The bitter woman
I knew a married woman
who complained that her parent did not take care of her when she was young.
This woman had two children with her husband. She stayed home while her husband
worked.
This woman depended on
her husband for basic needs and wants. Her husband was a hardworking man. He
did his best to provide for the family. However, the woman chose not to work.
She decided to complain
bitterly of her parents’ “irresponsibility” daily. She believed that if her
parents cared for her while she was young, she would be working to support her
husband. I could see her husband's frustration as he had to close late to
provide for her wife and children. The last time I saw this woman, she sold
bottled water and soft drinks.
The key of responsibility
Many people complain
because they do not take responsibility. Like the married woman who complained
that her parents did not care for her. She believed that if her parents had sent
her to school or placed her in a vocational institution, she could help her
husband.
The woman might be right
because parents are responsible for their child’s welfare. However, we
shouldn’t blame our parents for neglecting us. We have a mind of our own. The
fact that your parent did not care for you does not mean you shouldn’t do
anything for yourself.
You have what it takes to
become valuable. Maybe the government is not creating a pleasant environment
for jobs. Do not blame the government for their irresponsibility. Develop
strategies that can help you become valuable.
Although the government
has a role in our growth, we shouldn’t depend on the government for prosperity.
We have what it takes to become valuable. When you decide that your destiny
rests in your hands, you will do “anything” to become successful.
Anything in the context
of this article does not mean doing illegal jobs. Anything in the context of
this article does not mean joining demonic groups to become prosperous. Anything
in the context of this article means doing the right thing to become
successful.
Analyze successful people.
You will see that they are responsible. It is only irresponsible people who
blame others for their failure. God has given every man twenty-four hours a day
to do something meaningful.
It doesn’t matter what
continent you are in. You have twenty hours a day to do something with your
life. God has not given the rich thirty hours a day. Neither has God given the
“poor” ten hours a day.
Everyone has twenty-four
hours a day. It is time to take your destiny into your hands. God has designed
a precious and glorious destiny. It is up to you to search for that assignment
and fulfill it.
Numerous successful
people have no one to take care of them. However, they took responsibility. They
did not complain. They complied and succeeded. Several people came from
glorious homes.
However, they failed to
take responsibility. Because of their irresponsibility, they failed. Stop
complaining that your parents, siblings, government, and friends have ignored
you. Start complying!
Take responsibility! When
you take responsibility, the wise ones will help you. Complaining is a waste of
time, energy, and resources. Utilise the time, energy, and resources, you will
use to complain to pursue your assignment.
Nature will help you when
you stop complaining. The forces of the universe will support you when you
comply. However, when you keep complaining, you will get complainers who will
help you swim in the sea of failure.
Check the lives of
complainers. You will see that they are full of depression, fear, and
insecurity. Complainers will help you blame others for your failure. Complainers
will jeopardize your life. Complainers do not end well, so don’t become one
with them!
God knows how and when to
punish irresponsible parents, families, and the government. Let God take revenge
(meditate on Romans 12:9). Take responsibility, and you will become successful.
Are you complaining or complying?
The three master keys
Aside from taking
responsibility, you must be diligent, sacrificial, and disciplined. These three
master keys will take you high regardless of environment and people. I would
not have reached this level if I ignored these three master keys. The Holy
Bible declares that diligence increases productivity.
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of
the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 10:4 KJV
The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of
every one that is hasty only to want.
Proverbs 21:5 KJV
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings;
he shall not stand before mean men.
Proverbs 22:29 KJV
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and
election sure…
2 Peter 1:10 KJV
I encourage you to
download and read my book, The Uncommon Wisdom Keys, and other wisdom-related books
for more profound revelations. The books are free on my blog. Are you
determined to succeed?
If you are determined and
desperate to succeed, enemies cannot stop you. One thing I have observed about
the Nigerians I have encountered is their diligence. Almost all the Nigerians I
have encountered are determined to succeed! They show in their character and
actions that they want to do business!
The spirit of some African brothers
I remember meeting a
Nigerian who told me he would help me succeed with my books. He said he would create
a professional video for me, design professional book covers, and promote me on
his channels.
He even told me he would
rent the best video cameras with his money and do everything for me at his
cost! I told myself, this man will do these for me for free? I reasoned in my
chambers and decided not to work with him because I felt uncomfortable with his
extreme desperation to make me rich in a hasty way.
I could see from his eyes
and actions that he was serious, desperate, and determined regarding business. However,
he was so desperate to make me “succeed!” I want to succeed. However, his
passion to make me “succeed” was greater than mine!
I felt something was
wrong with his passion for making me rich, so I put it on hold. In my encounter
with Nigerians, I noticed they are incredibly “greedy” regarding business. They
are ready to pay the price to do business!
I also know some
Ghanaians (friends) who are determined, desperate, and passionate to succeed in
business. However, the Nigerians I have encountered have a strong entrepreneurial
spirit. They are ready to succeed!
I knew a man who used to
sell food in a wheelbarrow. He placed the food in the wheelbarrow and walked in
the street with the wheelbarrow! This man was a Nigerian! He did not care about
the country he found himself.
He was determined to
succeed in Ghana! The last time I saw him, he was preaching with two large
speakers in the street. I could see his determination to succeed in Ghana. I
think most Nigerians see Ghana as one of the promised lands to make a profit,
so they utilize their time, energy, and resources for business when they come
to Ghana.
Diligence is one of the master keys.
Stop complaining and
start complying! I have written over seventy books by God's grace because of
diligence. I sacrifice my time, energy, and resources to write and publish. Every
work demands diligence, discipline, and sacrifice!
There is nothing like
luck in ministry, business, and success. Luck comes to those who are prepared.
Luck works for those who utilize the grace of God. You must be determined to
succeed!
When you are determined
to succeed, it creates a strong aura that resists and opposes enemies of
progress. Diligence, discipline, and sacrifice are the master keys to breaking
the chains of poverty, shame, and rejection.
People may reject you.
However, your diligence, discipline, and sacrifice will open doors for you. I
sacrifice my time for ministry work and writing. While people are sleeping, I
will be using that time to work.
It has become part of me!
I rarely sleep in the middle of the night! No one tells me to rise, pray, and
work. It’s my life. Although I rest when tired, I don’t play with time. I use
time profitably. Stop complaining. Use your time and mind profitably.
Know when to work and rest (pleasure). You will stop complaining when you become diligent, disciplined, and sacrificial. If you are diligent, disciplined, and sacrificial, you will not get the time to respond to enemies who destructively criticize and oppose you. Your mind and body will be focused on essential things to the extent that you will not have the time for gossip, unnecessary things, and unimportant issues.
- Are you focused on the assignment?
- Are you doing the right thing with your precious time, energy, and resources?
- Are you wasting time on unprofitable things?
Stop complaining and
start complying!
The power of mentorship
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of
counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 11:14 KJV
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of
counsellors they are established.
Proverbs 15:22 KJV
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of
counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 24:6 KJV
We must know in life that
we are limited in wisdom and power. God is the only one who is omnipresent,
omnipotent, and omniscient. We don’t know everything. That is why we need
others to help us accomplish specific tasks.
You need the wisdom of
successful people to become successful. It doesn’t matter how knowledgeable you
are; you don’t know everything. This is one reason you need mentorship. I admit
that I don’t know everything.
I learn from others. Even
if the person is a child and he knows what I don’t know, I will learn from him!
You are failing because you are not humble enough to learn from others. The
Holy Bible states that there is safety in the multitude of counselors (Proverbs
11:14;15:22;24:6).
In other words, experts, professionals, and wise and knowledgeable people can help you become the vessel you desire. Check the vessels God used. A significant number of them had mentors and spiritual fathers.
- Jethro mentored Moses.
- Apostle Paul mentored Timothy and several disciples of Christ Jesus
- Apostle Paul submitted to the counsels of the twelve Apostles
- Prophet Elijah mentored Prophet Elisha
- Abraham mentored Isaac
- Isaac mentored Jacob and Essau
- Nathan mentored David
- Eli mentored Samuel
The list goes on. It
doesn’t matter what path you want to tread. People have trod that path. Some
failed, while some succeeded. It will be wise not to repeat the mistake of
those who tread on the path you want to tread.
In the same way, it will
be wise to learn from the successful people who have trod on the path you want
to tread. For instance, assuming you want to become a minister of God. We have
Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers in the ministry.
Within this five-fold
ministry, we have sub-sections. Some ministers do ministry locally and
internationally. Some ministers, too, pastor local congregations and churches
in other countries. Some ministers train ministers in theological and bible
schools.
Some, too, are in
deliverance ministries. Some ministers are on television, radio, and online. Some,
too, are into miracles and power ministries. Some ministers are church
planters. You must know your calling and where the Holy Spirit has sent you.
This way, you will know
which successful minister to follow and receive instruction from. Every course
you want to pursue, there are people on the path. Search for the right vessel.
Watch his videos.
Listen to his tapes and
read his books. The internet has become an excellent channel for discovering
and following the right mentor. It is not compulsory to meet the mentor one on
one. If you have the time, energy, and resources to meet the mentor, that’s
great.
However, you can sit in
the comfort of your home and connect with the mentor's videos, tapes, and books.
You learn from him by reading his books and connecting with his materials. However,
be prayerful when choosing a mentor.
Some people have failed
because they chose the wrong mentor. Some, too, have succeeded because they
chose the right mentor. Be led by the Holy Spirit before choosing a spiritual
leader (mentor).
As stated at the
beginning of the article, we don’t know everything. You need the knowledge of a
successful vessel to become successful. My definition of success may differ
from your definition.
However, in my
understanding, success means discovering your assignment and fulfilling it to
the fullest. Some people are experts in law, business, medicine, ministry, Bible,
theology, music, money, and leadership.
Locate a successful vessel
and learn from that vessel (mentor). Read his credible biographies, watch his videos, and connect with his materials. Stop complaining and start
complying. Apostle Paul stated that we should follow him as he follows Christ
Jesus.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV
- Who are you following?
- Who is mentoring you?
- Who do you submit to?
Reading books, listening
to tapes, and watching videos of successful people are some ways of submitting
and following. When you obey the instructions in a vessel's books, videos, and
tape, you are “submitting” to the person (mentor).
Remember, the Holy Spirit
is the best mentor. However, it will help if you get a human vessel to follow
because it is biblical. I encourage you to download and read my series of books on the Holy Spirit. It’s a mentorship of the Holy Spirit. The books are free
on my blog. You will stop complaining when a successful mentor enters your
life.
The key of self-worth
Knowing who you are
determines your success. Do you know that we are seated with Christ Jesus in
the heavenly places? Let’s find out from the Holy Bible.
…when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together
with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV
You complain because you
don’t know who you are in Christ Jesus. Satan and his minions dominate people
who are ignorant of their divine position. Know who you are in Christ Jesus and
exercise power and authority over the enemy.
Chasing false prophets
and spiritual leaders will not solve the problem. Greater is He (Christ Jesus)
that is you than the one in this world!
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4 KJV
Assuming your father is
the president of your country. Won’t you be happy? The position of your father
will place you on a high pedestal. People will submit to you because of your
father. In the same way, you (Christian believer) have power over every force.
Our Father is God
Almighty (Yahweh). The moment you become born again, you become a child of God
Almighty (Christ Jesus). Being born again means you have repented from your
sins and accepted Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord of your life.
You can read my book, Who
is Christian Believer, for more profound revelation. The book is free on my
blog. The devil and his cohorts torment people who are ignorant of their
spiritual heritage.
Stop complaining and
start complying! You are a royal priest in the spiritual realm (meditate on 1
Peter 2:9). Call on the name of Christ Jesus in times of affliction. Call on
the name of Christ Jesus when demons try to oppress, depress, suppress, and
possess you.
When you rebuke the devil
using the name of Christ Jesus, it will flee! Know your authority in Christ
Jesus. You are above principalities, dominions, powers, and spiritual hosts of
darkness in high places.
Stop complaining about
the demonic dreams and demonic attacks. Take authority as a child of God. When
you call on Christ Jesus, the occultic powers, witches, forces of darkness, and
enemies will bow.
I encourage you to
download and read my series of books for more profound revelation about enemies and how you can dominate them. The books are free on my blog. Do you know who you are in Christ
Jesus?
Do you know that Christ
Jesus is above every power? Do you know that Christ Jesus is God Almighty? Stop
complaining and start complying. Surrender your life to Christ Jesus and use the
Word (the Holy Bible) to dominate the wickedness of the wicked!
The wisdom of the Holy Spirit
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is
like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 1:5-8 KJV
As stated in the previous
point, we don’t know everything. There are times when wise, knowledgeable
professionals and experts’ wisdom fails. At this stage, we need superior
knowledge.
You need the uncommon wisdom
of the Holy Spirit to work out the unstoppable problems people cannot solve. You
might have tried your best. However, to no avail. Can I present to you that
some issues demand the wisdom of the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the supplier
of wisdom. When you ask in faith, He will give you the wisdom to solve complex
problems. There is no problem that the Holy Spirit cannot solve. You have to
become one with the Holy Spirit.
I encourage you to
download and read my series of books on the Holy Spirit.
These books will help you align with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You can
also download and read my book, How to Receive the Anointing of Wisdom, for more profound revelations.
The books are free on my blog. We are limited in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. We cannot solve every problem. We must grow in wisdom, power, and understanding. This is one reason Christ Jesus grew in wisdom when He walked on earth as a man (see Luke 2:40).
Do you know why the
president has ministers and members of parliaments? The president needs these
competent people to help him make critical decisions. The president is the
overall boss. However, he does not know everything.
This is one reason he
appoints ministers to manage different sectors of the economy. In the same way,
you don’t know everything. You need superior knowledge. The best person to
supply you with uncommon wisdom is the Holy Spirit.
Do you know that the
books and articles you see online with my name (Duodu Henry Appiakorang)
came through the Holy Spirit? When I pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit gives me ideas!
You may not understand
how the Holy Spirit gives me ideas. However, as I pray in the Spirit and study
the Holy Bible, the Holy Spirit whispers the ideas to me. When I receive the
ideas, I write them.
That is how I have
written over seventy books and many articles. It is by the grace of God. However,
I discipline myself and work hard to write and publish books and articles. You
can download and read my books, How I Wrote Over 40 Books and Over 350 Articles Within 3 Years, and How to Write and Publish Books for
more profound revelation.
The books are free on my
blog. God has given us the grace. However, we must discipline ourselves and
work hard. The Holy Spirit does not work with lazy people. He works with
diligent, disciplined, and sacrificial people.
These three virtues are the
wisdom of the Holy Spirit. You might think people become great and profitable
by chance. That’s a lie! It takes diligence, discipline, and sacrifice to
become a valuable person.
The Holy Spirit will tell
you to be diligent, disciplined, and sacrificial to become productive. That’s
wisdom! Grace is available to all. However, it takes the wisdom of the Holy
Spirit to make things happen.
Stop complaining and
start complying! Pray for wisdom. Ask in faith. You will stop complaining when
the Holy Spirit anoints you with wisdom. I will continue in the next article.

knowledge that brings deliverance. You can read my previous article related to this article for more profound revelations.
