, impossibilities become possible.
Maybe you have tried your best.
However, you see no
results. You have applied the best principles and laws, yet nothing has
happened. Experts and professionals have tried their best to solve a particular
issue, yet they cannot resolve it.
Try prayers. Spirit-led prayers
can solve the unsolvable. Prayer can turn the tables. Prayer can clean, repair,
and delete any evil seed. Like an antivirus, it can clean, repair, and delete
viruses on our electronic devices.
Some antivirus can only
clean, while some can only delete. However, some antivirus can clean, delete,
and repair corrupted files on our electronic devices. That is how prayer works.
Every problem has a prayer strategy.
Doctors are in
categories. Some are experts in the eye, teeth, heart, nose, ear, hair, lungs,
private organs, digestive system, and animals. Although they are medical
doctors, they specialize in one sector.
You cannot give your
child with an eye problem to a dentist. The doctor (dentist) will destroy the
eye of your child because he does not have the knowledge to cure your child.
However, if you give your child to an ophthalmologist, he can cure your child.
In the same way, lawyers
are in categories. Some lawyers are experts in human rights, civil laws,
copyright laws, business laws, crime laws, defense laws, tax laws, and the Constitution.
A lawyer specializing in copyright laws can perfectly help you when someone
plagiarizes your document.
Regarding ministry, some
are apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers. Each is an expert
in a specific assignment. In the same way, prayer is in category. We don’t pray
Kakos's prayer when the situation needs Oros's prayer.
You have to know the best
prayer to deploy. Fly with me as I share ten types and levels of prayers. I
shared seven
types and levels of prayer in my previous article. Kindly check out

Below are the ten currencies (types and levels) of prayer.
Ten models and types of prayers
1. Oros prayers
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain
apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Matthew 14:23 KJV
And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Mark 6:46 KJV
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to
pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Luke 6:12 KJV
And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took
Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
Luke 9:28 KJV
From the Holy Scriptures,
we can see that our Savior and Lord Christ Jesus often prayed on the mountain.
Matthew recorded that Christ Jesus prayed on the mountain alone. Mark recorded
that Christ Jesus sent the crowd away after feeding them so he could get the time
to pray on the mountain.
Luke also recorded that
Christ Jesus took his closest disciples to pray on a mountain. The question is,
what is so special about mountain prayers? Christ Jesus could have prayed in
the temple.
However, he prayed on the
mountain. I have prayed on a mountain before, so I have some experience.
Praying on a mountain shows our seriousness with God. It signifies how
important and urgent the situation is.
On the mountain, miracles
often happen. You can encounter spiritual forces while praying on a mountain. Christ
Jesus could pray the whole night because he prayed on the mountain. Mountains
have tall trees, rocks, and fresh air.
On the mountain, it’s
between you, the Holy Spirit, holy angels, elements of God, creation, and unclean
spirits. Praying on the mountain empowers us to pray more. On the mountain, you
get the time to fellowship with the Heavenly Father, Christ Jesus, and the Holy
Spirit.
People will not disturb
you when you pray on the mountain. Spiritually, mountains signify
deliverance, power, influence, glory, insight, wisdom, temptation, and
blessings. We have spiritual and physical mountains.
A spiritual mountain is a
place of transaction. However, a physical mountain is an arena of separation
and fellowship. Praying on the mountains shows our maturity and love for God.
Start praying on the mountain.
You will experience the
Holy Spirit and the angels of God (see Matthew 17:1- 9). Be led by the Holy
Spirit before praying on the mountain because it’s a place of temptation,
upliftment, and abasement.
As the Holy Spirit leads,
you can pray with trusted and godly Christian believers on the mountain. If
Christ Jesus prayed on the mountain, start praying on the mountain. You will
experience the Lord's wisdom, power, and blessings when you constantly pray on
the mountain.
In Ghana, we have prayer
mountains. Christian believers, leaders, and unbelievers travel to prayer
mountains to pray and seek the face of God. Enforce mountain prayers. You will experience
the power of the supernatural.
2. Kakos prayers
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain:
ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it
upon your lusts.
James 4:2-3 KJV
One of the most dangerous
prayers to pray is the Kakos prayer. Kakos prayer is praying out of jealousy,
bitterness, unforgiveness, and pride. Many Christians and unbelievers pray out
of envy and greediness.
Unknown to them, this prayer
does not reach the throne room of God because it’s wicked, demonically
inspired, and unbiblical. Praying without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is
a Kakos prayer.
Kakos prayer is a form of
witchcraft. It originates from the flesh. One reason people cannot receive from
God is because they pray outside the will of God. Some people pray for things
that will destroy them and those connected to them.
Some people pray that God
should give them a husband (wife). Meanwhile, they are mentally,
psychologically, spiritually, financially, socially, emotionally, and
physically immature. God will not answer such prayers because you cannot handle
a husband.
Even if a responsible man
proposes to such girls, they will reject the man’s proposal because they are immature.
Out of immaturity, most women reject the marriage proposal of a potential
husband (father).
Some people pray for a
car but don’t know how to drive. They don’t even have the funds to buy diesel
and gas to power the car. These people do not have the funds to maintain the
car, yet they desperately pray for one.
Such prayer is Kakos
prayer. Some people pray for huge funds without vision, mission, or projects.
They don’t have the wisdom to handle the funds they pray for. People pray that
God should send them destiny helpers, yet they have not discovered their
purpose.
How can a destiny helper
support you if you don’t know where you are going? How do you expect a
responsible man to marry you if you behave like a girl? You have to build your
mind and think like a wife and mother.
The same applies to a man
praying and looking for a wife. First, build your financial, mental, social,
psychological, spiritual, and physical strength. When God sees your maturity,
he will answer your prayers.
A mature woman (potential
wife) will accept your proposal when she sees your maturity. It’s only girls
who reject marriage proposals. There is a great difference between a female, a girl,
a lady, a woman, a wife, and a mother.
In the same way, there is
a great difference between a male, boy, guy, man, husband, and father. When the mature
people meet, God will join their hearts. Praying that God should send you to
America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and outside Africa is a time waster if you
don’t know what you will do there.
I have received
opportunities to work in America, yet I have ignored them because the work does
not align with my purpose. I will travel to America, Europe, Asia, Australia,
and outside Ghana if the journey concerns the Kingdom's work and aligns with my
purpose.
You can outsmart
humankind. However, you cannot outsmart God. God knows the deep things in our
hearts. He knows the reason behind our prayers. God knows your prayer requests can
destroy you. Like a child praying that his parent should die because his parent
wakes him early in the morning to bathe, dress, eat, and go to school.
Such a child does not
know that his parent is helping him. God will not honor the child's prayer
request. He will not allow the parent to die because the child is praying to
consume his lust. The child wants temporal pleasure.
However, God knows the
parent is helping the child. Praying that someone should fall because he is
succeeding and you are failing is witchcraft. Such prayers are kakos prayers. Praying
that someone’s ministry, family, business, and leadership fail because his
works are not helping you is Kakos's prayer.
Kakos prayer is praying
that someone’s Church should fail because your ministry is failing. Praying
that someone’s marriage should fail because yours has failed is Kakos's prayer.
Praying that someone should die so you can inherit his assets is a Kakos prayer.
If your prayers challenge
the Word of God, it is Kakos's prayer. If you are praying that God should
destroy an innocent person, it’s Kakos prayer. God will not answer such
prayers. It’s witchcraft.
I encourage you to

Are you praying out of
jealousy, flesh, bitterness, and unforgiveness? Praying out of flesh will not
work. God checks our hearts; therefore, don’t pray amiss. Don’t pray for things
that will lead you to the lake of fire.
Don’t pray for something
you cannot handle. Don’t pray for an innocent person to die. The prayer can
backfire. Such prayers will not get a response from God. Satan and his minions
will respond to such prayers. Refrain from Kakos prayer because the Holy Spirit
honors prayers that agree with the Word of God.
3. Gregoreuo prayer
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is
willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41 KJV
The spiritual world greatly
impacts the physical world (the earth). Nothing happens without the knowledge
of the spiritual world. Before something happens on earth, the spiritual world
reveals it.
This is one reason we
must be alert. Christ Jesus stated that we must be vigilant and pray. People
often pray randomly. That’s not the best. To pray effectively, you must be sensitive to spiritual activities.
Your spiritual senses
must be active to discern the activities in the supernatural realm. The Holy
Spirit can speak to you to pray while reading. When you hear the voice of the
Holy Spirit, stop reading and pray.
Sometimes, while
relaxing, eating, washing, watching a movie, sleeping, and having leisure, the
Holy Spirit can press you to pray a specific prayer. Other times, you will feel
uncomfortable in a specific season.
In your heart, you will
feel that something is not right. Your heart can beat fast. Most often, the
Holy Spirit is telling you to pray. Pray in the Spirit when your spirit alerts
you. It can be five minutes, ten minutes, thirty minutes, one hour, or three
hours of prayer.
Just pray. Mention the
name that comes into your heart. That person might need your prayers during the
season. Sometimes, you will feel that something is about to happen. Just pray
in the Spirit. It can be an attack on the enemy. Praying in that season will
bring deliverance and blessings (see 1 Peter 5:8-9). Are you ignoring gregoreuo
prayer?
4. Taher prayers
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately
wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9 KJV
Naturally, the heart of
humankind is wicked, especially people who are not born again. Who thought
David, a man after God’s heart, would impregnate his trusted warrior’s wife and
murder the warrior?
David impregnated Uriah’s
wife (Bathsheba), killed Uriah, and took Bathsheba as his wife. You can read
the account in Second Samuel chapter eleven in the Holy Scriptures for more
profound revelations.
One of the greatest mistakes
we can make is to believe and trust ourselves that we can never do evil (meditate
on Ecclesiastes 7:20, Psalms 130:3, Job 15:14-16, Psalms 143:1-2, Numbers 23:19,
Mark 7:21).
We must understand that we
live in an uncircumcised flesh. Secondly, we have an unregenerated soul. It
doesn’t matter how pure we are; the devil can tempt us to sin. The devil
tempted the holiest man and God (Christ Jesus), how much us?
The fact that we hate sin
with passion does not mean we cannot fall into the trap of sin. The flesh can
influence us to sin. The lustful desires of the soul can influence us to sin. The
devil and his minions can influence us to sin.
Unbelievers and carnal
Christians can influence us to sin. Pride can take the grace of God from our lives.
When God removes his grace (covering) upon our lives, we can fall into the trap
of sin. This is one reason God states that the heart is deceitful and
desperately wicked (meditate on Ecclesiastes 7:20, Psalms 130:3, Job 15:14-16, Psalms
143:1-2, Numbers 23:19, Mark 7:21).
We might think nobody can
bring us down. Have you analyzed the mosquito? It’s tiny yet can kill the most
giant, strongest, wisest, and powerful man. That is how sin works. Don’t over-trust
yourself.
Trust and have faith in
the grace of God. Occasionally, pray that God cleanse your heart. You might not
know the wickedness of your heart until an opportunity arrives. Maybe you are
not engaging in evil because you are financially weak.
Maybe you are not doing
evil because no one has given you power, fame, and wealth. Some people state
that wealth, fame, and power reveal the heart of humankind. Solomon was
one of Israel's wisest and wealthiest men, yet he did unimaginable (wicked)
things.
David loved the Holy
Spirit to the extent that God confessed his loyalty, yet David did great evil
when the opportunity knocked at his door. I never knew the condition of my
heart until the Holy Spirit revealed them to me in dreams.
You might be living in
sexual purity, leading Bible studies, pastoring a Church, winning souls for
Christ Jesus, and doing great things for God. The people in the Church might
have tagged you as a holy vessel. Your family and friends might have classified
you as a righteous vessel. That’s good. However, do not allow external
righteousness to sink into your heart. Enter your closet and pray like David.
…Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy
lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before
me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in
thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be
clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part
thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be
whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which
thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from
me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy
free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted
unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and
my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
Psalms 51:1-15 KJV
This is one of the best
prayers you can pray. You will be surprised that the Holy Spirit will reveal
the secrets of your heart while praying this prayer from your heart. Praying
for cleansing does not necessarily mean you are a sinner. This prayer (taher
prayer) is a prayer of consecration and sanctification. Occasionally,
engage in taher prayer to monitor your heart and spiritual state.
5. Enteuxis prayer
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV
Leadership plays a vital
role in the race of humankind. The fall and rise of Churches, nations,
organizations, institutions, and businesses rest on leadership. God has given
the earth to humankind. He has delegated authority to us.
The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the
earth hath he given to the children of men.
Psalms 115:16 KJV
We are in charge of this
world (meditate on Genesis 1:28-30). If we decide to destroy the earth, the
Holy Spirit will allow it. If we decide to build it, the Holy Spirit will allow
it. However, prayer can press God to interfere.
Apostle Paul stated that
we must intercede for all men. Whether they are Muslims, Buddhists, Hinduists,
Judaists, Taoists, Shintoists, humanists, freemasons, occultists, weak, strong,
short, long, black, white, pagans, universalists, or any religion they profess,
we must pray for them.
We must pray for their
deliverance. We must pray for kings and those in authority because it's our responsibility. Most wars, poverty, injustice, and wealth we see in
nations, Churches, organizations, businesses, and communities stand on
leadership.
If leadership makes bad
decisions, it affects Churches, businesses, and organizations. In the same way,
if leadership makes the right decisions, it builds the Church, businesses, and
organizations. This is one reason we must dedicate time to pray for leadership.
You have been praying for
yourself for a long time. It’s time to change your prayer. Pray for leaders and
kings. Pray for your president, ministers, boss, pastor, parent, and people of
power. When you pray for them, the Holy Spirit will give them the wisdom to
make the right decision.
Praying for those in
authority will deliver them from demonic manipulation and wicked people
(advisers). Anytime you see constant war, poverty, and injustice within a
jurisdiction, it signifies the prayerlessness of the Christian believers.
The more we pray for
leadership, the more the Holy Spirit and angels of God will interfere.
Corruption, conflict, and calamities will clear off when we intercede for those
making decisions. Are you praying for yourself only?
Start praying for leaders
and those in authority! I promised to share ten types and levels of prayers in
