Deeper Light About Warfare [Breaking the walls of the flesh] – 6
The real battle
Many people know about spiritual
warfare. However, few are aware of fleshy warfare. In my book, How to Live and Deal with Enemies, I have revealed the seven types of enemies.
Download and read that book for a more profound revelation. The book is free on
my blog and youtube channel.
In this article, I will
unveil profound truths about the battle of the flesh. You might be asking, Is
there a fleshy warfare? The truth of the matter is that there is a battle
taking place in our flesh. If you read my previous articles, I stated that we have spiritual, soulish, and physical warfare.
Kindly read my previous
article related to this article for a more profound revelation. I encourage you
to download and read my series of books on spiritual warfare for a more profound revelation.
The books are free on my blog and youtube channel.
In the previous articles,
I stated that we must fight the enemy. Get me right when I state that we must
fight. I am not stating that we should use weapons such as guns, knives, bombs,
bows, and arrows to fight the enemy.
That’s another level of
warfare. The old testament (covenant) was full of physical warfare. We are not
in that century. We are in the new covenant. When I state that we should fight
the enemy, I mean we should fight the enemy on our knees.
I think some people don’t
understand the point. Let me write it plainly. We must pray warfare prayers.
That is how we fight the enemy as Christian believers. A time comes when we
must defend ourselves physically when the enemy engages.
In that season, we must
apply the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. I don’t mean that we should pursue the
enemy with physical guns. However, we must pursue the enemy with spiritual
guns, swords, and missiles.
Some enemies prefer
physical battles. With such enemies, we first fight them on our knees. We have
several ways of engaging the enemy. I encourage you to download and read my series of books on warfare, especially 77 Strategic Models of Prayer,
for a more profound revelation. The books are free on my blog and youtube
channel.
War between the Flesh and Spirit
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of
the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the
flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the
things that ye would.
Galatians 5:16-17 KJV
Apostle Paul wrote in his letters to the Church in Galatia that there
is a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. Paul stated that our flesh
lusts against the Holy Spirit while the Holy Spirit desires to control our
flesh.
The flesh and the Spirit disagree because each wants his way. The flesh wants us to do what pleases Him, while the Holy Spirit wants us to do what pleases the Heavenly Father. Let me use this analogy to explain the conflict between the flesh and the Holy Spirit. Assuming you have two friends. One is called Ama Sarah, and the other is Joseph Kwaku. Anytime you meet Ama Sarah, she wants you to eat and drink with her daily.
However, Kwaku Joseph wants you to read with him in the Library daily. In
this case, Ama Sarah wants you to eat and drink. However, Kwaku Joseph wants
you to read. That is how the flesh and the Holy Spirit influence us.
Let’s use the flesh as Ama Sarah and Kwaku Joseph as the Holy Spirit. The
flesh (Ama Sarah) wants us to eat and drink, while the Holy Spirit (Kwaku
Joseph) wants us to read. These are two forces desiring our attention.
The flesh and the Holy Spirit will not force us to do what they desire
because we have free will. We can choose to obey the Holy Spirit or the flesh.
It’s a battle many Christian believers have ignored.
As I write this article, I am in this battle. The Holy Spirit often
tells me to pray in the middle of the night. However, the flesh tells me to
sleep. Everybody faces this battle. The battle of the flesh and the Holy Spirit
is universal.
The moment you become born again, the Holy Spirit decides to take over
your life because you are a new creation (meditate on 2 Corinthians 5:17). The
battle of the flesh and the Holy Spirit is one the greatest battles we must win
if we want to live a victorious Christian life.
It is who you feed that becomes the master. When you feed the flesh,
the flesh controls you. If you feed the Holy Spirit, the Spirit controls you. This
is one reason the Holy Spirit has given me the knowledge and experience to
write books on how to walk and live in the Spirit. I encourage you to download and read the
books. The books are free on my blog and youtube channel.
Walking and living in the flesh
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but
they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in
you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal
bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after
the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:5-14 KJV
Let's dissect the Holy Scriptures. First, let’s take Romans
chapter eight, verses five.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but
they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:5 KJV
Apostle Paul stated that those who live and walk after the flesh concentrate
on the things of the flesh. When your mind is focused on the flesh, you will think
about carnal things such as food, water, money, houses, cars, airplanes, and
other temporal things.
This is one reason unbelievers and carnal Christians only think about the world. Food, cars, water, money, houses, airplanes, and houses are not evil. These things can even make you serve God better. You can use these resources to support those in need and expand the Kingdom's work. However, if your mind is only focused on temporal things, you become a slave to the flesh (meditate on 1 Timothy 6:10).
Those who the Holy Spirit leads focus on evangelism, soul-winning,
church building, missionary works, the Holy Bible, angels, and treasures in
Heaven. However, those led by the flesh act like animals.
They only think about what they will eat and drink. I may sound insulting.
However, that is the hard truth. Animals eat to live and drink! Some people
only think about building houses, having children, eating, drinking, playing
games, watching movies, having bodily pleasure, and sleeping.
Apart from that, nothing else! That is what people of the flesh focus
on—eating and flashing out the waste. That is not how we should live. Animals
live that way! Some animals are even more important than some human beings
because they work to make life productive.
However, some “human beings” only think about their flesh (stomach and
sex). Some people concentrate on artificial hair, nails, eyelashes, dresses, cars,
and other mundane things. We will need these things.
However, that shouldn’t be the ultimate focus! Those are secondary
things. We must be focused on spiritual things (meditate on Matthew 6:33). As we pursue the things of the
world, let us not put aside spiritual things. In verse six of Romans chapter
eight, Apostle Paul continues.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace.
Romans 8:6 KJV
If you only think about the things of the flesh, death awaits. Spiritual,
soulish, and physical death will take over if you are carnal. Depression,
confusion, and fear will dominate you if you only concentrate on the things of
the flesh.
However, if you focus more on spiritual things such as heavenly
mansions, holy angels, evangelism, church building, and soul-winning for Christ
Jesus with all your heart, the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit will overwhelm you.
While the unbelievers think about what they will eat and drink, the Holy Spirit will make you joyful. That joy will is unexplainable. It just comes upon you while
building the Church with your heart. While the unbelievers are thinking about the
economic crisis, you will be rejoicing in the Lord!
While people are complaining about their salaries and bills, you will
be experiencing peace, joy, and blessings of the Holy Spirit. You may not have
cars, airplanes, and other worldly treasures. However, because you are focused
on spiritual things, peace, and life will be your reward. In verse six of Romans
chapter eight, Apostle Paul continues.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Romans 8:7 KJV
Apostle Paul stated that carnality is an opposition against God. Carnal
people wage war against the Holy Spirit by their deeds and actions. For
instance, the Holy Spirit might want you to fast and pray.
However, the flesh will tell you to watch movies and play games. That’s
an opposition to the desires of the Holy Spirit. It is a war taking place. In
verse eight of Romans chapter eight, Apostle Paul continues.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:8 KJV
We cannot walk in faith if we walk and live in the flesh. People who
live by the dictates of the flesh cannot please God. Pleasing God takes faith,
and there is no way you can walk in faith if you live in the flesh (meditate on
Hebrews 11:6). Walking and living in the flesh pleases the devil and his
minions. Pleasing the devil makes the battle challenging. In verse thirteen of
Romans chapter eight, Apostle Paul continues.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Romans 8:13 KJV
You are living after the flesh generates death. It makes you dead and
blind to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Most often, you will be unable to
remember your dreams. You will struggle to encounter the Holy Spirit when you
are dead and weak in the Spirit.
Your faith in the Lord will weaken when you walk and live in the flesh.
This is one reason you must wage war against the flesh. Supernatural encounters
will be far from you when you are a slave to the flesh. The battle of the flesh
is one of the greatest battles you must not take for granted. Battle of the
flesh demands discipline.
Apostle Paul keeps his body
…I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that
by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV
Another word for the body is the flesh. Apostle Paul knew that to walk with the Holy Spirit, he had to keep his body. Paul had to discipline the flesh to enable him to dominate the desires of the flesh. Apostle Paul had to silence the fruits of the flesh because He needed the counsel of the Holy Spirit. Paul did not want to be worthless; therefore, he disciplined the flesh with fasting and prayers.
Failure to discipline the
flesh can make people reject you. You can be the most anointed person in the
Church. However, failure to discipline the flesh can make you depressed,
unworthy, fearful, and worthless.
Walking and living in the
flesh can activate the curse of the devil. You must win the battle of the flesh
because it’s a seed that rekindles the enemy’s fire. We must discipline the
flesh. It’s a battle we must not ignore if we want to fulfill the plans of God.
A thorn in the flesh.
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the
revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan
to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from
me.
2 Corinthians 12:7-8 KJV
As a Christian believer,
you can have some shortcomings. Apostle Paul struggled with the flesh. There
was a thorn in the flesh that limited Apostle Paul. Upon all the anointing in
Paul’s life, he had limitations.
Apostle Paul prayed
several times that the Holy Spirit should take away those thorns. However, the Holy
Spirit assured him that his grace was sufficient for him. Paul needed the grace
to work with those thorns in the flesh.
In my book, How to Walk and Live in the Spirit, I have revealed the thorns in the flesh. Download and read the
book. The book is free on my blog and youtube channel. Fight the battle of
flesh because it limits your flow with Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
The struggle of the flesh
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:
for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I
find not.
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not,
that I do.
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my
mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this
death?
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7:18-25 KJV
Have you ever found
yourself in a position where you feel like giving up? Maybe you are addicted to
a particular sin. You have tried the best you can to come out from that sin.
However, you cannot come out.
The more you try to eliminate
that sin, the greater the resistance. It’s a seed of the flesh. Apostle Paul
had similar issues. He declared his wretchedness. Keep reading. I will teach
you what to do.
I encourage you to download and read my series of books on the Holy Spirit for a more profound revelation. The books will help in your Christian life. The good news is that the books are free on my blog and youtube channel!
Eight
reasons why we must dominate the flesh
1. You will become an enemy of God and His Kingdom if
you don’t control the flesh
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which
is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:12-14 KJV
One major reason we must
dominate the desires of the flesh is because we have the power to do it.
Secondly, we must dominate the flesh because it challenges the Holy Spirit.
Thirdly, we must dominate the desires of the flesh because it makes us carnal.
As stated in the Holy
Bible, the carnal vessel (similar to a natural man) does not receive the things
of the Spirit because they are foolish unto him. Walking in the flesh makes you
spiritually blind and unfruitful.
Things that look
important to spiritual people will sound foolish if you only walk by the
dictates of the flesh. For instance, natural people often judge Christian
believers praying in tongues as mad because they don’t understand that
language.
However, a spiritual
person understands the power and mysteries of speaking, praying, and singing in
tongues. Carnality will make you an enemy of God. It will make you oppose the
Holy Bible, the Holy Spirit, the Church, and Christian believers.
Living by the dictates of
the flesh causes a lot of problems. It makes you an asset of the dark kingdom
and a liability to the Kingdom of God. Keep reading. I will reveal more truth
about fleshy battle. Do not take the battle of the flesh for granted if you
want to become a fruitful Christian believer.
2. You will be full of
self if you allow the flesh to control you
Walking and living by the
desires of the flesh can make you proud. Haven’t you observed that anytime you
allow the flesh to dominate you, things that are not supposed to make you angry
can easily make you angry?
Living by the flesh will
make you selfish. You will become an enemy to God because of pride (see James 4:6).
You will only be concerned about yourself if you allow the flesh to dominate
you.
Pride will become your leader
if you walk and live in the flesh. Satan and his cohorts will send you a friend
request if you walk and live in the flesh. The devil will call you his son or
daughter if you allow the flesh (pride) to control you.
3. You will be over-emotional
if you allow the flesh to dominate you
One thing about the flesh
is that it can make us emotional. Being emotional is not evil. However, if you
are over-emotional, you become a slave to the flesh. Things that don’t make
sense will start making sense if you are too emotional.
You will make a decision
that you are not supposed to make if you allow the flesh to dominate you. For
instance, you will be quick-tempered if you are too emotional. You will easily
cry on unimportant things if the flesh dominates you. You will be fighting unnecessarily
because of the flesh. Are you ready to wage war against the flesh?
4. The enemy will recruit
you if you walk and live in the flesh
The devil does not
struggle to get people who live by the desires of the flesh. Living in the
flesh makes you a potential enemy prey because the flesh is the devil's abode.
Living in the flesh eliminates you from the realm of the Holy Spirit and angels.
When you remain in the flesh realm, the devil will defeat and enslave you,
making you his ally.
5. You will become a
slave to the world if you allow the flesh to control you
If you don’t want to join
the rat racers, discipline the flesh (meditate on 1 John 2:16). Some conclude
that the world is gloomy, dark, and unpleasant because they only concentrate on
temporal things. If your mind is full of carnal things, the systems of the
world will control you, enslaving you.
6. You will be similar to
the beasts if the flesh controls you
Animals live to eat. We
don’t live to eat because Christ Jesus said we should not live by bread (food)
alone. There are times we eat when hungry. However, living by the dictates of
the flesh will not differentiate us from animals.
Animals are always
thinking about food and water. This is how the flesh will control you if you concentrate
only on the flesh. Animals procreate, eat, drink, socialize, sleep, and die. If
your mind is only on procreation, food, drink, socialization, sleep, and death,
you are similar to the beast. Do not remain in the realm of the flesh. Climb
higher! Are you ready to fight this battle?
7. You come under
condemnation if the flesh controls you
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1 KJV
The entire chapter of
Romans chapter eight talks a lot about spiritual, soulish, and fleshy warfare.
However, I will focus more on the flesh. To be carnally minded is death (see
Romans 8:6). Living in the flesh brings you under the curse of the flesh and
the devil. When you walk in the flesh, condemnation awaits you.
8. You will not inherit
the kingdom of God if the flesh controls you
People who walk and live
in the flesh will not experience the Kingdom of God (meditate on Ephesians 5:5,
Galatians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 15:50). Dominate the flesh if you want to escape
the lake of fire. Discipline the flesh if you want to enjoy the new earth
(Heaven).
Seventeen things that happen when we walk and live in the flesh
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which
I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which
do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 KJV
When we walk and live in
the flesh. These seeds manifest in our lives.
Adultery:
Walking and living in the flesh makes you bypass your spouse. You will start
cutting corners with your wife if you have a husband. In the same way, you will
start having extramarital affairs with a stranger if you have a wife. Adultery
is a seed of the flesh. Fight it!
Fornication: When the flesh dominates you, you will enjoy sleeping around. You will even justify sexual immorality because the flesh has dominated you. Dominate the flesh if you want to walk in sexual purity. I encourage you to download and read my books for more wisdom keys (deliverance).

blog and youtube channel.
Uncleanness:
Physically and spiritually, you will be dirty and smelly in the sight of the
Holy Spirit and the angels of God when you allow the flesh to dominate you.
Lasciviousness:
You will start breaking the laws in your community, school, church, and
workplace when the flesh dominates you. Godly laws and order will become
foolish because of carnality. Lawlessness will be on your badge. You will
oppose anything that makes sense when you walk and live in the flesh.
Idolatry:
When you allow the flesh to dominate you, you will exalt the things of the
flesh above God. For instance, temporal assets will become your god. You will
value creation more than the Creator. You will start bowing to strange gods and
images made by the hands of humankind when the flesh controls you.
Witchcraft:
You will start practicing demonic rituals when the flesh dominates you. Charms,
sorcery, spell casting, hard drugs, bewitchment, and the use of demonic books
to control and destroy others will become fun when the flesh controls you.
Hatred:
You will be hostile to people that come close to you. People meant to help you
will become enemies when the flesh leads you. You will start opposing others
for no good reason. The rising of others will become your problem because you
don’t want to see them prosper. That’s a seed of the flesh. Are you ready to
fight this battle?
Variance:
When you allow the flesh to control you, you will always be ready to fight and
destroy anybody and anything that crosses your path. When the flesh dominates
you, your heart and mind will be full of pain, bitterness, unforgiveness,
wickedness, and jealousy.
Emulations: Emulation
is similar to variance. However, there is a slight difference. When you allow
the flesh to dominate you, you will have a strong, resistant energy against
people of power, authority, and honor.
Your soul will be so wicked
that you will start destroying others with your tongue and actions. Jealousy
will be the driver of your heart. Anything that brings glory to God will become
an enemy when you allow the flesh to dominate you.
Wrath:
You will easily lose your temper when you allow the flesh to dominate you. I
know some people who can hit you with anything when angry. Such people have
allowed the flesh to dominate them. Instead of controlling their flesh, they
have allowed the flesh to control them, making them prisoners.
Strife:
When you allow the flesh to control you, you see debate, insult, gossip, fight,
and disaster as the way of life.
Seditions:
You will love a place where disunity and division work if the flesh has power
over you. People who have allowed the flesh to dominate them don’t mind
creating confusion in families, workplaces, churches, and neighborhoods. They
receive joy when people are in pain. That’s the sadistic nature of fleshy
vessels. They are just carnal! The flesh is ruling them!
Heresies:
Living in the flesh can make you speak foolishly. You start preaching false
doctrines when the flesh dominates you. One reason people don’t care about teaching
false doctrines is that they don’t know that the flesh is controlling them. The
flesh is one of the finest battles we must win to walk and live in the light of
the Holy Spirit.
Envyings: I encourage you to download and read my book, The Mysteries of Jealousy,
for a more profound revelation. The book is free on my blog and youtube
channel. Envy is a great disease of the flesh. Failure to deal with this seed
will cause calamity.
Murders: One reason Cain killed his brother in cold blood was
because he allowed the flesh to dominate him. When you allow the flesh to
control you, killing human beings and other creations of God will look normal
to you. That’s another level of insanity. Do not remain in the flesh prison
because it’s a dangerous arena full of destruction.
Drunkenness: Allowing the flesh to control you can make you take
alcoholic beverages. People who enjoy strong alcohol are slaves to the flesh.
To walk with the Holy Spirit, you must dominate the desires of the flesh. It’s
your responsibility. It’s a daily battle!
Revellings: Have you realized that some people enjoy creating
attention with conflict and confusion? These are works of the flesh. People who
live under the control of the flesh initiate unnecessary war because that is
what the flesh is telling them to do.
Below are a few ways to dominate the desires of the flesh. I encourage
you to download and read my series of books on the Holy Spirit for a more
profound revelation. The books are free on my blog and youtube channel.
Seven ways to control the
flesh
1. Reduction of food
Food is necessary for our
growth. However, we must not overeat. Overeating can make the body overwork,
leading to enslavement. This is one reason we must learn to reduce our intake
of food. I used to eat to the extent that I found breathing difficult.
One truth about
overeating is that it generates strange dreams. Overeating can make us happy
for no reason. It generates funny thoughts. Overeating can make us visit the
lavatory several times.
Sometimes, we can even
get running stomachs because of food. Overeating can make the body
uncomfortable. We must reduce our food intake if we want to control the flesh.
One of the ways to reduce our intake of food is to fast.
By God’s grace, I fast
and pray at least three days every week. It has become my habit. The more we
starve the flesh, the weaker it becomes. When the flesh becomes weak, the Holy
Spirit can empower our spirit and soul to dominate the desires of the flesh.
Know when to eat, drink,
fast, and pray. I encourage you to read my series of books
for a more profound revelation. The books will help you dominate the desires of
the flesh quickly. The books are free on my youtube channel and blog.
2. Reduce lustful
materials
The more you watch porn
videos, read erotic books, and listen to ungodly music, it makes your flesh
strong, making the influence of the Holy Spirit weak. When your flesh becomes
strong, it will influence you to masturbate, fornicate, and indulge in immoral
practices.
Also, know that the
desires of the flesh can be addictive. The more you engage the things of the
flesh, the greater the bondage. Therefore, refrain from materials and
activities that weaken the Holy Spirit in your life. To be precise, feed the
Spirit more and the body less.
3. Personal hygiene
Keep the body clean by
taking good care of the body. When the body becomes tired, rest to gain energy.
Eat a balanced diet and occasionally check your health. When you occasionally check
your health, it will not become a thorn in the flesh.
4. Work on your mental
health
The mind can generate
illness if it overworks. Many people become depressed and attract strange
sicknesses such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. These mental disorders
can make the body act abnormally.
5. Work on the seed of unforgiveness
Unforgiveness can make the flesh gloomy, leading to enslavement. If you want the Holy Spirit to
dominate the flesh, learn to forgive. It’s a deliverance key.
6. Work on your bitterness
Holding grudges in your
heart can enslave you. The more you hold something against someone, the more it
poisons your flesh, enslaving you.
7. Wok on jealousy
Jealousy is an invisible
seed that empowers the flesh to dominate. Envying others makes the body a host
of evil spirits. If you don’t want the flesh to control you, surrender to
Christ Jesus, fellowship and relate with the Holy Spirit, and make the Holy
Bible your best companion.
Seven things that happen when you control the flesh
1. You will be able to
walk with the Holy Spirit when you dominate the flesh
Walking and living in the
Spirit will be fun when you control the flesh. As stated, the flesh is an enemy
to the Holy Spirit (see Matthew 26:41, Galatians 5:16-17). When you dominate
the desires of the flesh, your relationship with the Holy Spirit will be
strong.
2. You will be spiritual
if you control the desires of the flesh
The seed of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, meekness, and temperance will flow in your spirit and
soul when you dominate the flesh. You will see the seeds enshrined in Galatians
chapter five, verses twenty-two to twenty-three, manifesting in your life when
you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you (meditate on Galatians
5:22-23)
3. You will be sensitive
to the things of the Spirit if the flesh becomes your servant
The voice and leadership
of the Holy Spirit will be fruitful in your life when the desires of the flesh
die. You will not struggle to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit when the
flesh becomes your slave. The voice of the Holy Spirit will be clear when you
dominate the desires of the flesh.
4. Spiritual battles will
be easy if you dominate the desires of the flesh
Another advantage is that
spiritual battles will become easy when you dominate the desires of the flesh. Your
prayers will be full of fire when the flesh is under your control. You will not
struggle to operate in the Spirit when the flesh is under your control.
Visions, trance, and
prophetic dreams will overflow when the Spirit controls your flesh. Demons will
find it challenging to manipulate you when the flesh is under your control.
5. You can easily break
demonic influences when the flesh is under your control
Since demons and evil
spirits dominate carnal people, you will have great control over unclean
spirits when the flesh is not controlling you. As stated, the devil and his
cohorts rule in the realms of the flesh.
If you are a master controller
of the flesh, demons will tremble at your presence. Witches and other agents of
the devil will find it challenging to manipulate you if you are a controller of
the flesh.
6. Your health issues
will be strong if the flesh is under control
When your flesh is under
control, it boosts your mental, spiritual, and physical health. Many people are
in hospitals, graveyards, and spiritual prisons because the flesh controls
them. Dominate the desires of the flesh if you don’t want to become ill.
